this tool really simplifies managing shifts by offering a very visual and interactive layout that keeps everything at your fingertips. It's easy to use and their customer support has already helped me sort out a few questions I had. I find it interactive overall , even someone who isn't familiar with this kind of software will probably pick it up quickly. Having such an accessible interface makes day-to-day scheduling much less of a headache for my team.

Cons

The price is a downside you end up paying both for the licenses and for registering each employee which adds up. For small businesses like mine there might be other slightly cheaper alternatives worth considering.

I really like Calamari's uncluttered design from an employee standpoint. It doesn't have extra buttons or features , only the essentials are included.

I'd really appreciate a 'kiosk' mode in the mobile layout it would be awesome to have that option available when using the app on a phone.

I find tracking my time off really easy with this system. As someone who just uses it for basic leave requests, it feels very similar to other annual leave platforms I've used before. The Slack integration is definitely a nice touch though.

ui feels pretty bland and uninspiring to me. While I don't need anything overly complicated, it could definitely use more color and personality especially since the logo suggests something more vibrant and engaging.

I'm finding the software really interactive to use and the support team is hands-down the best I've ever dealt with. Plus it hooks up nicely with other apps such as Google Calendar making integration easy.

Calamari is really useful, especially if you work in an HR department that deals specifically with compliance of labor legislation. We dont have to keep track of every request made by the legal authorities, thanks to this software. Everything we need is available here. You are presented with several options for quick customization. It allows us to handle employees’ leaves in such detail that we even have an option to add anniversary or vacation days separately! It is quite simple to configure as well. It also Integrates with Google services and Slack quite well so you really have everything you need in one location.

Cons

It falters at one point and that is the mandatory requirement of entering the working hours of every employee each day. This might not seem like much at first but if you work in an organization where schedules are frequently altered, for over 300 employees, it becomes too much to handle. We had to dedicate a team to handle schedules alone, which was an added cost we didnt have before. However, the software does contain the essential features for maintaining our employees calendars, so it is still manageable.

I appreciate being able to simply input my time-off dates instead of dealing with lengthy paperwork and complicated approval processes.

Honestly there isn't much to complain about but I do wish there was an option to specify which days we'd prefer off when submitting time-off requests.
