great communication and attention

Pros

The communication and attention we received were incredible. They asked lots of questions and were genuinely interested in learning more about us which was wonderful.

Cons

One stop for everything!

Pros

It is a one stop solution for talent management. We can handle everything from applicant tracking to onboarding, benefits, performance management and much more.

Cons

some features were self-service and a bit confusing but I was able to get support when I needed it.

The worst customer service ever

Pros

I honestly cannot think of a single positive aspect about Paycor. I just cannot find anything good to say about it.

Cons

This is by far the worst customer service I have ever experienced with any software. From call centers where you cannot hear the representative to a sales rep who ignored calls and emails, basic issues take weeks to resolve.

easy for the team to use!

Pros

The system is very easy to use. as our entry-level team members were able to navigate Paycor which significantly eases the workload for the management team.

Cons

During the conversion there were challenges with setting up the payroll. Our payroll has a lot of complexities because we are a nonprofit and our funding comes from various programs.

Complete solution

Pros

Its a complete solution thats really user friendly as well. Everything is at one place so theres no need to deal with a bunch of different systems or moving parts. I like how it is designed!

Cons

Customer service is certainly an issue. I can never get in touch with a live person. I face issues like losing accesswhere it takes a day or two to get back in.

Fits our company's needs

Pros

I love that we can customize the program to exactly fit what our company needs. Plus its super easy for our team to use and get the hang of.

Cons

Took me a few tries to get the payroll coding right for taxes and benefits. I had to work with their staff a few times before it was sorted out.

Amazing tool

Pros

Payroll runs smoothly, approving time cards is simple and shift swaps are never an issue. The reports are clear, alerts ping on important dates and PTO balances are accurate. I would say I enjoy working with this software.

Cons

Sometimes I miss the clock in tap on mobile and its hard to find things in the deep menu. There are too few custom fields and the alerts skip when they should not.

Best time tracking app

Pros

I really enjoy how easy it is to move around on the website. Its simple to use, everything is easily accessible and finding tabs is not an issue at all. I like the overall feel of it.

Cons

I have had no issues with Paycor. Everything has been smooth so far and I love how easy it is to use.

Paycor values customer feedback

Pros

Appreciate how they take all our feedback into account and actually take it into account for future. Shows how they value customers. Plus the customer support is always there when we need it.

Cons

The document library should have been improved but I actually think its become more hard to use. Weve given feedback on this issue and look forward to the response.

Appealing brand

Pros

I think Paycor looks attractive and has a solid brand. With proper training that they provide it gets very easy to use and get around.

Cons

I tend to run into quite a few glitches in Paycor's system and finding workarounds can be time consuming. Its frustrating.

Best for events & collaborations

Pros

I've really enjoyed using Paycor especially their resources around DEI. Their tips on how to actually bring DEI into the team culture are practical and easy to follow. It's not just talk, they give real tools and ideas that actually help make meaningful changes.

Cons

The only downside for me is that I sometimes get way too many marketing emails from them but honestly, it's a small trade-off for the value they provide.

User-friendly design

Pros

It's user-friendly. I can easily keep track of all my benefits, view my pay stubs and get my W-2s when tax season comes around.

Cons

I had a trouble navigating the mobile app version. Maybe it was just me but I struggled with it a few times.

Easy to use

Pros

The system is really easy for our employees to use and the look is modern, definitely not that old-school database style.

Cons

I really don't like the lack of support we get. You can ask the same question multiple times but you get different answers and none of them seem to be right.

My experience with Paycor

Pros

It is always updating and making changes to improve things and better serve us which is nice.

Cons

It sometimes closes tickets with no real resolution and that can be really frustrating.

Fine but not great

Pros

It's a decent HRIS system but it does have its flaws. I've been using it for two years, and if I could go back, I'd probably choose something else. In fact we're already looking into replacing it in a year or two. That said I do really like the payroll processing part. The grid is easy to work with and the pre- and post-payroll reports are great.

Cons

Customer service is awful. You have three options for support, call in, create a ticket or chat online and none of them are great. The reps usually don't understand the issue and just want to close the ticket quickly. Plus, if they send you a follow-up question, you only have less than 24 hours to respond before they close the ticket with no solution.

Simplifying HR and payroll

Pros

I really like that all the payroll and HR functions are integrated into one platform. It makes things so much smoother with benefits data automatically flowing into payroll and out to our vendors.

Cons

Their customer support definitely needs some work. Response times are slow and it usually takes multiple follow-ups to get a case fully resolved.

Efficient solution

Pros

The timekeeping functions are really interactive and easy to use even if you've never used the software before. The app is awesome too!

Cons

Reporting isn't as flexible as I'd like it to be. Also, sometimes the support isn't knowledgeable and it takes several attempts to get the answers I need.

Paycor's TAM team is amazing!

Pros

We love how easy the menu navigation is, the level of expertise from the TAM team and how workflows help eliminate all the manual work.

Cons

I wasn't expecting this from customer service. The delays in resolving issues are really frustrating.

Easy setup

Pros

It is a smooth with Paycor and they handle all the heavy lifting. I absolutely love not having to deal with submitting payroll taxes.

Cons

Navigating Paycor after a layout change can be a challenge. Plus, I have to manually change each new hire to the correct time zone which is a simple task but seems like something that could be fixed on the back end.
