“Clean and customizable interface
Pros
big fan of the clean interface that feels familiar right from the start. On the admin side the customizable access controls are fantastic and you can set up different permission levels quickly and easily for various user needs.
Cons
Found the time module integration with the main HRIs system somewhat frustrating. Managing our mix of hourly and salaried staff has been trickier than expected especially when trying to balance time tracking, PTO and holiday configurations for both employee types.

Pros
Once Namely is set up, it becomes very user-friendly and features a welcoming interface.
Cons
I have not encountered any issues so far. However, some of the submenus could be better organized, especially in the goal settings section.

It has all the important features I need from an HR platform for my medium-sized company but using those features is another story....
Cons
support feels non-existent for mid-sized companies like ours. Every ticket gets assigned to someone different so there's no consistency in response times or quality and their staff turnover must be through the roof. The interface keeps getting more cluttered as they add features without any way to customize them. Simple tasks now require multiple confusing steps that dont make sense. Their payroll implementation was a complete mess that we're still trying to fix 18 months later and they wont take any responsibility for it.

Its a good tool for US-based companies. However, if you have a global presence, you might want to consider a more internationally friendly option with broader capabilities.
Cons
The personalization and usability are lacking. It is not intuitive and feels very basic.

“I Recommend Namely
Pros
Navigating Namely is easy and I can access it from anywhere. In my experience, it has minimal website issues. It serves as a daily hub while employed with a company and remains accessible even after switching jobs. It was mainly helpful for filing my 2022 taxes, even though my new employer does not use Namely.
Cons
The only issue I faced was not being able to edit PTO time after the scheduled period had passed. For instance, if I requested 8 hours of PTO but only took 6, I could not make the adjustment the next day. My manager had to delete the entire request and I had to submit a new one.

Pros
I love the huge selection of payroll reports and there are seriously dozens to choose from.
Cons
Payroll reports section has way too many options and it's really hard to find what your looking for. I haven't been able to figure out if theres a way to bookmark or favorite the reports I use most often.

“smooth onboarding but clunky updates
Pros
Onboarding new employees is a really smooth process here. It makes staying compliant with all the rules much easier and the support team is quick to help me and actually fixes my problems.
Cons
The process can be really frustrating when you need to make updates, way too many hoops to jump through. We had to get an actual letter from the IRs just to change our company name even though we provided a tax return showing the new name. That seemed excessive and unnecesary.

I like how smooth the payroll processing runs and it's definitely my favorite feature to work with.
Cons
We have to build our own PTO reports since there isn't one readily available which is a bit of a issue.

It has been fantastic for our tech company. Our dev team loves how intuitive it is. From running reports to switching between different sections, it's made our whole HR process smoother and lets us focus on bigger projects instead of paperwork.
Cons
The API connections took forever to get working properly which really slowed down our ability to process new employee onboarding and terminations with our benefits vendors. Once they fix this issue, everything should run much smoother.

Pros
Despite being more affordable than most options, the data collection features are really flexible and have been a huge help for our small business operations.
Cons
The reporting features aren't as comprehensive as full-scale HR systems so compliance reporting can be limited. Setting up custom fields can get a bit complicated too.

The main page interface looks great. Everything I need is right there and easy to locate.
Cons
The LMs platform Mineral they use is terrible and the user interface is decent but managing admin reports and other tasks is a complete nightmare. I'd avoid this if you need that functionality.

Pros
Having everything centralized is fantastic. HR, payroll and benefits all accessible from one dashboard makes managing our Us workforce so much easier. Unfortunately the Canadian functionality just isn't there yet.
Cons
The reporting features are way too restrictive for what we need and there's no flexibility to build custom forms especially frustrating when trying to handle performance management tasks.

Payroll runs smoothly and most features work really well. When I need help, their support team gets back to me super fast via email.
Cons
