Love the simplicity

Pros

Appreciate the simplicity. Training my team of 11 was easy because everything flows logically and makes sense right away.

Cons

I'd say the customization options for performance evaluations could be better particularly when it comes to switching managers around. Other than that honestly can't think of much else that bothers me about it.

well integrated system

Pros

The way everything flows together is fantastic. I can handle recruiting, onboarding, keeping people engaged, reviews, documentation, basically every HR function I need. Since it all integrates well, I never find myself entering the same data multiple times.

Cons

I can't think of anything negative to say right now. Whenever I have questions or want to see new features, their customer service team always has the answers I need.

Saves us a lot of money

Pros

Found it quite user-friendly. We're saving a ton of money compared to other solutions plus their support team is top-tier. It's basically like getting Workday functionality without the massive costs and headaches.

Cons

There isn't a downside. I'm genuinely struggling to find anything negative to say about this platform.

They are always there for us

Pros

Excellent support. I can always reach someone quickly when I need help with questions. This has saved me a lot of time compared to how we used to handle payroll the old-fashioned way.

Cons

The cost runs a little high though it's pretty standard for full-service payroll providers. Other than that,I don't really have major complaints.

Versatile platform but slow frustrating support

Pros

I like how versatile this platform is. It covers so many different functions that work well for mid-sized and larger companies. While some of the settings and filters can be tricky to figure out, overall it's pretty simple.

Cons

Customer service is frustratingly slow to respond, especially when I'm dealing with urgent payroll problems. Communication feels like pulling teeth and some of the support staff don't seem to know the product very well.

Well defined payroll processing

Pros

Payroll processing is clearly structured and easy to follow. I find the online interface really handy for pulling up employee records and making updates when needed for payroll runs.

Cons

Staff training is lacking for associates handling payroll deliveries and once you're no longer a client, there's basically no way to contact anyone at the company for help or to discuss issues.

Best HRIS system I've come across

Pros

The integrated setup makes it smooth to transition candidates from recruitment all the way through to payroll. After three decades in this field, I can honestly say this ranks among the top systems I've seen for handling HRIS functions.

Cons

The data analytics could be smoother. When I set a filter like a date range, it would be great if it carried over to other sections automatically. Right now I have to keep re-entering the same YTD range when moving from turnover to demographics and other areas.

Helpful support but frequent system downtime

Pros

Getting help from support is not difficult either as their team is always accessible when I run into any problems.

Cons

The system frequently goes down or enters maintenance mode during business hours, which is really frustrating. Also, the Witholding Wizard module during onboarding confuses most people. I wish there was a simpler way to complete forms directly instead of having to go through that complicated process.

Easy to find what you're looking for

Pros

I would say it is very user friendly. I can find what I need without getting lost in menus. There are tons of features that organize tasks, especially when it comes to responding to candidates and managing workflows more efficiently.

Cons

Sometimes when I'm organizing people into groups for time and labor tracking, the changes don't stick even after hitting save so I end up having to double-check everything multiple times to make sure it actually went through.

occasional bugs

Pros

All the features work perfectly for what we need at our company. I can knock out payroll so much faster now. It's made the whole process way easier. The mobile app is also really handy to have.

Cons

I've reported several bugs to them over a year ago and they're still not fixed. There's no way I'm the only one dealing with these issues.

Easy to handle payroll

Pros

The payroll process is easy to handle with this system. It's secure giving me exactly what I needed with built-in tools that make payroll day effortless. Customer service responds quickly whenever I reach out.

Cons

Great integration with Employee Navigator

Pros

Appreciate all the different components you can access and the integration with Employee Navigator works perfectly. The applicant tracking feature has been really helpful too, it eliminated the need for maintaining seperate spreadsheets which saved us time.

Cons

I'm not a fan of the Job Target feature that pushes openings to job boards. We get much better results when we post directly to the boards ourselves.

Pros

HR and Payroll under one roof

Pros

Having most of our HR and payroll tech in one place has been really convenient.

Cons

Sometimes we get disconnected between bSwift and Paylocity which is frustrating. The workflow approval process has some restrictions that can be limiting and moving our documents to digital format like job descriptions isn't as smooth as I'd like.

Positive experience of two decades

Pros

I've been using Paylocity for two decades now and the professionalism and customer service have consistently impressed me throughout that time.

Cons

I really wish the Pay Entry section had better filtering. While reports and search fields let you pick multiple Cost Centers, Pay Entry and Batch setup force you to choose just one or everything. Also, Bswift could use more benefit options and it would be great if there was a way to combine data from Payroll and Bswift to generate benefit statements for employees.

Easy to set up projects

Pros

Setting up projects for our team has never been this easy. Everything just clicks into place when you need it. The interface makes execution feel effortless and I've honestly never been more satisfied with any software we've used.

Cons

Sometimes the system can be a bit glitchy like most platforms, though support is always there to help sort things out. Page loading can be pretty slow at times but that might just be my internet connection acting up.

Can't get ahold of anyone

Pros

Once you get the hang of submitting payroll, the process becomes really simple and doesn't take much time at all.

Cons

Getting help when you need it is really frustrating. Can't reach anyone by phone and email responses take way too long.
