“Essential for operations

I can track where my team is and how they're spending their time which has been useful for managing our operations. It's really become an essential tool for our business.

“Perfect for employee accountability

Pros

The app really helps maintain accountability with our team even when they think they can get away with something. Despite knowing the system tracks their location, I still had employees trying to clock in from miles away from the actual job site. The out-of-bounds alerts come through immediately, so I can address these issues with staff right on the spot.

Cons

The only downside is that we didn't discover this sooner and honestly can't find any real flaws with it yet.

“Quick support!

Pros

Tech support team responds quickly and thoroughly without being judgmental. I also appreciate being able to monitor where my technicians are when they're out in the field.

Cons

Can't view job details directly from the scheduling section, which is inconvenient when trying to get a quick overview of what's planned.

“Simple setup and onboarding

Pros

Setting up new purchase orders is very simple. I can quickly see who's working where and what jobs they're clocked into, everything displays in real time with a really interactive interface. New hires never struggle with navigation or completing timesheets since the design is so user-friendly. Onboarding couldn't be simpler: just have them download the app, log in and they figure out everything else without any help.

Cons

The CSV export feature could use some work, when I export job data, the formatting isn't very clean and makes it difficult to read. This creates extra work when importing into our job tracking platform, though it doesn't really affect the core functionality.

“powerful but complex setup

Pros

I like being able to control which jobs specific employees can see and work on. The way it brings together time tracking and payroll management into one aligned process is really helpful. Customer service stands out too and starting an online chat for support is simple and you get the help you need quickly. Most people find it pretty easy to pick up and the management features aren't overly complicated to figure out.

Cons

Setting everything up initially took some time to get it working smoothly with our existing systems and processes, though customer support was responsive and helpful throughout the configuration.

“Perfect for logistics!

Pros

I find the interface user-friendly with its clean, simple layout. Being able to drag jobs to different dates with just a click makes scheduling so much smoother. The color-coding feature for different jobs is really helpful for quick visual organization. After trying several other scheduling platforms, nothing comes close to how interactive this one is. It's perfect for anyone handling job scheduling, deliveries or any logistics coordination. The fact that team members can upload details and photos directly to each job is a huge plus.

Cons

The only thing I dont like is not being able to view the full schedule through the mobile app. As an administrator who's often away from the office with limited computer access, this would really help me manage things better.

“Amazingly flexible but mobile app is laggy

Pros

I've been working with this system for about a year and the flexibility is amazing and there are so many customization options that we can tailor it perfectly to how our company operates. The interface feels natural to use and I really appreciate how the GPS feature seamlessly connects to Google Maps when employees need directions.

Cons

App struggles on older Android devices and it gets really laggy and sometimes the schedule won't even load at all. I wanted to use the scheduling feature but ran into too many issues with staff not being able to access it properly or missing notifications, so I had to abandon that plan.

“Incredibly versatile system

Pros

I have been using this for our business and it's incredibly versatile. Workers can clock in and out through the app, upload photos from job sites or equipment and add notes about their tasks. The ability to export weekly timesheets has been a game changer for me. Would definitely recommend it to others!

Cons

Messaging features are missing, it would be great to have texting capabilities that integrate with the system.

Pros

The payroll process that used to eat up an hour of my time now takes just a minute and it's incredible how much this has aligned things. Plus, I'm only paying about 25% of what I was shelling out for my previous time tracking solution which is a huge win for the budget.

I honestly can't think of anything negative to say about this platform, it's been best across the board.

Pros

I can track my team's hours precisely and always know their exact locations. The time reporting feature gives me complete control over timecard management which has been incredibly reliable for monitoring employee activity throughout the day.

Haven't had any major issues yet, though our AR team seems to struggle with understanding our processes and what we're trying to accomplish.

“Efficient tool but tricky edits

Pros

I find it really efficient and my whole team picked it up without any issues. Plus, it's saved me tons of time since I don't have to manually calculate handwritten timecards anymore.

Cons

I still find editing time cards a bit tricky. Adding time requires extra steps when it would be simpler to view the entire day and make changes without navigating away from the hours display.

“Easy conversion, frustrating approvals

Pros

Converting payroll data to QuickBooks is very very easy and saves me tons of time on bookkeeping tasks.

Cons

The approval process is frustrating, once a manager signs off on crew times, I have to reverse the approval just to make any changes. Plus there's no way to edit multiple employees at the same time which slows things down.

“Fantastic but a bit pricey

Pros

Working with this platform has been fantastic. Really simple and the customer service team is excellent. The QuickBooks integration works smoothly and support will actually hop on a call to guide you through setup.

Cons

Umm i feel like monthly cost runs a bit steeper than we'd prefer to pay.

I appreciate the real-time clock feature. With employees scattered across the country, it's been a game-changer for monitoring everyone's activity. I discovered one team member was taking advantage of the system and this tool helped me catch that. For another employee, I can track which projects they're working on and see if the time spent matches what it should actually take.

Cons

One of my employees managed to disable her GPS tracker and I really wish that feature could be made mandatory across all employee apps. Also, I'm kicking myself for not discovering this solution earlier!

The detailed features are impressive and I find it really user-friendly. The geofencing functionality works great for our needs.

This tool covers everything I need right now, so I can't really point out any problems with it.

“huge time-saver for payroll

Pros

this app makes it simple for everyone on our team to check their hours in real time. As a manager, I can quickly fix labor accounts and print payroll reports without any trouble. We're saving hours each week that we can now dedicate to other important projects.

Cons

now that employees can see their timesheet for the week in real time, they come to us with questions about hours before we've had a chance to verify labor from the previous day, this isn't the app's fault but something to be aware of and make your staff understand they should wait a full 24 hours before bringing "issues" to management.

“Streamlined and clutter-free UI!!

Interactive and clean interface, no unnecessary clutter to deal with. Processing payroll reports has become so much more streamlined and efficient compared to what we used before.

Clockshark has been a game-changer for tracking productivity and meeting deadlines in my business. No more chasing down employees every week to figure out their hours, I just log in and everything's there.

I wish clocking in didn't require selecting a job first. Would also be great to have a receipt photo feature for reimbursements, similar to what T-Sheets offers.

“Great visibility, needs better reports

Pros

I like being able to view everyone's schedule at once and see who's currently clocked in and what tasks they're handling.

Cons

reporting section could really use some improvements. I'd love to see all employee hours organized by job on a single page instead of having to dig through all the detailed breakdowns. Also, it would be great if there was a monthly budget option for jobs rather than just tracking the entire project lifecycle.

Pros

I can quickly generate reports and figure out job costs without any issue.

Cons

Time-consuming manual calculations are still needed since labor costs aren't calculated automatically AND I have to pull data from ClockShark separately. This prevents me from fully delegating responsibilities to others on my team.
