“Impossible to cancel
Pros
I was not impressed with their service. It was easy to set up a company account but when I tried to cancel my subscription or address billing issues, it became nearly impossible to get assistance.
Cons
You need to notify the staff 30 days before canceling your plan. I canceled my billing cycle but I am still being charged. I no longer have access to their services, yet I am still being billed. It's been nearly three weeks and they have not resolved the issue. my emails seem to be ignored and the customer service rep who initially helped me has disappeared since I filed a complaint.

“surprisingly easy and effortless to use
Pros
Well I was honestly surprised by Jazz HR in a good way. It is very easy to use and I never felt lost navigating it. Whether applying for leave or updating employee information, it felt effortless. everything was where I expected it to be and it just worked. No need for overthinking.
Cons
There were times when the system slowed down especially when there was a lot going on at once. also I found the payroll section a bit clunky. It gets the job done but it could work more smoothly.

Pros
When I first started in 2020, it was available at a great price. It was fairly easy to use and we were able to consolidate our applications in one spot.

Over time the product quality declined and the price increased, with no new features being added. I feel like the private equity company that bought them is just milking the product.

“We got hacked!
Pros
It's solid for the basics, easy to post positions and keep resumes sorted. But when it comes to anything more advanced, that's pretty much where it stops
Cons
We were hacked and charged $5,000 for fake job postings. JazzHR blamed us, saying their security was not strong enough. another big issue is that when you close a job on it, it does not close the position on other sites it was posted to, so we keep getting random calls for positions that were closed a long time ago.

Pros
The quality of caregivers in the local area is really good which makes it easy for us to find reliable help.

a real downside is that there's no way to filter applicants by country. We'll post a job for a position here in, say, Chicago, and end up with a bunch of applications from people halfway around the world who we can't hire. It just adds a lot of extra stuff to sort through.

“Terrible to leave
Pros
Initially, everything goes smoothly, but I would rate their applicant search capabilities around a 6-7.
Cons
When I made the decision to switch to a new service, I left voicemails and emails expressing my desire to cancel. As a business owner with multiple establishments, I never hold clients hostage or try to extend billing periods. Despite multiple calls and emails notifying them of my departure, I encountered difficulties. After complying with their requirements, I missed one line in an email that essentially asked, "Are you really sure?" (Yes, I thought to myself, I am absolutely sure after telling you five times already.) When I responded, acknowledging my oversight and requesting retroactive cancellation to the original date I informed them of my decision to leave, they essentially dismissed my request. It's simply an awful way to conduct business, especially considering the low price point.

“Easy, Inexpensive, Great Functionality!
Pros
What sets JazzHR apart is its impressive customization options. I can add emails to different statuses, ensuring candidates receive regular updates on their application progress. This helps maintain our company's reputation for effective communication. The convenient feature of merging multiple applications from the same candidate into one file saves time. Additionally, the seamless integration of Criteria assessments provides valuable insights right within the candidate's file. JazzHR offers a multitude of functions that cater to the needs of my small business clients, making it a reliable and efficient recruiting platform.
Cons
The messaging feature is valuable, but I personally experienced some glitches specific to my account. While there is a workaround, it is not ideal and gives rise to other complications for me. However, if utilized by a single client (business), they won't face this issue. Messaging is an excellent way to connect with candidates who may not respond to calls from an out-of-state area code.

“JazzHR Review
Pros
One of the standout features of JazzHR is its intuitive and straightforward interface. It streamlines our recruitment workflow, enabling us to effortlessly manage and track candidates throughout the hiring process. Customizable job postings, seamless collaboration with team members, and comprehensive candidate profiles all contribute to optimizing our recruitment efforts.
Cons
One aspect that didn't impress me much about JazzHR was the limited reporting and analytics capabilities. While the platform provided basic reporting functionalities, it lacked more advanced analytics and tools for visualizing data. Pros
JazzHR distinguishes itself with its sleek and user-friendly interface, making it one of the most intuitive ATS platforms I've come across. As a full desk recruiter, I find its job integrations, reporting capabilities, resume review, and background check features incredibly beneficial. The responsive customer support team provides excellent assistance, and the platform offers a range of training resources tailored for recruiters like me.
Cons
JazzHR offers a wide range of pricing options, but some businesses might find it pricier than other comprehensive ATSs available in the market. The reporting features are extremely basic and may fall short when recruiters are seeking more insights such as industry trends, market salaries, and prime talent locations. Additionally, there is a lack of candidate communication options. For example, I found it challenging to send mass emails or customize my communication templates.

“Recruiting Made Simple with JazzHR
Pros
JazzHR has proven to be an incredibly effective tool for managing our recruitment process. I wholeheartedly recommend it to any business in search of an efficient and streamlined hiring solution. One of its key strengths lies in its intuitive interface, presenting a clear dashboard that simplifies job postings, applications, and candidate statuses. The platform seamlessly integrates with a variety of job boards and social media platforms, attracting a diverse pool of candidates. Another standout feature is JazzHR's robust applicant tracking system, providing easy access to all applicant data, including resumes, cover letters, and interview notes. This information can be effortlessly shared among hiring managers and team members. The platform also includes automated reminders and notifications to ensure no candidate falls through the cracks.

“Affordable, Reliable and Robust HR solution
Pros
Jazz makes the hiring process unbelievably simple. I can easily gather all the required information and then discuss the applicant with the hiring manager by tagging them in the chat. All this is contained under one roof, which makes it easier for everyone involved. We can get a very clear idea of where the candidate is in the pipeline just by looking at the neatly presented data. It is simple to adjust the templates and workflow as required, and the customer support team is always available to help.
Cons
My only concern with the software is that when we have closed a certain position and are no longer hiring for it, a new applicant may still see the message "Hiring for this position has been put on hold at this time." Theres a definite distinction between putting the hiring process on hold and ending it altogether. We have used various workarounds that get the job done, but it is not ideal to do that every time. This is still a minor issue and doesnt really affect us all that much; it is just something for them to work on.
