Comprehensive solution

Pros

It brings together several tools we used to rely on separately, including payroll, job postings and expense reimbursement which has made things much more convenient.

Cons

Entering time on timesheets is painfully slow for our users. It may be tied to the fact that we have dozens of departments for time entry but that's simply how our organization is structured.

Plenty of useful capabilities

Pros

The benefits administration side really stands out especially the benefit advisor area. It has a lot of functionality and offers plenty of useful capabilities.

Cons

Reporting can be a bit complicated. You have to begin with a template to create a report and not every template includes all the data you may need.

Easy to operate

Pros

Its pretty easy to operate especially when it comes to running payroll. The employee side is also decent for submitting and requesting changes and the platform does a fair enough job of communicating updates when something changes.

Cons

it is not very user-friendly in that area and it is missing some basic HR and payroll reporting. Building reports is also more difficult than it should be.

smooth transition

Pros

Getting comfortable with this software didn't take long at all. It's simple to use, easy to understand and the switch from our previous ATS was fairly simple.

Cons

I have not faced any issues so far.

Worth the cost

Pros

From a cost standpoint, it has been well worth it. The platform is simple to use and the payment process has worked reliably for us.

Cons

communication with partners could be better. We also ran into some problems during a change to the vacation system and it created a frustrating experience for both customers and team members that took a while to resolve.

Candidate management made simple

Pros

It gives us a simple way to manage candidates and keep them moving through each stage of the hiring process. Being able to work together with HR in one place, without depending on long email threads or spreadsheets, has been a big plus.

Cons

A few areas of the system feel less user-friendly than they should and moving between candidate profiles and different hiring workflows sometimes takes more clicks than I'd expect.

Horrible customer service

Pros

There is very little positive I can point to. It should not take constant phone calls just to get the assistance you need.

Cons

The customer service has been terrible. I'm at the point where I'm ready to find another company to work with. Too many employees seem unclear about their roles so they end up being unable to help.

Slow responses from the team

Pros

The reporting tools were simple to use and moving over from another HRIS competitor didn't take much time to figure out.

Cons

Customer support was the biggest problem. Responses were slow, the help wasn't useful and they even charged extra to fix issues that should have been set up correctly from the start.

Covers the basics

Pros

It covers the core things we need it to handle. It helps us manage employee records and position updates, process payroll, keep historical data and create customized reports along with several other useful tasks.

Cons

At the moment some features that used to happen automatically now have to be done by hand like updating an employee's punch profile and choosing the Workers' Comp code. The impersonation feature is also gone which used to let us view the profile the same way another employee would see it.

Lets me check my weekly pay

Pros

Having access to my paystubs right on my phone was really useful. I could quickly check my weekly pay, see the hours I worked and keep track of my available PTO hours.

Cons

The platform feels a bit too basic. I did not come across many additional features that helped with my daily management tasks so it could definitely use some improvements.

Cuts down on manual work

Pros

It has taken a lot of the headache out of payroll and HR tasks that used to consume so much time. Processing payroll feels pretty simple and keeping employee records organized in one system is much more manageable. The employee self-service portal has also been a really helpful feature since staff can view pay stubs, request time off and update their own information without having to rely on HR for every little thing. For companies with a larger workforce, it definitely removes a solid amount of manual work from the process.

Cons

Customer support feels inconsistent. At times you connect with someone helpful right away but other times you're left on hold or waiting for a callback when the issue feels time-sensitive. The reporting features do the job but creating custom reports is not especially user-friendly and usually takes more trial and error than it really should. There have also been a few occasions where system updates quietly changed something which then left us troubleshooting on our side to figure out what happened.

Broad range of features

Pros

This has been a dependable HR and payroll solution that makes managing a workforce much simpler, no matter the size of the business. The platform is simple to use and comes with a solid range of features, including payroll, time tracking, benefits management and recruiting tools. One of its strongest points is the user-friendly dashboard which helps both managers and employees find important information quickly.

Cons

I'm not happy with the case submission process. When the team replies through Salesforce, I never seem to receive those communications.

Responsive local support

Pros

Having a local office nearby was a big plus. Whenever something came up, there was always someone local we could reach and they were able to fix the problem quickly.

Cons

Every now and then we ran into a few issues while processing payroll but we were always able to get them corrected.

Hidden fees and broken promises

Pros

At least direct deposit worked and that's honestly the only positive thing I can point to. The person who handled my initial Paycor setup seemed pleasant enough but later I realized he had ignored everything I told him.

Cons

It's been one frustration after another with fees, extra fees and charges nobody can properly explain. On top of that, promises were not kept and the customer service has been terrible and dishonest.

all payroll details in one place

Pros

Having payroll information and employee benefits together in one system is the biggest advantage for me. It keeps everything in a single place acting as a centralized solution and I can work through tasks without the whole program locking up or freezing.

Cons

There really isn't anything I dislike about it but the price climbs quickly when you want to add each extra integration. I just wish it were more affordable overall.

great integration capabilities

Pros

Something that really works well is how connected the system feels. Once an HR admin changes a candidate's status to "hired" in the Recruiting module, that information moves straight into Payroll and Onboarding without any extra re-entry. It saves a lot of time and cuts out the hassle of typing the same details into multiple places. Another big plus is having electronic tax documents like W-2s and 1095-Cs stored in the same spot employees already use to check their weekly pay which makes everything much more convenient.

Cons

A downside has been the recent move toward AI-based support. Some users are frustrated because it feels harder now to get in touch with a knowledgeable human rep when they're dealing with more complicated issues.

Well laid out system

Pros

Everything is laid out in a very user-friendly way and getting around the system feels easy. The interface feels natural and makes sense. It makes it simple to keep track of pay, days off and allowances all from one page which is really convenient. The biggest plus is how simple it is to use overall.

Cons

I honestly haven't run into any problems with it. I really don't have any complaints.

Support staff never lets you down

Pros

Whenever I needed help customer support was very responsive and useful. They have never kept me waiting for answers. I was always able to find exactly what I needed. The platform was user-friendly overall and felt very simple to work with.

Cons

Didn't notice any drawbacks at all. The website worked well for me the whole time and I appreciated all the tabs and sections available to work in.

Handles core tasks well

Pros

Everything I needed for HR in a previous role was all in one place and the platform was very simple to use. It handled all the core tasks really well and I could always count on it whenever I needed to check my pay information.

Cons

The system is pretty basic so there isn't much you can do beyond its primary functions. We mostly used it for payment details and it didn't offer much outside of that.

centralized HR solution

Pros

Having payroll, onboarding, documents and employee information all in one system really helps keep things organized. It makes managing multiple employees much more manageable especially when there is a lot to keep track of. After spending a little time with it, the platform feels fairly user-friendly and daily tasks become easier to handle.

Cons

Support is not always as quick as it should be which can be frustrating when you need help right away. A few parts of the system are less user-friendly than expected and some features require extra steps to understand. When issues come up, getting them fixed can sometimes take longer than it really should.
