covers all HR and payroll needs

Pros

Having HR, payroll, IT and benefits tied together in a single dashboard is genuinely impressive. Bringing new employees onboard now takes minutes instead of days and the interface is clean and user friendly for both admins and employees.

Cons

One downside is that platform updates often arrive with very little advance notice or supporting documentation so admins can get caught off guard when familiar workflows suddenly change.

Easy onboarding with simple time-off requests

Pros

Submitting a day off request is very easy. I never ran into any problems and getting myself set up as a new hire was simple because the platform felt very user friendly from the start.

Cons

At one point I misplaced my login credentials but that was my own mistake. Thankfully, I had saved the recovery keys so I was able to regain access without much trouble.

A central hub for all employee needs

Pros

Having everything tied together in one place has made this really convenient as an employee. My paystubs, tax forms, PTO balance, benefits and personal details are all in the same app so I am not digging through old emails or reaching out to HR just to find something basic. The mobile app has been surprisingly amazing too. I can put in a time off request, review my pay before it lands in my account and update direct deposit from my phone in well under a minute. Getting set up when I joined was also the best onboarding process I have had. I completed my paperwork, entered direct deposit, chose my benefits and had all my logins ready before day one. No printing, no scanning and no running around trying to track people down.

Cons

In the beginning the hardest part was really just figuring out how much the platform could do. There are a lot of modules and settings so it took a few weeks to understand which features we actually needed and how to set them up for our practice. Some of the more advanced reporting also takes custom report building instead of just using a ready made template which becomes very useful once you get the hang of it but seems a little overwhelming at first. I would also like to see a few more integrations tailored to healthcare although the options currently available have still worked well for us.

Simple menus that are easy to navigate

Pros

Using Rippling is very easy and hassle free. The navigation features make it simple to locate the information I need without much effort.

Cons

As with any new system, it took a bit of time to explore and figure out where everything was. That said, the search tools were helpful in finding what I needed.

Reliable money transfers

Pros

The platform is very simple to use, even without much technical knowledge. The interface is clear enough for everyday use and completing transactions doesn't take much effort. I also value the fact that I have never run into problems when sending or receiving money which makes the platform feel dependable and gives me peace of mind every time I use it.

Cons

The UI isn't my favorite because it can feel a bit overwhelming especially when using it for the first time. There are a lot of options on the screen at once which can make navigation confusing and make it harder to tell where to go. It does get easier over time but a cleaner and more guided layout would make things much better for beginners.

Friendly and completely hassle-free

Pros

Rippling has been very user friendly and I really enjoy the casual tone in its emails. It seems far more approachable than other systems I have worked with before.

Cons

I honestly don't have any complaints. It was easy to set up and even as I have continued using it for different needs over time, I haven't run into any issues.

Flexible schedules with clear org charts

Pros

One thing that's been really helpful is how simple the scheduling setup is. Changing break times and clock-in times takes very little effort and the organization chart is another feature my team relies on constantly to see who the right point of contact is for different departments.

Cons

There really haven't been many bugs that I have noticed. The only issue I have run into is that a few tasks have remained marked as incomplete even after they were done, though that may be related to how the company configured the course rather than the software itself.

Access everything fast from anywhere

Pros

I was able to use it without much of a hassle as it takes very little time to use. I can sign in from my phone or just open it directly from the link in my email which is really convenient.

Cons

I do wish there were a way to connect it directly to my email as a tab add-on. Also, the confirmation step when resubmitting a password can be a bit slow at times.

Payroll and time-off combined seamlessly

Pros

Rippling has been really easy to use and the app does a nice job helping employees keep up with payroll, PTO and other day to day details in one place.

Cons

One part that could be better is the reimbursement process since the dropdown menus feel excessive and aren't always very clear when submitting an expense.

Pros

Everything is in one place and the platform is easy to navigate. It's helpful having separate sections where I can quickly check things like payroll, PTO and other HR-related details.

Cons

Great for payroll and time-off tracking

Pros

Rippling's employee payroll and time-off features have been the biggest highlight for me. They work extremely well and have been really helpful overall.

Cons

Tools I depend on every single day

Pros

Having everything I need in one place has been a big plus such as clocking in and out, checking pay stubs, requesting time off and pulling up important documents like invoices. The layout is clean and simple to navigate so I never have to waste time searching for anything.

Cons

One inconvenience is that I used to be able to access it on my phone and now I cannot. I am not sure what changed but having mobile access again would make it a lot more convenient.

Automation that saves us hours of work

Pros

One of the biggest wins with Rippling is how unmatched the automation seems. Handling payroll software provisioning and even hardware shipping from one single action cuts out hours of manual work. I also really appreciate how data stays synced across every module so we are not entering the same information over and over again. That alone has made a huge difference in reducing human error.

Cons

Because the platform includes so many features, getting started can feel a little overwhelming especially for smaller teams. The learning curve at the beginning is definitely a bit steep. On top of that the modular pricing can become expensive fairly quickly if you need several specialized add-ons so it's important to look closely at which features actually make sense for your current business size.

One spot for all our login needs

Pros

Having everything in one place saves me a lot of time when logging in. Keeping track of every email and password is tough so this solves that problem by giving me access to all my apps from a single spot.

Cons

The frustrating part is that it logs me out every day so I have to spend time getting back in again. MFA is also repeated daily and since it's still me using it, I don't understand why I need to log in every single day.

HR and payroll done right

Pros

Rippling has been a big plus because it combines payroll, HR, benefits, onboarding and device management in one user friendly platform. The automation tools cut down a lot of manual work and save us a meaningful amount of time. It's also easy enough that both employees and admins can get comfortable with it pretty quickly. Another thing we really appreciate is how well onboarding and employee management went which makes everyday operations much more efficient.

Cons

One downside is that some of the more advanced features take a while to fully understand especially when it comes to customizing workflows or adjusting settings. Even though the platform is generally user friendly, there is still a bit of a learning curve when you start digging into everything it can do.

Strong automation with helpful support

Pros

Rippling has been really useful for our core HR work especially when it comes to automation. It handles repetitive tasks like sending offer letters and documents without much effort which has been a big improvement for us. Before this, sending offer letters, NDAs and onboarding materials was completely manual. Their customer support has also been responsive and helpful whenever needed. On top of that Rippling makes it much easier to keep employee data organized and it simplifies onboarding, time-off tracking and attendance management.

Cons

The Slack integration still seems pretty limited right now. I'd really like it to automatically alert managers in Slack whenever someone submits a time-off request. We ended up creating a custom integration ourselves as a workaround. The initial setup can also be a little challenging although it does pay off in the end.

Clean layout with quick navigation

Pros

The interface looks professional and getting around the platform is pretty easy. The way the icons are organized also makes it simple to locate the information I need.

Cons

a smooth transition

Pros

Getting time- off approvals through email without having to log in has been really convenient. The employee management settings are well organized and setting things up for every employee was easy. Moving over from our previous platform also felt hassle free.

Cons

At this point I haven't come across anything I particularly dislike. Benefits are clearly listed and easy to access.
