Pros

Running payroll from Paychex Flex is super easy because all the functions are built right in. We use Time and Attendance and Benefits Administration, so hours and deductions are automatically updated and fed into the payroll file. I can complete payroll for my 100-person team (60% hourly) in under an hour, including running all the reports.

Cons

The functionality isn't as good as other platforms like Paylocity. We switched to Paychex to integrate with our new parent company but we lost a lot of insight in the process. The manager interface doesn't offer as much visibility and the reports are pretty terrible, they can only be downloaded in PDF form.

It's easy to use and understand and everyone is always so helpful whenever I need answers or assistance. I always feel supported when I have questions.

It's not so much that I dislike but they offer a lot of features and don't have the time to implement them or notify employees.

The interface is very user-friendly and I have no trouble navigating it. It's flexible which makes everything go smoothly when I'm using it.

It is pretty user friendly. All our employees have easy access online and printing the W2 form is simple. Also it is a secure product.

If reconciliation does not work we have to spend time figuring out why. And our employees could not change their tax withholding on the site and had to go through HR for that.

On the HR side it is really easy to use. As I can easily export payroll information and send it to our accountant that too within few minutes.

Our employees find it difficult to use. Also it is semi easy to request time off but the app can take up to five minutes to load before they can clock in or out. This led to impatience and many missed punches.

When I was getting onboarded one of their reps did not send me the onboarding email. Also I had to follow up four times over two weeks which was frustrating.

It is easy to navigate and the user interface is very friendly. Like I faced no trouble using it!

The rep assigned to our account was not helpful. He never returned calls or emails and was always unavailable when we needed to speak with him.

The app lags a lot and the desktop version is difficult to navigate. And there are way too many steps to process time cards and other tasks which is annoying.
