Clear interface with simple transition

The interface is easy to use, the information is presented clearly and the transition process was simple.

All payroll and benefits together

Pros

easy to use and covers everything I need to manage workplace payroll, vacation time and benefits in one place.

Cons

Support for third-party applications, like elevateaccounts.com, can sometimes take as long as 24 hours. Usually my employer's HR team has to reach out to IT and then the third-party app's support so it would be much better to have an online chat option where I could troubleshoot directly with a support person.

A user friendly payroll and contractor hub

Pros

Navigating Rippling has not been a problem for me. The layout makes sense and it's simple to understand what each feature is for, whether I am checking my pay, using the Contractor Hub or exploring other tools in the platform.

Cons

One area that could definitely be better is the pay transfer to a bank account. I'd really like to see improvements in the bank setup process especially with clearer instructions in the Contractor Hub or across the platform in general. For someone new to freelancing or new to the tool, setting up a bank account can take quite a bit of time and feel confusing.

user friendly from day one

Pros

This is very easy to use. I am not especially technical but I was able to understand how everything worked right from the beginning without any trouble.

Cons

The way PTO is separated seems a bit awkward although it's still usable. It might be more user friendly if the layout were displayed horizontally.

Flexible payroll options

Pros

Its payroll setup offers a lot of flexibility and customization which has been really useful for our needs, even though I haven't used the other benefits it offers.

Cons

Getting started was a bit complicated and it took some time to learn although it became much easier once I got more familiar with it. The monthly cost is also a little higher compared to some other competitors.

Pros

Rippling really shines when it comes to organizing operations for small to mid sized companies especially remote teams and businesses that want HR and IT managed together in one platform.

Cons

Although it integrates with a lot of well-known apps, companies that rely on niche or industry-specific software may feel the integration choices are a bit limited.

Human-centered break reminders

Pros

One thing that really stands out is how human-centered the design feels. If an employee accidentally skips a break and doesn't give a reason, Rippling triggers a pilot check and asks whether they actually took a break or not. That kind of thoughtful follow-up feels very considerate.

Cons

At this point I haven't run into any issues with it.

simple navigation with quick access

Pros

Right away I find the platform very easy to navigate. I have been able to find everything I have needed without any trouble.

Cons

One thing I'd still like to see, unless I have simply missed it, is the ability to view how many PTO hours are remaining while submitting a time-off request. At the moment, it seems like that information only appears after the time has already passed.

A complete HR and payroll hub

Pros

Having everything in one platform really helps such as HR, IT, payroll, absences, calendar, approvals, hikes, tasks and more are all in one place. The interface is user friendly especially with the multiple tabs that make it simple to move around and the automation features save a lot of time on routine processes.

Cons

The mobile app still has some limitations and logging in requires an authenticator PIN which can feel a bit inconvenient at times. Customization options are also fairly minimal.
