“good mobile app”
Pros
Mobile app is really convenient. Running my regular payroll takes just a few clicks whether I'm using the app or browser. Getting to tax documents is hassle-free as well. Haven't tried other options since this one does everything I need and the pricing seems fair.
Cons
Occasionally my payments arrive a day or two ahead of schedule which can throw off my budgeting. That said I haven't had any real issues with it yet and if I ever need to sort it out, my account contact's phone number is right there on the portal homepage.

Pros
Just wanted to say the reports are really helpful.. they've given us a much clearer picture of everything.
Cons
The time accrual feature drives me crazy. I'm constantly having to fix calculations that don't add up correctly. Adding new employees is a real headache too and the onboarding process feels unnecessarily complicated. I wish there was a clear guide because every time I call support, they mention something that would've saved me trouble if I'd known it beforehand.

“scales well”
Pros
Managing payments for both 1099 contractors and payroll employees is simple and they handle all the government regulatory stuff plus tax filings automatically. Their design seems solid enough to scale with us as we add more employees and expand services. Support has been outstanding even though I'm on their basic tier.
Cons
Their reporting system is really confusing. All payroll reports get created as downloadable PDFs on the spot which makes it practically impossible to filter or combine data from different pay periods through the interface. Some of their extra services like HRA benefits administration cost way more than what you'd pay with other standalone providers.

“handy Quicklinks option”
Pros
The Quicklinks feature is really handy for accessing my most-used functions. It's great that employees can set up their own accounts to check payroll information.
Cons
The biggest frustration is not being able to rearrange reports in my preferred order and I can't delete an employee once I've started adding them. I also wish there was a way to calculate net pay when employees update their deductions.

Pros
Payroll that used to eat up hours of my day now takes just a few minutes. The customer service team is helpful and really knows their stuff. In 8 years of using this, I haven't had a single complaint or issues and that's pretty remarkable.
Cons

Honestly I'm too frustrated to think of positives right now.
Cons
The response time is really slow which gets frustrating when you need quick answers. There's constant turnover with staff members so you're always dealing with new people who don't know your account. Tax payments consistently come in late which creates problems for our business. The different software modules don't talk to each other properly and everything feels disconnected. I run into glitches regularly that disrupt my workflow. Most employees I deal with seem to lack proper training on the system.

Quite a friendly system. For smaller teams navigation feels natural without much of a learning curve. Support staff are excellent at guiding you through customizations to meet your specific requirements.
Cons
When you're dealing with over 1,000 employees and complex scenarios, this platform really struggles to keep up with organizational demands. Too many things require manual updates in employee records, which becomes a real headache.

Processing payroll is simple most of the time though getting quick help when problems arise can be challenging.

Customer service is absolutely terrible. My account rep is constantly out of office and when she does respond to emails with multiple questions, she only addresses one issue at a time, forcing me to send follow-up emails repeatedly. I found a tax setup error on someone's final payroll and was told it would take 4-6 weeks to fix. After checking in at 6 weeks, she admitted three days later that she never even submitted it to the processing department. I escalated to her supervisor over two weeks ago and still haven't heard anything back, even after calling. The general customer service line won't route me to anyone except my unavailable account person. The software itself has numerous annoying quirks that make simple tasks inefficient. For example, when entering a new salary, if I change the dropdown from "Hourly" to "Annually" after entering the dollar amount, it completely wipes out what I just typed and I have to start over. There are many frustrating little issues like this that you just have to learn to work around.
