“Centralized HR solution”
Pros
Having multiple HR functions in one system makes it really convenient for organizations to manage everything in one place. The mobile app is also a nice advantage since it gives employees a practical and accessible way to handle things on the go.
Cons
It does come with a few downsides, including occasional software bugs somewhat limited customization options and setup can sometimes take longer than expected.

“Amazing payroll features”
Pros
It's payroll tools are the standout feature for me. They make payroll tasks much more manageable and help keep all the important information organized in one central place.
Cons
The platform does feel a bit limited in certain areas and I'd really like to see more features along with better customization options.

“Easy to track employee hours”
Pros
Keeping up with employee time is really simple. We use it to monitor everyone's hours and it does a very effective job of tracking staff time accurately.
Cons
I don't have any real complaints. I enjoy how simple it is and it works as an all-in-one tool for employee management. I just wish every employer used it because anything you need to know about your job is right there in the app.

“Locked out after payment”
Pros
It seemed fine at first but everything changed once they took our money. After that, customer service basically disappeared and I was locked out of their system.
Cons
There was no real customer support, no communication and no sense that they cared at all. They took our money and we still didn't even have access to anything.

“Constantly improving”
Pros
This is a fantastic tool for employee management in an organization that is constantly changing. We're happy with it at this point and it's nice to see the platform continuing to improve and offer more over time.
Cons
The pricing can feel a bit high for small nonprofit organizations although that seems to be the reality now with costs increasing across the board.

“Highly adaptable platform”
Pros
Using it has been very simple and it adapts well to the way our organization operates. We rely on several of the modules and they integrate really well with each other. It's also a big plus that it works with PayActive.
Cons
Every now and then, a glitch comes up and that can be frustrating. That said, when we submit a ticket, the issue is usually resolved quickly, often the very same day.

“Friendly and patient support team”
Pros
The platform is simple to use, payroll runs quickly and accurately and the customer support team is consistently friendly and well-informed.
Cons
With certain tasks in the platform, it feels like you have to repeat the same steps several times just to make a simple update.

“Helpful reporting, rough rollout”
Pros
Custom reporting has been really useful for creating the reports I need and pulling the right analytics. I also appreciate having everything in one system, Applicant Tracking, Onboarding, Compensation, Payroll, Performance Management, Benefit Advisor, LMS and more.
Cons
Using the system can feel complex and from a technology perspective it definitely seems like there's room for improvement. The implementation process was also a frustrating experience. Things improved once the full setup was finally in place but it's worth knowing they may promise a strong implementation experience and then fall short when it actually starts.

“Fast customer support”
Pros
The support they provide is incredible. The chat response is very quick and submitting a ticket is also a fast way to get help. The recruiting module has been useful and the benefit advisor is another feature that adds a lot of value.
Cons
Reporting still needs work especially when it comes to custom report setup and creating reports from scratch. The report builder, in particular, is not something I enjoy using.

“All-in-one tracking platform”
Pros
It gives us plenty of ways to track all kinds of information which makes it really helpful. Having everything together in one platform is a big advantage.
Cons
At times, it isn't very user-friendly and it doesn't always run properly in the browser I prefer. I'm not able to log in through Chrome.

“Responsive staff”
Pros
I really appreciate the customer support. It's usually pretty simple to get someone on the phone and the "help support" chat is especially fast, they respond right away and actually help. Employees also seem happy with how simple the leave management system is, along with their personal self-service portal. Running payroll in it is fairly simple too and there's plenty of support available whenever questions come up.
Cons
Getting everything set up was the worst implementation process I've ever dealt with. Even now, there are still some things that don't work although the features that do work perform the way they should.

“Easy to pull up information”
Pros
Using PTO features and checking paystubs is very simple. It's also simple to search for coworkers and pull up their information when needed.
Cons
Some of the views I need as an HR professional get randomly blocked. There have also been occasional glitches for our frontline team members when they're clocking in.

“Constant glitches”
Pros
Paying extra for premium support has been worth it especially because the regular support from Paycor is so limited. There's a reason people even refer to it as the glitch system.
Cons
Response times are still lacking even with premium support and the glitchy system seems to always be having some kind of issue.

“Decent reporting”
Pros
Compared with ADP, the reporting is better and the system is more user-friendly. We'll also be enabling performance management and benefits soon which should add more value.
Cons
The implementation has been frustrating. It has taken nearly three months just to finish the GL mapping and it felt like there was a new issue to fix every single week.

“Our payroll team is satisfied with it”
Pros
Using the core HR features has been pretty simple and our payroll team seems happy with how the system works especially being able to process individual payments when needed like reimbursements.
Cons
Applicant tracking side could definitely use some work because the approval workflow has too many unnecessary steps. The performance review module would also be better if it allowed more customization.

“Everything consolidated in one system”
Pros
Having all of our HR workflows automated has made the whole process much more efficient. It also helps a lot that everything is consolidated in one system instead of being spread across multiple processes.
Cons

“Outstanding timekeeping and tracking features”
Pros
Managing employees with it is pretty simple and the app is simple for employees to navigate. Timekeeping and tracking features are especially useful and offer a lot of solid functionality.
Cons
Upgrades and enhancements take very long. There's a place to submit improvement ideas but the changes that would really make administrators' jobs easier tend to move very slowly. The chat support also needs improvement since it often lacks knowledgeable experts and the answers are usually inaccurate.

“Exceptional survey features”
Pros
The platform feels user-friendly especially from the employee side. The performance and survey features work well and employees really value being able to log in and review that information whenever they want over time.
Cons
Customer support is a major weak spot. A lot of the reps seem unfamiliar with their own product and getting issues resolved often takes far too long because of the extended wait times.

“Poor support”
Pros
Having the performance management module has been really useful especially because it connects 1:1 meetings with employee reviews. Keeping all of that in one place should go a long way in closing communication gaps.
Cons
Our team is still using the legacy platform and since Paycor's IT team no longer supports it, getting issues resolved has been difficult. When something goes wrong, it's a challenge to find a knowledgeable contact who can actually help fix it.

“Solid value for money”
Pros
Using it has been simple and it offers solid value for the cost. It covers the full HCM suite, including LMS and expense management which has been really helpful for us. Our implementation did hit a few bumps along the way but overall it still went well.
Cons
Since going live, customer support hasn't fully met my expectations. I've run into a couple of issues that weren't resolved easily through chat or phone and the extra follow-up they needed seemed to get lost at times.
