We appreciated the salespersons friendliness and assistance.

Cons

I feel cheated because we were billed for unused services. Despite signing a contract our team admitted to prior use of PlanDay in other roles finding it inadequate. Even after canceling six weeks before the contract began they still charged us for a full year. Our request to discuss with a senior manager was ignored instead they initiated a Direct Debit without consent. This behavior is unacceptable. A better system would have prevented our cancellation.

Best functionality, but what's with the lagging??
Pros

I extensively researched scheduling apps for our restaurant chain and Planday offers the most comprehensive set of functions to meet all our needs.

Cons

Im frustrated with the mobile apps prolonged loading times. Our staff accustomed to swift navigation on their iPhones encounter delays of up to 30 to 45 seconds when launching the app. Although contacting support marginally improved the situation employees still perceive it as excessively slow.

Ive been using Planday for two years and wouldnt trade it for another product. Its accurate userfriendly and handles multitasking well.

Pros

Its incredibly userfriendly with a clear layout that staff members find easy to navigate. The addition of the swap shift feature is excellent.

Cons

The only drawback of this app is that certain features are limited to the desktop website such as requesting holidays.

Pros

The ease of use employee setup interactive communication and visual calendarbased information are all highlights. Grouping employees by job skills for shift assignments is particularly useful.

Cons

Being unexpectedly locked into a yearlong contract with no warning of renewal is frustrating. Some communication methods with employees are cumbersome and increase administrative workload.

Pros

Planday offers many useful features our staff scheduling department appreciates the scheduler and Payroll finds the punch clock beneficial.

Cons

Flexibility is lacking and issues remain unresolved even after eight months. Were unable to use it for payroll due to an unresolved issue within Planday. Customer support is inadequate with prolonged response times and limited communication options. Additionally HR records could include more personal information.

Great Add-On for Practice Mgmt Systems Missing HR Functionality!
Pros

The sales customer service training and tech support teams are outstanding. Planday offers the most userfriendly platform with visually appealing features. The time clock feature syncs seamlessly with QuickBooks and employees appreciate clocking in on their smartphones. The reporting feature is fantastic for tracking attendance and other metrics.

Cons

I wish for additional functionalities and constraints within the scheduling function to streamline processes and prevent errors. It would also be convenient to send invites and messages via SMS without incurring charges for employees without smartphones.

Bespoke Hotels has implemented Planday in 5 hotels. It has been a great success.
Pros

Pros

Its incredibly easy to use for scheduling and vacation planning. Limiting punchclock access to workplace WiFi or location adds an extra layer of control.

I can't say enough about how much I dislike this product. There are constant issues and glitches.
Pros

The scheduling feature is userfriendly and efficient especially with the availability of templates for frequently used schedules.

Cons

The calculation of union time premiums frequent glitches delayed weekly overtime reports and incorrect time zone adjustments are problematic.

Setting up this scheduling software for my staff was relatively straightforward initially and it seemed like a good value.

Cons

This software didnt meet our needs as our staff often collaborates and overlaps tasks in the store making it challenging to use. Staff struggle with requesting time off.

Pros

The app simplifies scheduling organization and is very userfriendly. Once accustomed to Planday youll feel comfortable. Its customization options allow for easy usage of desired features and filtering out unnecessary ones. Communication between all users from staff to management is easily accessible.

Cons

Planday has no major issues. It would be helpful if staff could input their availability over time rather than selecting each day individually on the calendar.

Pros

I like how my employees can efficiently inform me of changes or requests via text or email. The realtime updates to schedules and the ability for offsite employees to clock in are convenient. Setting up and using the program is straightforward and the support has always been topnotch. This software significantly improves my ability to manage staff efficiently.

Cons

Editing vacation requests and schedule changes can still be tedious. I hope this will improve with updates.

Cons

Local WiFi is essential to access all features. A longer trial period would have been beneficial for testing and reviewing data before rollout.

It saves time and streamlines shift changes vacation requests and open shifts management. Putting staff in charge of their schedule management is efficient. The Punch Clock feature is also helpful for managing staff attendance. The customer support is exceptional.

Cons

Staff seeing the schedule in realtime while its being worked on can cause confusion. Ive requested a private area to work on the schedule before publishing it to the staff.

Weve searched for an online scheduling tool for years and PlanDay stands out as the first to offer both employee and management views. The customer service surpasses expectations.

Cons

We have two requests Firstly the ability to block employees in advance from future shifts to prevent accidental scheduling conflicts. Secondly as many of our staff are students wed like the capability to block out portions of certain days for classes to avoid scheduling conflicts.

Cons

Its a bit confusing navigating between the front page and the shift plan page to choose shifts. Initially I thought I had to select shifts from the shift plan page but I found it easier on the front page despite having less visual information.
