“Payroll headaches with zero support”
Pros
At the beginning, their sales team and customer support were responsive and helpful while they were trying to win our business. Unfortunately, that was the only part of the experience that went well.
Cons
Since 2022, we've been using it as our all in one HR and payroll platform and the experience has been a complete nightmare. The payroll system cannot even handle very basic exemptions tied to certain qualifications and they've billed us more than $2,000 in fees over missing tax agency accounts that we were never supposed to set up in the first place. We've spent over six months trying to get this fixed, only to run into AI-generated replies and closed cases without any real resolution. Once they have your contract and your money, their customer service becomes absolutely terrible. On top of that they've been using our employees profiles to send sales pitches to their personal email addresses. I'd strongly recommend staying away.

Payroll and tax are easy to use as it just needs a small workaround when handling time off.

It is very user friendly and gives you a lot of flexibility. You can set up custom fields for almost anything you need which makes it highly customizable.
Cons
One area that still needs work is the travel spend platform. Our employees have run into freezing issues when uploading receipts. That said, the team has been proactive about taking the needed steps to address the problem.

Navigating through the different sections is very easy and the platform is simple to use overall. It responds quickly without freezing or taking a long time to load and the whole experience seems user friendly.
Cons

Pros
Everything felt very user friendly right away so getting around the platform didn't take much time at all. The navigation was also not a hassle and was simple to understand which meant I didn't have to spend forever learning how to use it. I also really liked having a supported app version available.
Cons
There were times when it loaded a bit slowly and it would sometimes ask me to log in multiple times during the day. That said, when it comes to the repeated logins, I'd still rather have that extra security for my information than not.

Working as an HR Generalist, Rippling has completely changed how I handle my role and support the business. It has cut down on basic human error, made the entire onboarding process more efficient from start to finish and strengthened our overall compliance across both Accounting and HR. It also gives employees a single platform where they can manage their benefits, understand their pay, make updates during QLEs and feel more confident about their benefits, equity, offers and payroll. It also integrates with Culture Amp which we use for employee engagement and Slack but the part I like most is how simple it is to use and implement.
Cons
One thing I'd still like to see is better guidance around spotting potential issues ahead of time, along with more admin education so problems can be prevented before they happen.

Right out of the gate, it covered pretty much everything I need from an HR platform and it didn't take long to get up and running. The full feature set is there too such as PTO requests, payroll, taxes, onboarding, benefits and basically all the core HR functions you'd expect. Still my cons explain better how it actually feels to use day to day.
Cons
Compared with other HR systems I have worked with, this one is missing the more modern look and overall feel. The interface comes across as outdated, almost like it was built years ago and never really refreshed.

Navigating Rippling is very easy. Looking up people I supervise is simple and the app works really well too. I can also check my benefits balance whenever I need to which is proven very helpful.
Cons
