“Helps me stay on top of applications
Pros
Meets almost all my needs. It's simple to clean up candidates and stay on top of applications.
Cons
The PDF reader for resumes could be a bit odd at times. The website doesn't work well on mobile though I was using it through a browser. If there's an app, I haven't tried it. There's also no way to leave notes between the recruiter and the hiring manager which is frustrating. Instead, I have to email back and forth.

Pros
Keeps everything well-organized. We could easily track candidates as they moved through different stages of the hiring process which helped the HR team and managers stay on task.
Cons
When I used it, generating reports was pretty limited especially with 'time to fill' reports. It could have improved since then but at that time, it was lacking.

Pros
It's a major improvement over our previous system. The new one works much faster and doesn't feel as sluggish, especially after just logging in.

“Extra cost for everything
Pros
iCIMS works fine with many other recruitment tools but keep in mind that there are additional costs.
Cons
Compared to other applicant tracking systems, they seem to be behind in terms of industry-standard features. Any extra features you need will cost you and those expenses can really add up. Other systems have these features included. Plus, you have little control over settings which means you need to submit a ticket for even minor changes and that can get annoying after a while.

“iCIMS works fine, but is clunky
Pros
The search functionalities, integration of email and text messages, and efficient management of candidate progress (from application to offer/reject) are noteworthy.
Cons
There's a limitation on the number of attachments for candidate applications/profiles (couldn't add more than 3 documents). In the candidate status section, theres no confirmation, so once you click on a status (like phone screen or interview), it automatically changes. The interface is clunky.

“iCIMS Talent Cloud
Pros
One aspect that stood out to me about iCIMS Talent Cloud was its all inclusive set of tools for talent acquisition. It facilitated the entire recruitment process seamlessly. The platform's strong applicant tracking system and user friendly interface made it effortless to handle job postings, track candidate progress, and collaborate with hiring teams effectively.
Cons
One downside I encountered with iCIMS Talent Cloud was the limited customization options for certain aspects of the platform, such as the candidate portal or application forms. Additionally, the reporting and analytics features could have been more advanced, offering deeper insights into recruitment metrics and trends.

“Terrible customer support, over promises and constantly under delivers. A true snake oil product
Pros
The search function and report generation were excellent, although they require extensive training to utilize effectively.
Cons
The customer support provided no help with answering questions or fixing bugs. It took a minimum of 3 weeks, and sometimes up to 6 months, to resolve cases. Instead of providing real answers to configuration issues, the help desk support directed me to the knowledge base center, even when I had already followed all the steps. The ATS interview scheduling tool was unreliable when syncing with my team's calendars. The feedback form tool rarely worked effectively for our hiring managers. The Microsoft Teams integration did not notify in a timely manner for interviews, job approvals, and offers, often after the fact. The CRM tool had constant logging out errors and the search fields were incorrectly mapped. Our implementation contact went completely silent. The data migration didn't fully work as promised, preventing resume uploads from attaching to candidate profiles. Multiple contracted integrations were never set up, leading to workarounds. The CRM, ATS, and Text engagement were separate systems with separate logins. The system routinely logged me out after a few minutes of inactivity.
