“Helpful Support Team”
Pros
The regular support they offer has been helpful for our team.
Cons
The system lacks a centralized document library that everyone can access. You can only view documents on an individual employee level, which is pretty limiting.

“Easy to handle payroll”
Pros
The payroll process is easy to handle with this system. It's secure giving me exactly what I needed with built-in tools that make payroll day effortless. Customer service responds quickly whenever I reach out.
Cons
Customization options feel pretty limited. Wish I could build more personalized features to fit our specific workflow needs.

“Great integration with Employee Navigator”
Pros
Appreciate all the different components you can access and the integration with Employee Navigator works perfectly. The applicant tracking feature has been really helpful too, it eliminated the need for maintaining seperate spreadsheets which saved us time.
Cons
I'm not a fan of the Job Target feature that pushes openings to job boards. We get much better results when we post directly to the boards ourselves.

“Gives access to real-time data”
Pros
I can quickly access all the real-time data I need to keep operations running smoothly, which has been a huge help for managing the business day-to-day.
Cons
The pricing structure breaks down costs for every single feature, which can get expensive quickly.

“HR and Payroll under one roof”
Pros
Having most of our HR and payroll tech in one place has been really convenient.
Cons
Sometimes we get disconnected between bSwift and Paylocity which is frustrating. The workflow approval process has some restrictions that can be limiting and moving our documents to digital format like job descriptions isn't as smooth as I'd like.

“Positive experience of two decades”
Pros
I've been using Paylocity for two decades now and the professionalism and customer service have consistently impressed me throughout that time.
Cons
I really wish the Pay Entry section had better filtering. While reports and search fields let you pick multiple Cost Centers, Pay Entry and Batch setup force you to choose just one or everything. Also, Bswift could use more benefit options and it would be great if there was a way to combine data from Payroll and Bswift to generate benefit statements for employees.

“Easy to set up projects”
Pros
Setting up projects for our team has never been this easy. Everything just clicks into place when you need it. The interface makes execution feel effortless and I've honestly never been more satisfied with any software we've used.
Cons
Sometimes the system can be a bit glitchy like most platforms, though support is always there to help sort things out. Page loading can be pretty slow at times but that might just be my internet connection acting up.

“Can't get ahold of anyone”
Pros
Once you get the hang of submitting payroll, the process becomes really simple and doesn't take much time at all.
Cons
Getting help when you need it is really frustrating. Can't reach anyone by phone and email responses take way too long.

“Easy to fix mistakes”
Pros
Really cool how simple it was to fix any mistakes on time cards when employees messed up. Clocking in and out was easy too and the mobile app made everything so convenient to handle on the go!
Cons
It's really difficult to figure out earned time, vacation days and time off calculations. Getting locked out is frustrating because the reset process takes at least 15 minutes every time. Tracking hours becomes a nightmare when your not working a regular schedule. The system struggles to accurately record when you clock in and out.

“Stay away from it”
Pros
The wire request process is handled really well.
Cons
Wait times are absolutely ridiculous. I've spent around 24 hours on hold this past year alone. They promised to file important forms on time but kept me waiting 11 months and when I brought up their mistakes, they just messed up again. The payroll system feels ancient and most of their staff seems to be unavailable. Honestly, I wouldn't wish this experience on anyone except maybe people I really dont like.

“Great range of modules”
Pros
The variety of modules available is amazing and we've been able to add a new one each year since we started using this for our HR needs.
Cons
I wish admins could log in as employees to see exactly what they're looking at. It's really frustrating trying to help someone troubleshoot when you can't see their screen.

“Never gotten a proper response”
Pros
I find the system really friendly. It's organized our processes and offers way more functionality compared to what we had with WFN.
Cons
The customer service has been absolutely terrible. We dont have a dedicated account manager and I've had multiple tickets sitting there for weeks without resolution. When they do respond to service emails, the answers either don't address my actual question or provide completely wrong information. Most replies are just them saying they're forwarding it to someone else for help. Trying to escalate issues is pointless. One manager, Chris Knudsen, might send an email back but forget about getting an actual phone call. We've only been using this for 5 months and we're already looking to switch because the support is just that bad.

“Gamechanging benefits portal”
Pros
Found the benefits portal recently and it's been a game changer. I can update premiums in one spot and it automatically syncs across all employees. Way better than doing each person individually, which was prone to mistakes.
Cons
Mapping sometimes becomes problematic particularly when previous HR staff didn't coordinate effectively with Paylocity regarding code mapping and tracking procedures.

“Comprehensive HRIS modules but slow support and SCORM issues”
Pros
Variety of modules available is amazing. We can use this as a comprehensive HRIS solution. It really helps cut down on demographic errors and creates a smooth experience for new hires, taking them smoothly from applicant tracking through onboarding, learning and payroll.
Cons
Customer support can be slow to respond when we reach out for help. We've been dealing with persistent SCORM video file integration problems in the Learning module which has been really frustrating for both new hires and existing employees.

“Easy to read layout”
Pros
The layout is really well organized and easy to read plus the support team is super friendly and always helps when I have questions.
Cons
The system gets pretty confused whenever I switch someone from hourly to salary or when a salaried employee's pay rate changes mid-period. I always have to double-check everything before I submit to make sure it calculated correctly.

“great support with no extra cost”
Pros
It's ease of use stands out for me. It's good that help and support comes at no additional cost whenever I need it. They also provide extra training opportunities for their products and services which has been valuable.
Cons
Support team is fine overall but when I had a 401k issue that needed resolving, the response time was way too slow. I actually had to get a third party to reach out to someone they knew there just to get it sorted out which shouldn't have been necessary.
