Pros

It performs well, moreover getting basic functions at a lower cost than other systems is also something I like.

Cons

Reporting poses some challenges as it does not always provide information in the desired format. It also handles rehires poorly, overwriting their previous work data and causing data loss.

Eddy is awesome for HR needs

Pros

Using Eddy is not a problem. It has everything I, as an employee, need to access about my employment in one place pretty easily.

Cons

I have no major complaints about Eddy as it functions excellently. While I don't use it daily, it is reassuring to know where to go when I need a document or have tasks to complete.

Highly recommended

Pros

Automating our hiring and onboarding process with this software was our first step. We expected about a learning curve but it did not trouble us much and with the support from our specialist, the experience was positive. We are still exploring the features and learning new things about it every passing day.

Cons

There is nothing that comes to mind. We sought an entry-level product, and this fits our needs well. We expect it to continue serving us well for the foreseeable future.

Great experience with this

Pros

Adding someone to Eddy Software is a trouble free task! We also like the flexibility it offers to set different PTO/Sick Time levels. Furthermore, adjusting missed or incorrect time punches is pretty easy.

Cons

While adjusting someone's punches is simple, it can only be done after the employee clocks out, which is a bit complicated. In my previous system, I could adjust 401K contributions and benefits elections directly, but now, I have to email my EddyHR representative to make these changes. While she is helpful and responsive, it adds extra steps that I wish I could handle myself.

Pros

The combination of features it offers is fantastic. Purchasing this software was definitely worth it compared to other options.

Cons

It's a bit frustrating that to switch from one employee's profile to another, I have to go back to the list of employees and search for the next one. It would be helpful if, while in a profile, I could either select another employee from a dropdown or have an option to move to the next employee alphabetically.

Pros

Learning to use it is a piece of cake. Anyone can use it without a tech background.

Cons

Pros

The company is amazing to work with for all your HR needs. They are highly responsive to every request and question I have about the system. Eddyhr is quite easy to understand and implement for both you and your employees. It is a valuable tool for small to medium-sized companies. It works but could use some more feature

Pros

One feature that stands out to me is the onboarding for new hires. I like being able to send invitations with welcoming messages and all necessary paperwork. New hires have found it incredibly easy to complete their paperwork at their own pace. I can also track their progress through the onboarding process.

Cons

One area for improvement in the software is the employee database search function. When I need to access multiple employee profiles for information, I have to navigate back to the 'People' tab and scroll back to the top of the list to search again.

Storing our employee documents digitally and easily accessing them is fantastic. I particularly enjoy emailing forms for review and signatures to our employees, tracking hours for payroll, streamlining new employee onboarding, coordinating job postings with job search sites, monitoring training progress and more.

Great product and amazing customer service

Pros

Managing complex PTO and vacation days for our staff used to be the most challenging part of my job. Dealing with that mess on an Excel sheet was a nightmare. Eddy HR simplified this process significantly, especially setting up various schedules for PTO and vacation days and how they accrue. Now, I do not even have to think about it as the software handles it all.

Cons

It would be great if I could print/save all reports in Excel or CSV format. Currently, I have only managed to process specific reports this way. It would also be helpful if Pay Periods were sorted from Most Recent to Oldest.

Great implementation & Follow up!

Pros

Introducing a new software and getting employees accustomed to it can be tough, but the team at Eddy has been amazing. They have continuously supported us through the process, being patient and helpful as our needs evolved as a new team.

Cons

Although some future functionalities are desired now, managing future leave taken before being earned and balancing has been challenging. Overall, the system is robust and highly beneficial.

Good product with a lot of room for improvement

Pros

The ATS and onboarding features work exceptionally well together. Time tracking and PTO are immensely helpful and easy to utilize.

Cons

The PTO feature could be enhanced to allow employees to be assigned multiple policies. The reporting function could incorporate more data points, and it would be fantastic to generate custom reports.

Our company previously relied on paper files, so transitioning to an online HRMS has proven to be incredibly helpful.

Cons

It would be beneficial to notify employees when their licenses expire. The current setup in Eddy requires creating a training, but having a calendar of dates to remind employees of deadlines would be fantastic.

Pros

Cons

Great for small to medium business

Great product for a good price!

Pros

EddyHR has proven to be very user-friendly for recruitment, employee management, time and PTO tracking and document storage. Considering the price, we couldn't have found a better entry-level HR platform for our small company.

Cons

While EddyHR is a fantastic platform, I do wish there were a few more features available. The existing features on the platform suffice for now, but customization to meet my specific needs requires significant back-end work. I wish it offered more customization tailored to my company's processes. However, considering the price, I can't complain! I rely on this system daily, and it performs its job effectively.

The employee profiles are a standout feature for me! Having access to this data is fantastic, and it's pretty easy to interpret.

Cons

I wish for more robust reporting capabilities. Additionally, I wish there was a method to reward employees through the portal. Payroll visibility poses challenges, from obtaining pay stubs to setting up out-of-state tax details.

Pros

I love Eddy's user-friendly navigation and its uncluttered interface which spares me from overwhelming features. Posting jobs instantly to three major job boards saves time and money. Pros

Customizing my candidate pipeline with drag-and-drop features is a real plus. I can create and save job postings in Eddy while simultaneously distributing them to top job boards like Glassdoor and Indeed. Tracking candidates is a breeze, especially with the ability to jot down notes right within Eddy.

The ATS/HRIS I Never Knew I Needed

It's effortlessly usable (plug and play), well-organized, with a meticulously planned process, simplified pipeline setup, and construction, streamlined initial contact with candidates, seamless integration with job sites for posting job ads, integration with existing careers pages, phenomenal customer service with rapid response times to inquiries, frequent updates, and clear communication about upcoming platform enhancements.

Cons
