amazing team

Pros

I find it to be userfriendly and their training resources are top-notch. Whenever I've needed help, the support team has been amazing. Honestly everyone I've worked with there from customer service when I was getting started, to sales reps showing us new features, to the implementation consultants who were absolutely fantastic. They've all been so helpful that I can't help but recommend them to others.

Cons

There's honestly not much to complain about! The team seems to really listen to user feedback and makes improvements based on what we suggest so any issues I might have usually get fixed pretty quickly.

impressed with all their products

Pros

We've been so impressed that we ended up buying nearly their entire suite including HRIS, Onboard, Perform, Insight, OHC, Learn and eForms. Our implementation journey started with Insight, then moved through Onboard, Perform, HRIS and eForms, with Learn coming up next. Perform has been a game-changer for our management team while Onboard has really organized our hiring process and made things much smoother for new hires getting through orientation.

Cons

Overall we like it but to be honest, this has been the most challenging implementation we've handled. The system itself is prone to bugs and isn't very user-friendly. We know the company is dedicated and is working on fixes but with their long list of updates we're having to wait longer than hoped for the changes we need most. We're sticking with it for now, trusting it will get better.

Offers critical hr solutions

Pros

I appreciate how they stay current with HR trends and customize their applications based on what clients actually need. The analytics and reporting features have improved dramatically in just a short time. They've been reliable about keeping everything compliant and addressing the real challenges HR professionals deal with daily.

Cons

Getting support takes way too long. I usually have to wait around 30 minutes just to reach someone on the phone. Don't get me wrong, the reps know their stuff once you finally connect but the wait times are really frustrating when you need help quickly.

excellent new features for higher education institutions

Pros

The new features designed for higher education institutions have really optimized our experience by adjusting the platform to how we actually hire and manage our applicant tracking process. Before Neoed became available, we were stuck using Excel spreadsheets which created duplicate work for our hiring committees.

Cons

The rollout process took longer than expected and we had to deal with some inconsistencies in our paper workflows during the transition.

Transformed our recruitment process

Pros

The way everything is organized makes moving through the system really easy and tracking applications has become much simpler. This solution completely outperforms what we used before. We've completely transformed our recruitment process and cut down the time to fill positions dramatically. Campus stakeholders love having access to such a comprehensive online platform that works around their busy schedules.

Cons

It is complicated at first and while NEOGOV offers online training and presentations, it still takes a while to get comfortable with everything. There's a community portal where users share tips which has been helpful over the years for newcomers to the TMS system. One frustrating thing is that the terminology they use doesn't always match what we use in our office. You can update the labels to fit your workflow but once you change them, there's no way to go back to the original settings. Also the notification system sometimes creates duplicates which gets annoying.

great for hiring but lacks tool connectivity

Pros

I use this daily for hiring faculty and staff at my institution and it's been brilliant. The tools are really well-designed and the customer service is excellent. They're always there when I need help with anything.

Cons

The connectivity with other tools isn't great and customization options are pretty limited. We're stuck juggling three or more different tools to get everything done when it would be so much easier to handle it all in one place.

Pros

The interface is engaging and really attractive across every module. Everything feels natural and familiar making it easy to use without any learning curve.

Cons

Mobile experience is terrible. There's no dedicated app and the web pages don't scale properly on phones or tablets. It makes the whole system feel outdated even though it's not that old.

Pros

Variety of products really helps match what different clients need. Working with this system is convenient and I appreciate how they're constantly looking for ways to make processes better.

Cons

It would be helpful if the Salary Study feature let you choose between archived and current data. Right now when you pull reports, you get both types mixed together which means spending extra time sorting through everything to find what you actually need.

well integrated modules

Pros

Very simple to manage and train new members. What really stands out is how well all the modules work together. I'm particularly impressed with how the company prioritizes user experience and actually listens to our feedback when making improvements to the system.

Cons

The only real issue we've run into is that certain modules don't allow you to distinguish between divisions and departments which can be a bit limiting for our organizational structure.

Pros

The speakers I attended provided excellent guidance that was genuinely useful for my work.

Cons

I couldn't get into any of the breakout sessions at all. I'll need to wait for the presentations to be shared or posted online since I could only watch the main stage content.

Engaging platform

Pros

I was genuinely surprised by everything this platform offers. While I primarily handle requisitions and some recruiting tasks, the entire system really impressed me. The idea of managing everything in one place seems incredible! Even though I'm not directly involved with the Civil Service Department that oversees our implementation, sitting through all the presentations and vendor demos made me wish I could work in that creative section. Brittany Cole was such an exceptional speaker, I could listen to her for hours and even purchased her audiobook afterward. All the presenters were so engaging with their audience, which I really appreciated.

Cons

I'm hoping they'll offer training specifically for what I do, requisitions and recruitment someday. Honestly any training would be beneficial. This whole experience was definitely a plus and I'd attend again without hesitation.. When I first started using this, I felt pretty lost and could have really used some guidance on how everything was supposed to work.

simplified everything for us

Pros

Having our recruiting process all in one place has really simplified things for us. The system is easy to use and we've been able to make our processes much more efficient overall.

Cons

The customization options could be better. There are some features where we're stuck with just one way to do things which can be limiting. That said updates happen pretty regularly and I've noticed several issues we had before have actually been resolved now.

amazing tool for talent management

Pros

I really appreciate the wide range of talent management options available. Our organization uses Insight, OHC and Onboard plus we're getting ready to implement Perform. The integration between modules works perfectly and having more of them definitely speeds up our hiring process. Customer support is responsive when we need help and they genuinely consider our suggestions for improvements.

Cons

I really can't think of any major issues with the platform itself. My only frustration is that we're not taking advantage of all the features available. That's more on us than the software though!

Well-trained staff

Pros

The support team here is professional and well-trained. There are so many ways to get help from the community forums and live webinars to online training sessions and the Step-Up Series. Never feel stuck when I need to learn something new or troubleshoot an issue.

Cons

The platform is designed to work for many different organizations which sometimes means it doesn't have all the specific features we need. Though they do have a section on their website where you can submit suggestions for new developments.

Pros

Appreciate how well the different programs work together. Since we use Insight, OHC, PERFORM and Onboard, having everything consolidated in one location saves me from jumping between multiple databases constantly.

Cons

For some processes you'll find yourself going through multiple steps just to finish one simple task. On the plus side the team is constantly rolling out updates that make things better over time.

Easy to adjust permission levels

Pros

Great how easy it is to manage permission levels during recruiting and the way it stores all the historical data is useful for tracking everything over time.

Cons

Gets frustrating when it kicks me out so often and I have to get back to where I was working since it doesn't remember my last page.
