“Workflow from hiring to archiving”

Pros

Using this software feels very easy. The workflow is well designed and it handles the process nicely from requisition all the way through to archiving.

Cons

The frustrating part is that there are additional features available but our County won't purchase those add-ons.

From my perspective it's encouraging to see new enhancements and product updates coming in the near future.

It's very easy for both applicants and administrators to use the application.

Updating the SSO certificate every year has been a bit frustrating especially when compared with how other applications handle it.

Integrated set of services works really well together which helps us deliver convenient support to both our clients and customers.

At the moment, there isn't a financial system available to integrate with the HRIS platform.

Pros

I really like using this tool and the integration works really well and the customer support has been excellent. It's also clear that the team pays attention to feedback and takes user input seriously.

Cons

There are still quite a few steps involved so there's definitely room to make the process less complex. I'd also really like to see full integration with government finance and budgeting systems down the line.

This system feels much more user-friendly than the last one which was difficult to work with.

In my opinion it's really helpful being able to gather all applicant information in one product instead of juggling multiple tools.

It isn't very self-explanatory and I'd like to run more reports but I have a hard time figuring out how to do that.

Location worked out really well, the classes were genuinely informative and the party venues were a big highlight too!

A few class times overlapped so we ended up having to leave some sessions early or show up late to others.

It's specifically built for government employment which makes it especially relevant for that kind of hiring process.

Every section was really helpful and packed with useful information especially for someone like me who is still learning how to use it.

The lessons moved too quickly which made it hard to keep up and take notes.

There's a wide range of products available and together they create an ecosystem that fits our public safety organization's needs really well.

A downside is the limited connection between PowerDMS and the IT products. I really wish the databases could be shared across the different products.

I find this tool very user-friendly and explaining it to other users is easy.

Honestly, I haven't run into any issues so far so I'm not sure there's anything to complain about.

Having one system that brings our HR needs together has been really valuable. It also gives us a way to manage training and performance reviews in the same place.

The default card view isn't ideal and I don't like that I can't resize the column widths in my reports.

Trying to build everything out while also training the team at the same time was challenging and took some extra effort.

Having several products that mostly connect with each other is a big plus. I also really appreciate that Learn offers a wide range of classes to choose from.

The schedule layout isn't very appealing. It feels dull and makes it difficult to quickly see who's working.
