“Packed with features, a bumpy setup”

Pros

The interface is user-friendly and it offers great employee engagement tools like shout-outs and surveys. The mobile app is great too and it has strong payroll and compliance tracking, along with decent reporting flexibility.

Cons

The implementation and training process can be a bit rough. It can feel overwhelming with the number of features available. Customer support is also inconsistent and I feel like some areas of the UI still need improvement.

I can run payroll smoothly and generate reports without any issues.

What I like most about it is the ability to easily access my paycheck information directly from the app.

The thing I liked least about it was how often the app would crash.

I think Paylocity is a fantastic management tool for companies and it is really helpful for employees to track timesheets, PTO, sick time, benefits and more.

Well I do not like how the software requires you to change your password so often. I'd prefer a different security measure. I have also had issues trying to clock in at work and being asked to change my password.

“easy to navigate”

Pros

It is very easy to navigate the app once you are logged in.

Cons

We are required to reset our password too frequently which is frustrating.

“Works anywhere but keep an eye on your punches”

The availability of both app and desktop versions is great especially since we have two office locations and sometimes need to switch between buildings.

Cons

It can glitch and not register your punches so you have to double-check yourself. However I noticed there is an option to add a punch if it does not register.

The integration capabilities are solid, and it works well within our system.

It's not the easiest to use, and there's a frustrating lack of internal communication between integrations and different products.

I can't complain. Throughout my five years in my current role, I've never encountered any issues with Paylocity.

I appreciate how easy it was to learn and adapt to Paylocity especially since it's similar to another well known software. The journal entry section is another feature I like.

What I appreciate most about Paylocity is the ability to chat with others easily. It makes communication quick and convenient. It realy helps to keep everyone connected and on the same page.

It's frustrating when I can't find a specific page, and I can't remove people from previous chats, cluttering my view with conversations I can't exit.

Having a "Self Service Payroll" software for employees is incredibly convenient. Being able to monitor my paycheck, download tax forms like W2s during tax season, access my timesheet and request time off is fantastic. I appreciate the peer management feature, where birthdays and years of service are acknowledged. The fact that it's available on the Mobile App is a plus.

Cons

The constant password change requests are my least favorite aspect, although I understand it's for security reasons.

The sign-up and log-in process was pretty straightforward and hassle free. Onboarding went smoothly without any complications.

Many of my employees have commented on how easy the platform is to use and I agree. Setting up and administering new modules is particularly hassle-free, thanks to the great support team.

Sometimes, the abundance of options can be overwhelming. However, for larger companies, these additional options might be essential.

I wish there was more customization available to hide features that aren't being used.
