Pros
The interface is user friendly, which benefits both administrators and workers. The system is intuitive and guides users through various stages. It provides a single program that manages the entire employee lifecycle, from hiring to retirement. This eliminates the need for multiple systems, which can lead to inconsistencies and errors in information. This feature is particularly admirable and has significantly reduced our workload. Employees can manage their personal information, benefits, attendance and time enrollment, reducing the need for additional personnel resources and empowering them.
Cons
The mobile version lacks the same capabilities as the desktop version. It is also more costly compared to other personnel and resource management methods. The level of customization, especially in reporting, is minimal. The transition to a new method could be challenging, as I experienced difficulties during the implementation stage, particularly with data transmission.

“Basic system with bad support”
Pros
There isn't much that stands out to me about this payroll system and it's pretty basic and does what it needs to do.
Cons
Getting help when you need it is really frustrating because even their support team seems stumped by questions. I struggled with benefits setup and didn't get the assistance I needed, plus there were errors with benefit deduction uploads that made things even more complicated.

“thorough onboarding experience”
Pros
Onboarding process blew me away, absolutely phenomenal support throughout. Sure there were a couple things that didn't get covered which caused some hiccups down the road but honestly with the massive amount of training material, I'm shocked more wasn't overlooked. The level of detail and thoroughness was incredible, really a breath of fresh air compared to other platforms I've used.
Cons
The lack of a search function really frustrates me when I'm trying to locate specific features on such a massive platform. Training for benefits was seriously inadequate - even after extra sessions, I felt completely lost, though that might've been due to our trainer's approach. Had to figure out my first open enrollment pretty much on my own.

“highly functional employee hub”
Pros
I am able to track my time either by logging hours manually or using the punch-in feature, plus I can assign funding sources and send everything for supervisor approval. But that's barely scratching the surface, my vacation time, accruals, documents, performance evaluations, pay stubs and tons of other stuff are all right there when I need them.
Cons
The performance review feature seemed to have some calculation issues, though I'm not entirely sure if it was the system or just me figuring things out since this was our first year trying digital reviews.

“Worst service and many problems”

I'm relieved we're no longer tied to this platform. The service quality has really tanked over the last year and we went through six different account reps during that period, each transition somehow made the customer support even worse than before.
Cons
Over the past few years, I've noticed some serious internal problems that really hurt their service quality. We've dealt with payroll mistakes, incorrect accruals and what I can only describe as terrible customer support. Our reps actually told us they were quitting because things were falling apart internally that says everything. We went through 6 different account representatives in just one year and each change made things worse. Eventually we decided to switch to something more dependable. When we tried to leave, they promised a termination specialist would contact us but that never happened. They shut off our access before sending the termination checklist, and we missed some important data requirements because of poor communication. Now they're demanding $5000 just to pull one report. I'd strongly recommend looking elsewhere for a more reliable solution.

“Good for pay and time off”
Pros
It's really convenient for checking pay stubs and seeing when my next paycheck is coming. I can request time off right through the system too. Our whole team uses this daily to clock in and it handles all our employee documents and benefits info in one place.
Cons
The navigation is pretty confusing if you haven't watched their tutorial videos first. What really bugs me is having to connect to the company's specific wifi just to clock in - though I guess that might be our company's security setting to prevent people from clocking in remotely. Still, it's a good app for tracking pay and accessing documents.

Pros
I love all the extra learning resources and various services it provides, including payroll tools, timecard management, tracking features and employee monitoring for supervisors.
Cons
I haven't really found much to complain about but there are some things that could be better organized. Some of the tools supervisors need are tucked away in weird spots that don't make much sense, would be nice if they were easier to find.

Managing payroll has become incredibly simple and it's honestly our top feature by far.
Cons
When we update existing employee info especially department changes, I have to go into multiple sections, page 1, page 3 and User Access Groups. It's a bit tedious having to make the same change in several different places.

I don't like having to change my password so frequently. Managing both client and employee accounts makes it really tiring to come up with passwords I'll actually remember.

Brenden Lewis my Paycom specialist, truly exceeded expectations when we needed it most. After Paylocity completely failed us just days before payroll, Brenden helped us get everything set up in just 3 days which seemed impossible at first. Lauren Jimboy was equally amazing during implementation. Both responded incredibly fast to emails, calls and even texts. The whole experience was smooth and the platform itself is really intuitive to navigate. I'd definitely recommend this to other businesses looking for reliable payroll solutions.
Cons
The timecard section needs some improvement.

Having one central hub for everything has been really helpful for our team. We use this for tracking time, managing expenses, handling training modules, uploading documents, getting new hires set up and organizing benefits all in one place.
Cons
Nothing negative to mention. It would be great to get push notifications on the app though. Also wish I could add more stops when I'm manually entering mileage logs.

I find both sides very easy to use. When I log in, whether as an employee or manager, I always know exactly where to find what I need. If I ever get stuck, the help feature is simple and easy to use.
Cons
Time entry feels clunky for hourly staff, not as interactive as it should be. The time off calendar is missing a key feature where you can download a report showing everyone's time off requests, which would be really helpful.

Pros
The pricing is definitely more affordable than other options out there, though you do notice the difference in what you're getting for that lower cost.
Cons
It lacks internal integration which created serious compliance problems with our payroll accuracy. When we discovered these issues, it took months to fix them and we're still dealing with amended tax documents. Management eventually admitted that their platform isn't properly integrated and there support team doesn't get adequate payroll training to help clients effectively.
