“Good for taxes but poor training”
Pros
Helps keep our tax obligations current and ensures we stay compliant with state and IRS requirements.
Cons
Communication dropped off after our main contact left, nobody picked up where he left off with training. Even though I'd used Paycom before, I was completely lost with the new Betti feature and felt abandoned in the process.

“Lots of options but sometimes too rigid”
Pros
Lots of flexibility with all the different options you can choose from. What they tell you upfront is exactly what you'll get, no surprises there. The implementation team was really solid and helped us get everything set up smoothly. They delivered on every promise the sales rep made during our initial meetings.
Cons
It can be too rigid at times like how pay periods automatically include weekends in calculations even when you dont want them to. While it delivers exactly what the sales team promises, that specificity can sometimes work against you when you need more flexibility.

“Great support but location tracking needs work”
Pros
The sales rep and service team are incredibly dedicated - whenever I have questions or run into issues, they're right there to help. Having worked with other services in different departments before, nothing really compares to this level of support.
Cons
I wish the geo-fencing for clock-ins was more flexible. Some of our team members work both in and out of the office and tracking their hours accurately for payroll becomes a real trouble.

Pros
Biggest advantage is how easy it makes running my business day-to-day. Everything feels smooth and user-friendly, so I don't waste time figuring things out. Customer service has been fantastic and they're really experienced and know what they're doing. Whenever I need help, the support team is excellent at getting me sorted quickly.
Cons
Getting started was pretty rough and I had to wait over 6 months just to get my bank account verified which was frustrating.

“Good training but reps change too much”
Pros
The training videos they've created for us are really impressive. I'm blown away by how skilled there team is and how they can explain things in so many different ways. All the account entries and cash deposits come through perfectly clean. Our accounting professional loves working with the year-end reports they provide, makes everything so much easier. Training sessions are straightforward and actually helpful. They don't bombard you with emails but when something does come through, it's worth paying attention to. We've discovered tons of useful suggestions and ideas that really benefit our staff.
Cons
The growth has been impressive to watch but it comes with some growing pains. While the new representatives are knowledgeable and effective, I'd really prefer having someone consistent to work with. This role seems to change hands quite often which can be frustrating when you're trying to build a working relationship.

“efficient app but timecards are annoying”

App is really user-friendly and I love that I can access all my information whenever I have my phone with me.
Cons
Even though I'm on salary, I still need to fill out timecards which is a bit annoying. That said it's way better than ADP & I literally had to reset my password every single time I tried logging into ADP at my old jobs.

I like having payroll and HR functions all in one place. What stands out most is how employees can manage and update their own personal information instead of managers having to handle everything for them.
Cons
The cost is definitely steeper than what we paid our old payroll provider. Their website had a much cleaner, more polished appearance compared to this one. That said, the time I save using this platform is huge for me, so I can live with paying a bit more.

Love how simple it is to clock in and out, plus managing schedules as a supervisor couldn't be easier. Time card processing takes just minutes instead of hours.
Cons
The learning curve is pretty steep if you're new to this system. Without prior experience you'll definitely need some time and assistance to get comfortable with everything. While there are tip sheets available, they dont really cover all the features you'll encounter.

The accrual system is confusing and hard to follow. Background checks don't provide enough detail and they're missing credit scores which is frustrating. The applicant platform feels pretty useless and doesn't add much value to the process.
