“The most innovative partner”

Pros

as per me Paylocity is the most innovative and adaptable Human Capital management partner available today. They truly stand out from the competition.

Cons

The only issue I have had to manage is that a few users reported disconnections between clock-in and clock-out actions on the mobile app. some of these might have been due to user error or misinterpreting the UI prompts. However we documented some instances and shared them with the team and it seems the issue is now fully resolved.

Pros

It is an excellent tool for payroll management, learning management and employee time tracking all in one, setting up lessons is simple too and users can easily access training. I must say it out performs dedicated Lms solutions like Lessonly by far.

Cons

This tool's community forum is separate from our regular communication channels. It would be better if it could integrate with platforms like Teams or slack, so it's not another place we need to monitor.

Pros

I feel like it is really easy to use for checking my pay stubs, submitting time-off requests and even updating my insurance benefits.

Cons

In the beginning I had to navigate the website to figure out where to find my time-off requests and pay stubs. It is not completely user-friendly but with time and practice, I was able to understand it.

With it, we have significantly reduced the number of systems we use, streamlining the process for employees.

Cons

The lack of syncing between HR & Payroll and Time & attendance creates extra work.

I love that this software allowed us to merge our HRIs and payroll systems. It also integrates with our ATS, benefits admin portal and 401k.

Cons

Navigating the platform can be tricky, everything is kept in separate portals and I noticed it is not easy to access information from employee to employee.

The system is incredibly easy to use and the UI is so user friendly that even beginners can navigate its features with ease!

Cons

Well the desktop experience is sometimes buggy. I often had to log in incognito for the site to work properly.

It is very user-friendly, simple to use and easily accessible. I can instantly track all my hours, paid time off and pay stubs.

Cons

I noticed it is hard to say what I dislike most because I really like the program. However, the one thing I do not like is that I cannot clock in and out using the mobile app.

Paylocity HR & Payroll provides a great employee experience, is easy to navigate and is continually updated to stay ahead of the competition.

Cons

Customer service has been poor from an administrators perspective. There is no direct contact with different departments e.g Tax, Reporting, which leads to a lot of pass the message situations and wasted time. The dedicated customer service teams change frequently so it is hard to build a relationship, also it takes too long to make necessary software changes when issues arise.

It is a powerful system that covers many different aspects of our company.

Cons

A slight annoyance is the lack of connection between different sections. You'll update something in one place, but then have to re-enter it somewhere else because they don't sync up

“Handy tools with a learning curve”

Pros

I find it really easy to use and all the essential tools are available right in the self-service portal. I also love that it automatically sends requests to managers and lets me track the progress of everything in real-time.

Cons

It takes some time to get used to as there is a lot of information. While there is a Tour you can take, most of it is learned through trial and error.

This is a software that allows employees to check their pay information online, which is a huge benefit

Cons

I noticed it can be a bit complicated to navigate the platform and find the information you need at first.

“Dream tool for staff but a maze for reports”

Pros

It is an easy-to-use HR platform that handles most of our company's needs perfectly. Employees can quickly enroll in benefits and view their profiles and personal information without any hassle.

Cons

Payroll and running reports can be tricky. Their reports are not very user-friendly and it is difficult to choose the fields you need for the report. It does not have screen sharing or co-browsing features and their benefits are managed on a separate platform, which is a hassle.

The system's reporting and custom report features are incredibly effective and the compensation module implementation and role management tools work really well for our team.

Cons

I wish they'd given us some advance notice before updating the performance module. The change itself might be fine, but being surprised by it wasn't great.

tbh this tool is very easy for both employees and managers to use. I did not even need to get any training because it's that user-friendly.

Cons

I do not have many complaints but there were a couple of times when duplicate punches were hard to fix, so I just deleted them and re-punched for the day.

This program is very simple and easy to use especially for people with limited tech skills.

There were a few days when the program would not load which made it hard to view previous pay information.

Super easy to use, and it keeps me perfectly informed. I never feel out of the loop

The app is easy to navigate and I find it simple to understand how everything works.

What I like least is that when clocking in and out as it does not always register if there is a weak signal. You can miss the clock-in if the signal is not perfect.

It is a bit difficult to pull the exact hourly pay information for daily reviews. However it provides a good breakdown on a weekly or cycle basis.

It is an easy to use payroll system that makes making adjustments simple and less time taking for us.

Cons

sometimes the app does not offer the same features as the full website.
