Customizable but sync is not smooth

Pros

how customizable the setup is and all the different reports it can produce. When I'm monitoring staff hours or managing invoices for clients, it handles everything I require very well.

Cons

The QuickBooks Online synchronization isn't completely smooth at the moment, although I did value being informed about this restriction ahead of time.

Perfect for compliance tracking

Pros

I rely heavily on the compliance tracking , it's been indispensable for keeping us compliant with regulations and I really appreciate that it goes well beyond simple time logging to handle expenses, mileage and project organization. Whenever I've needed assistance, customer support has been exceptional. Overall, it's a reliable solution that fulfills all of our requirements.

Cons

I can't come up with a single fault with this time-tracking solution. I genuinely have no complaints.

Simple reporting, printing is a pain

Pros

I genuinely like how simple it is to move through the system, and the reporting tools reliably deliver the information I need for my work.

Cons

Printing timesheets without the break deductions is a real pain for me , it requires far more steps and time than it should to produce what ought to be a basic report.

Perfect for remote team and admin

Pros

What grabbed my attention was the web-based setup because my remote team needed something accessible from home which surprisingly is hard to come by. Each employee gets a simple link where they just tap or click to clock in and out and they can look at their own timecard without being able to change anything. Any edits have to be sent to me as requests, so I stay in control of adjustments and it keeps things secure. In my admin role, I like how interactive the interface is while still letting me configure detailed settings and run thorough reports. My folks on flexible schedules can easily spread a 40-hour week over four or five days without any issue. When someone forgets to punch in or out, the adjustment-request workflow handles it cleanly. Entering holidays, vacation time and PTO is also very simple. When payroll arrives, I close the pay period, export records to PDF and then move the hours into Intuit Online Payroll to process direct deposits. Everything remains digital , no need to print anything. Customer support has been top-notch whenever I've called or used the chat, they respond quickly and give accurate help.

Cons

I honestly can't think of any downsides right now, it performs exactly as I require and meets my needs.

Great across devices but uploads need help

Pros

I can't come up with anything I actively dislike about it. If I had to point to a minor problem, it would be having simple access to everything across devices whether I'm working on my laptop, using a tablet or checking things on my phone.

Cons

I am frustrated that I can't bulk-upload vendors, accounts and other records without assistance, that limitation adds friction. I'd much prefer a native mobile app rather than relying on the mobile site. Also, the subscription feels pricey even when I consider all the features I might use.

good tool but no customization

Pros

Being able to upload attachments for expense reimbursement requests is something I really value. it is inexpensive and very simple to use, roll out and keep running. I also find it handy that reports are exportable in several formats which comes in useful when I need different layouts for various reporting tasks. On top of that, the user guides make training new staff much easier which saves me time.

Cons

The product's limitations can be quite aggravating at times. For example, there is literally no room for customization, which I find really frustrating. It also forces you to upload images as JPEGs instead of accepting PDFs and that's a issue because most e-receipts I receive are PDFs. To make things better, I would love to see General Ledger integration added since that would greatly align our accounting workflows.

Awsome support and simple to use

Pros

I was impressed by the customer support, my onboarding specialist researched our business in advance and knew exactly what would work for us. She walked me through everything and provided training materials for my team. The interface is simple to use and it has changed how we organize operations. This tool is great for streamlining time tracking and making labor costs versus project billing clearer.

Cons

There isn't anything about this software bothering me, it works well overall.

Top choice for team and price

Pros

For our team it is super easy to learn and use , everyone picked it up quickly and feels at ease. The built-in timesheets have been especially helpful, my coworkers can instantly see how much PTO they have and can submit time-off requests without any difficulty. What I value most is the pay-as-you-grow pricing that adjusts with our headcount, so I don't feel like we're paying for features we don't need.

Cons

I find exporting data into our accounting system requires more steps than I'd like, although it works fine once completed. Changing records could be more user-friendly , the process isn't hard, but the guidance is vague. I've ended up making mistakes that took extra edits to correct which gets annoying when I am trying to move quickly.

Interactive and simple with great support

Pros

I am comfortable with the layout because the interface feels very interactive and simple to move around. Also, when I need assistance there's actually a real person I can reach out to , the support staff are warm, helpful and respond quickly to my questions.

Cons

I haven't faced any problems so far, everything has been clear, smooth and easy to find while I'm using it.

Easy to start but bad reports

Pros

getting this set up is surprisingly easy, and I barely needed any training to get started. The interface felt interactive right from the very beginning.

Cons

When it comes to reporting, I think the tools could use a lot of work. They're not flexible enough, so I often end up exporting the data as plain text files and manipulating it outside the app to get the reports I want. It would really help if I could select which fields to export beforehand.

simple to use but was buggy at first

Pros

I've found the interface incredibly simple to use and I can move through everything without any issue. Managing my team's schedules remotely from home has been a real convenience for me.

Cons

At first I hit some bumpy patches where parts of it simply wouldn't function correctly. It's gotten better now, but there were definitely some frustrating episodes when it would act up unexpectedly.

Very efficinet solution!

Pros

Our team finds this tool very easy to use. Both my teammates and our admins can swiftly record hours and keep track of project time without running into any complications.

Cons

Every now and then I have trouble finding particular reports, so I end up combing through multiple parts of the system just to locate the information I need.

My experience with this tool

Pros

Over the last decade I've watched this company grow and improve, and it's been a great experience being part of that journey. The team truly wants to fix whatever problems I bring their way. My staff and I both find the user interface really easy to get around, and whenever we need help their support crew is consistently excellent.

Cons

Would be great if work anniversary notifications were automatically sent to our admin team. We currently update PTO manually when those dates come up, so getting automatic reminders would save time and make adjusting leave balances much more efficient.

Great for remote sign in

Pros

I appreciate that my team is able to sign in from any location to record their work hours , it makes remote work so much more convenient.

Cons

I'm unable to figure out how to delete entries from employees' positions and that gets really frustrating when I have to tidy up records.

Easy to use with no Gusto connect

Pros

the interface is really user friendly and makes everything simple to use. I didn't need to spend much time learning the system.

Cons

I find it annoying that it doesn't integrate with widely used timesheet providers such as Gusto, particularly given that so many competing payroll platforms already offer those connections.

Simple to monitor team!

Pros

I find it simple to monitor how my team is performing and to make sure everyone stays accountable for their tasks.

Cons

I haven't taken the time to explore all of its features thoroughly to truly unlock everything it can offer. Although I've used it sporadically, other demands keep pulling my focus away, so I'm probably not leveraging it to its full potential yet.

Excellent customer support

Pros

I'm really impressed by how easy it is to find everything and how clear the reports are to read. Whenever I run into an issue, I can pick up the phone and their support team answers quickly and is always ready to help.

Flexible but expensive to customize

Pros

The configuration options are super flexible, so I can tailor pretty much everything to handle our payroll. The layout is clear and simple to pick up without extensive training.

Cons

UI were more customizable but they lock personalization behind paid add-ons and it ends up being quite expensive.

Simple system but hard PTO

Pros

the whole system keeps things really simple and creating reports is easy and fast. I can have my team update or tweak entries whenever they need to without any trouble.

Cons

I wish viewing vacation and PTO details were more simple , I'd like to be able to see that information directly on the employee's profile instead of having to go to a separate screen.
