I like how simple this is for someone like me who doesn't have an accounting or HR background. The interface makes sense even when you're not a specialist in these areas.

The online interface is pretty easy to use and whenever I couldn't locate something, I got quick help through either live chat or email support.

Found the unemployment insurance setup somewhat confusing though their support team helped me work through it pretty well.

Works very fast and the support team is always ready to help. Way better experience compared to that huge payroll software we used prior to this.

Customer support can be tough to reach when you need help. The payroll reports don't really cut it for special pay runs or tax payments, they're pretty underwhelming. Because of these issues, I've spent way too much time trying to figure out what specific tax payments were for, making it a real hassle to get charges recorded properly in our books.

Don't have many complaints. Switching employees between states for multistate payroll could be simpler though it's not terribly difficult to figure out.

I really appreciate how flexible the payment scheduling is, everyone can be set up to get paid exactly how they need to. The features are solid too and make managing everything much smoother.

The pricing could definitely be better though it's pretty much in line with what other similar tools cost.

It keeps all my payroll records organized and takes a huge weight off my shoulders since I don't have to stress about maintaining them myself.

I miss out on earning interest since funds get pulled from my business account. I get that the company needs to generate revenue to keep their service fees affordable though. The tradeoff makes sense to me.

Takes 4 days for direct deposit to go through which feels pretty slow. Would also like to see more flexibility with PTO customization as the current options are somewhat limited for our needs.

Everything I need for managing my team is right here in one spot. I can handle timesheet approvals, vacation requests, grab contact info and access HR details all within the same application.

The system displays report options and fields that I can't actually access which can be confusing when trying to navigate what's available to me.

I find the interface visually appealing and moving around feels effortless. Reports are easy to understand and formatted exactly how I need them. Customer support has been amazing and way more responsive than other payroll platforms I've used. There's also a nice feature that lets you give your accountant limited access which adds an extra layer of security against any potential misuse.

I haven't been able to figure out how to add office locations yet.

“Handles everything for me

Pros

setting up was not an issue at all. Once I entered my business details, it handles everything else automatically. It calculates taxes and deductions, manages filing and pays employees without me having to worry about the details. Running payroll every two weeks is simple now. When I do have questions, the chat support is always there.

“More user friendly than the competitors

Pros

Getting started was so simple and I find the online interface really simple to use. It's much more user-friendly compared to competitors like QuickBooks payroll which gave me endless headaches. The pricing is fair with that one-month free trial and no setup costs. I needed a payroll solution that handles all our tax filings and this delivers exactly what I was looking for.

Cons

I havent found any real issues so far. If I had to pick something, it would be nice to manually adjust the GL report without needing Quickbooks integration. The payroll submission deadline is also pretty tight. It's close to the pay period end which works fine for salary staff but might not give enough time when you have hourly workers.

Pros

I can always reach someone when I need help. Everyone I've dealt with has been both helpful and knowledgeable. They really made our transition smooth and stress-free.

Cons

The only real drawback I see is paying the same fee for each EIN, there should be some kind of group discount when you are bringing multiple companies onto the platform.
