Reliable payroll with great support

Pros

Handling employee payroll with Rippling has been very easy. It lets us customize what we need for different groups which is really helpful. Customer support has been excellent and quick whenever we've needed help. It also works really well for employee management, whether it's payroll, vaccine pay or disability-related tasks. I haven't run into any bugs or issues and it definitely feels worth the money.

Cons

At this point nothing has really come up that has bothered me about it. I have been having a very positive experience overall.

user friendly layout

Pros

Everything about it seems very functional and the system is really user friendly. The layout is pretty cool and I also like being connected to workforce management.

Cons

The timecard can be pretty confusing to follow and understand and I don't like how it works whenever you clock out and clock back in.

Custom workflows with payroll flexibility

Pros

Between the integrations with other software, the customized workflows and how simple it is to find what we need, the platform works really well for us. Payroll is easy to manage and flexible enough to match our needs. The employee profiles also make day to day management much easier, along with handling our different leave policies.

Cons

Pricing is a bit higher compared with some other companies. There have also been delays on a few items in their product roadmap but they keep improving the platform and do a really good job of asking customers for feedback which I appreciate.

All our HR needs in one hub

Pros

Rippling covers so many parts of both my role and the company in one place which is what I appreciate most. It lets me track hours, manage payroll, raise concerns, apply for new positions and keep up with improvement plans all through the same system.

Cons

One thing that could be better is the way notifications are organized. I think they should be grouped into three types like ones that need action, ones that are urgent warnings and ones that are simply informational events.

Payroll and HR combined perfectly

Pros

From payroll to everyday HR tasks, this tool has been a huge help. I can handle my vacation requests, keep track of 1:1 meetings and check employee profiles all in one place.

Cons

The app's UX could definitely be better. At times it's hard to find certain information in the mobile app.

Clear layout with big readable fonts

Pros

The interface is very user friendly and the larger font used for the category list makes everything easier to read. The menu also isn't overcrowded so finding the category I need doesn't feel overwhelming.

Cons

A few items were tucked away under other categories which made them a bit harder to locate at first. Once I got more familiar with the site though, it became much simpler to find them.

provide clear task overview

Pros

Its interface is simple to navigate and features like taxation policy details, pay overview, pay breakdown and company-assigned tasks are all really useful.

Cons

There's nothing major to complain about. I only ran into a lag once while opening a task from the company but it started working again after a little hassle.

navigation is not hassle

Pros

Both the admin side and the employee portal have a very user friendly layout so it's simple to move around and use. Everything seems organized enough that finding the information or answers you need doesn't take much effort.

Cons

Getting the EDI set up for the Benefits application can take a while and seems a bit confusing during implementation. Once it's all in place, it works really well but the initial configuration does require preparation and some extra upfront work.

Payroll that simply works

Pros

Everything seems user friendly and simple so pretty much anyone can use it without trouble. We also haven't run into any problems with the payroll services.

Cons

Having quick access to important information has been one of the best parts of using Rippling. The site is dependable, the service stays consistent and updates are delivered promptly which makes the overall experience feel reliable.

Secure and well organized platform

Pros

Across our company it has become the secure system everyone relies on. It's easy to navigate, keeps everything we need in one central place and makes day to day tasks much more manageable. The tutorials built into each tab are especially helpful since they walk you through the steps clearly and show how to use Rippling as effectively as possible.

Cons

Only downside I have run into was a technical issue that temporarily kept us from using the site to clock in and out. After reaching out to tech support though, the problem was resolved pretty quickly.

Great for same-day pay and support

Pros

Everything about it is good such as getting paid on the same day, how simple the platform is to navigate and the fast, helpful responses from the support team.

Cons

There are a few issues that I noticed such as the platform can be slow to load, logging out is sometimes glitchy and the public holiday calendar does not sync properly for international teams.

very simple process for time off

Pros

Submitting forms and requesting time off is a very simple process with Rippling. Also the platform is easy to get around and everything moves quickly without any complicated, unnecessary steps. In short I found it incredibly convenient and user-friendly for these tasks which saved me a lot of time and hassle.

Cons

My main uses are for submitting time-off requests and forms and for these tasks, I have not run into any problems or found anything I dislike. The whole process has been very smooth for me.

Easy to use with great support

Pros

Affordable benefits and compliance confidence

Pros

The affordable rates we get for our employee benefits, plus the confidence that we are always staying compliant with regulations is something I like a lot about it.

Cons

One thing I noticed is that the onboarding process involves a significant number of steps to complete. Though the team guiding us was excellent but the volume of tasks was just very high.

Fantastic integration for core business goals

Pros

We have integrated nearly every product Rippling offers over the years. It's fantastic because it lets us focus on our core business goals. My only wish is that they would add a tool for creating and sending customer invoices. Our initial setup for the PEO service was exceptionally smooth and made a huge positive impact.

Cons

At first getting help was a bit difficult, especially for payroll. Maybe because I was used to QuickBooks where you could just call a number. But Rippling has since added a very effective AI assistant for initial support and you can get a live agent instantly just by asking for one. So while I am fine with it now, I understand why people who prefer calling might see it as a drawback.

The best system for daily clocking in

Pros

I have used several other services like Payoneer, Deel and AirTM, but my experience with Rippling has been the best by far. The system is very easy to use and I can handle all my tasks without any problems from either my phone or my computer. I use it every single day to clock in and out without a hitch.

Cons

As per me adding a feature for employees to request a cash advance would be a great improvement compared to other systems.

Extremely simple and clear to use

Pros

What I love most is how extremely simple and clear Rippling is to use. Plus the user-friendly design makes the whole experience pleasant. It streamlines getting paid perfectly, offering choices that fit my specific situation. The layout is also very smart and the sections for paid time off and payroll are incredibly helpful. The contractor hub also gives me all the details I need to ensure everything runs smoothly.

Cons

I'd prefer a different color scheme. Such as a blue interface would be nicer than the current brown tones.

Perfect for remote and global companies

Pros

Rippling HR is really simple to use and perfect for a remote work setup. Also it is extremely useful for global companies that need to manage payroll and HR services. I use it every week and have now used it at two different companies. I also really like that it can send the payroll funds directly to my local dollar account. To be honest I have not had a reason to try out the customer support yet.

Cons

It does take some time to get familiar with the system and configure your account properly but I guess thats just a normal part of getting started with any new software.
