Pros
As my teams grew I needed a time and PTO tracker to replace tedious spreadsheets. Calamaris trial revealed its value for money. Setup was straightforward and their support was impressively responsive. They quickly addressed any bugs I encountered and patiently guided me through setup. Integrations with Slack and Google Calendar were also highlights.
Cons
Not necessarily a drawback but I would appreciate an option to restrict requests on specific months or days.

“Great value with fast help
Pros
I have been hunting for a time and PTO tracker as my team expands because using spreadsheets has become way too tedious. I signed up for a trial with Calamari and quickly realized it was good value for money. Setup was easy and whenever I ran into hiccups their support replied unbelievably fast , usually within 3-4 minutes. I have noticed bugs occasionally but they fix them within minutes after I report them. The effort their support team put into actually helping me was genuinely impressive, they corrected my accrual rules and even sent screenshots of my real account to show exactly where I could tweak things. They were very patient throughout the process since I like to tinker, their team walked me through the entire setup step by step. On top of that, the integrations with Slack and Google Calendar are features I really appreciate and use frequently.
Cons
Not really a con but I would love to see an option that lets me restrict request submissions to specific months or particular days which would help enforce our internal scheduling rules better.

Wed like the option to export the review with each leave event color-coded (vacation sick days each in a different color) aiding in visualizing it for each employee per month. This would streamline the salary accounting process.

The support has been outstanding and I find it really helpful and easy to use.
Cons
I'd really appreciate having the option to export the review in a format that shows each leave event in a distinct color (for instance, vacations, sick days and other absences each displayed in a different color). That way I could easily view a month-by-month overview for every employee which would significantly simplify our payroll and salary accounting tasks.

“Modern & flexible but unpolished

What I really liked about it is its modern interface and how easy it is to use, even for employees who aren't very tech-savvy. I appreciate the multiple clock-in options, like the QR scanner, the mobile app and iBeacon which give a lot of flexibility depending on the situation. The advanced API is useful and should make future integrations simple I also noticed the customer support is responsive which feels rare these days and the processes are fast, helping me manage time tracking and leave much more efficiently. Overall it's a pretty nice app.
Cons
It sometimes falls behind competitors when it comes to available features. I wish the administrative tools and team-management options were more developed. every so often I face small translation mistakes and inconsistencies in exported reports which is annoying. A number of features are still in development and I sometimes feel like I'm being used as a guinea pig for paid functionality instead of getting a fully polished product.

Having more options for customizing leave policies approval workflows and reports would have been beneficial for organizations with unique requirements.

Cons
When we transitioned our financial year away from the calendar year it took us some time to understand how to set it up in Calamari. However we reached out to customer support and they guided us through the process. Its a bit tricky but the support team is available to assist with any inquiries.
