The analytics features are really helpful and I appreciate how easy it is to access information about potential employees.
Cons
I find it frustrating that candidates who appear in the Talent Search from previous recruiting cycles seem to get highlighted or prioritized. It doesn't feel fair, why shouldn't everyone from past recruitment efforts have equal opportunity when new positions open up?

Pros
I'm really impressed with how this platform handles all our HR needs in one place. What stands out most is their commitment to constantly improving the product based on what HR teams actually need. The interface is simple for our staff and employees can access the information they need without any issue.
Cons
Can't really think of any major downsides. This platform has been solid for me. If I had to nitpick, maybe there could be more customization options but honestly that's reaching. Everything just works as expected.

Really appreciate how the technology helps organize the human side of HR work. It's been great for reducing paperwork and having all documents centralized in one spot plus the compliance features are really helpful.
Cons
The interface isn't always friendly so I end up writing user guides for my team since some features aren't as convenient as they should be. Customization options are also pretty limited compared to what I'd like to see.

Pros
I primarily work with the Insight module and find it packed with useful functionality. Feels easy to manage candidates through each recruitment stage and keep track of all my communications with them. The learning curve wasn't too steep either. This is a simple ATS that covers all my essential needs without unnecessary complications.
Cons
I wish there was more flexibility when it comes to customizing the design especially for the supplemental questionnaire area. It would be much more convenient if I could copy questions straight into an exam plan instead of having to load them into the item bank first and then pull them from there.

Several options are available when setting up breakout rooms which gives me good flexibility for different meeting scenarios.
Cons
The timing got confusing when presenters finished ahead of schedule. The main stage seemed to be running way behind the original agenda.

Pros
We've been using this hiring platform for six years now and adding the onboarding module last year was a game-changer during the pandemic. Having candidates fill out pre-employment forms digitally, then smoothly transition to new hire paperwork once they're ready to start, has organized our entire process. The e-Offers feature works great and honestly, the candidate text messaging has been way more effective than I ever expected. It's made communication so much smoother than our old methods.
Cons
Creating forms in Onboard could definitely be more user-friendly. The formatting and alignment options are pretty limited compared to something like Adobe Acrobat. It would also be great if OHC and Onboard could communicate with each other better. That said, we've managed to find workarounds for most issues and nothing has really been a dealbreaker for us.

Pros
The screening process has become so smooth with this tool! I love how you can assign points to supplemental questions and watch the system automatically rank applicants. We still go through and verify that candidates answered everything truthfully and accurately but it's saved us tons of time.
Cons
I wish there was a report combining job postings with supplemental question point values. This would help HR teams assist departments in maximizing their question impact. Currently, we have to print or PDF the posting and manually add point values before sending to departments. While we don't share these values with applicants, this process is crucial for managing recruitment. Departments really appreciate being able to identify the most important knowledge, skills and abilities for success and ensuring those needs show up properly in job advertisements.

What I really appreciate is how user-friendly this platform is especially the outstanding user support. The support team knows their stuff, they're friendly and their hours work perfectly for our schedule. Having separate applicant support is brilliant. We don't have to spend time troubleshooting issues ourselves since we can direct people to the same knowledgeable and helpful team.
Cons
The integration process with other systems can be pretty time-consuming and expensive which caught me off guard when we first started implementing it.

The delivery and read receipts for any notices we send out are very useful. When candidates claim they never got our messages, I can clearly show them exactly when it was delivered and read. With today's hiring challenges where applicants often dodge responsibility for missed interviews or appointments, this feature is a game-changer. Being able to provide a screenshot with proof instantly shifts the conversation dynamic. I also appreciate how easy it is to access candidate profiles when people contact me about removals from consideration. I can quickly pull up all the details about why someone was removed, how long the removal lasts, everything I need right at my fingertips.
Cons
Customization options are pretty limited especially when it comes to user preferences. Every time I scroll away from candidate lists, I have to reset my column orders since there's no way to save user-specific default views. It's frustrating that each user can't customize which columns they want to see by default. Another issue is that you can't combine text and email notifications. It would be really helpful to send a simple text alert whenever an email goes out, just letting applicants know to check their profile for new correspondence. The biggest problem for me is that you can't modify position numbers on a requisition once it's created. I get that this is probably for compliance reasons but when you're hiring for 10+ positions and have month-long processing times, the positions you originally posted for aren't necessarily the ones you'll end up filling. The system seems designed for immediate vacancy-based hiring but our reality requires maintaining a candidate pool which makes it impossible to accurately track position numbers.

It stays current and adapts quickly based on user feedback. When we've worked with setup teams on new modules, they actually incorporate our suggestions within weeks of hearing from us. Customer service really delivers. They're responsive and handle issues efficiently whenever we reach out. It's built specifically for public sector needs, which matters since we're local government. The pricing makes sense for organizations like ours unlike most HRIS systems that target big private companies with deeper pockets. The training through Neogov University is excellent and something we really value.
Cons
Updates sometimes roll out without much advance notice or detailed explanations which can surprise you when interfaces and functionality suddenly change. That said this is really my only complaint since the updates consistently improve how everything works.

Been using this for four years now and it's really changed how we handle hiring, onboarding, performance reviews and our LMS. Made things so much easier for both HR and employees. Everyone can access their training materials and forms from any device. Honestly one of the best investments we've made as a company.
Cons
The downside is they're constantly updating things and keeping track of all the changes gets overwhelming unless you make time for their monthly meetings.
