Cons
Support has been poor and responses take too long. While LinkedIn parsing is good, it's slower than other tools. I feel they focus on creating flashy features rather than adding real value. The AI in this tool Source is often outdated and doesn't replace LinkedIn Recruiter. Managing deals and emails between personal and company accounts is challenging. The lack of Zapier integration and poor search functionality makes it costly for me.

I was really drawn to the idea of having everything consolidated, sourcing tools, ATS functionality and CRM capabilities all under one roof.
Cons
The sourcing tool doesn't work well for my industries and feels unreliable, during their own training session, a major company was missing from their database due to a spelling error. The client portal lacks password protection which is a dealbreaker for me, plus its rigid structure is frustrating. I can't modify the application form the way I need to, something as simple as adding instructions like "upload resume and cover letter" isn't possible. Their EEO form doesn't match the federal version and can't be customized, making it useless. Customer service was disappointing despite their claims of beating competitors, I often waited 36 hours for responses. At this price point, when the application form, EEO tool, client portal and sourcing features don't meet my needs, it's a huge waste of money. My staff finds other systems much more simple so we're switching mid-contract and eating the remaining costs. Make absolutely sure this works for your specific needs before committing, it's not cheap to get stuck with something that doesnt fit.

The pricing is fantastic and I love being able to handle both outbound and inbound recruiting from one place. Their Source database works amazingly well, it's basically like doing boolean searches on LinkedIn but even better. For inbound stuff, it connects smoothly with Indeed and LinkedIn company pages after you contact their support teams. This pushes your jobs everywhere online so you get maximum exposure. The outbound features are where this really shines though. I can run massive email campaigns and the unlimited plan is perfect for my needs. What's great is I don't need separate tools for email finding, sequencing, or ATS functions, it's all integrated. Most other recruiting platforms limit you to adding just one prospect (like Gem) or maybe 25 (Workable) per campaign but Loxo lets you add entire boolean search results, up to 5000 daily. Their "Sent via Loxo" email server really helps with deliverability, plus they actually help optimize your domain setup too.
Cons
I've noticed some bugs here and there though the development team keeps working on improvements. What I really appreciate is how responsive they are when I submit feature requests or report issues. Fair warning, this thing is packed with so many features that it can feel overwhelming at first. Took me about 1-2 weeks of setup and training before I got comfortable enough with all the quirks to actually start recruiting effectively.

I found the search functionality really frustrating and doesn't work logically. When I search for "Ronald," it pulls up completely unrelated names like Christie, Russel and Michael, even people who have nothing to do with Ronald at all. It's baffling how the results are generated. Other ATS and CRM systems I've used let you search by phone numbers or email addresses and actually show you the exact profiles of people who own those contacts. That's such a basic feature that should work properly on a platform like this but it just doesnt.

Anyone can jump right in, even if they're not tech-savvy but there's also tons of advanced functionality for power users. Getting it set up and integrated with our existing workflow took less than a week for our whole office. The reporting and AI capabilities are getting frighteningly accurate. I barely touch LinkedIn Recruiter anymore since my sourcing time dropped from weeks to just a few hours. Customer support is phenomenal, they respond within an hour and actually follow up when issues need more investigation. I'm on this thing daily and honestly can't imagine going back.

Our manager had no trouble getting it set up and integrated into our recruiting workflow. The customer support team is very hands-on and helpful when you need them. Since this is our primary tool, we're using it constantly throughout the day.

The call recording feature is pretty unreliable, sometimes it captures everything perfectly but other times nothing gets saved at all. There's no way to predict when it'll actually work which is frustrating when you need those recordings. Customer support takes way too long to get back to you when issues come up.

Actually tested over 2 dozen other ATS/CRM systems during that time, nothing comes close for the price point. You get an incredibly powerful ATS plus CRM functionality all in one package. The VoIP system gives you a local number for click-to-call right from the interface and when people call back, it forwards wherever you want. Unlimited SMS from that same number with replies going straight to email is a game-changer. Mass mailing is unlimited too, they handle the heavy lifting through their servers while keeping your company branding intact. Email and calendar sync works both ways smoothly between Outlook and contact cards. The "Connect" credits for finding phone numbers and emails work like ZoomInfo but without the extra cost. Their AI sourcing tool finds candidates matching job postings and taps into a proprietary database that rivals LinkedIn and Signal combined. Job posting goes out to multiple free boards plus ZipRecruiter automatically, with options to add Monster or CareerBuilder. Chrome extension pulls LinkedIn profiles instantly, email parsing handles hundreds of resumes at once and you can drag-and-drop files directly for parsing. Bulk CSV import saves tons of time. There is no desktop or mobile app. The web app can be quirky and frequent UI updates affect my workflow. Support is helpful but I find it frustrating to relearn parts of the system.

So, I consider this tool the best platform combining applicant tracking with outreach/CRM.
Cons
Reporting isn't set up to be highly usable. I have to export data and create my own reports and several useful metrics aren't tracked.

Pros
Managing the pipeline and stages is easy and I find it at least three times faster than our previous CRM/ATS. Searching within the database has never been easier.
Cons
Nothing much at this time. I would like to see 3rd party phone/VOIP services integrated so calls and texts log automatically, though it seems upgrades to the internal phone system are planned.
