“A bit let down by the recruiting module
Pros
For the most part, this app is user-friendly and I have no trouble finding my way around. Once set up, it works quite easily though I found the recruiting module to be quite basic so we had to switch to another vendor for that.
Cons
The recruiting module didn't meet expectations and the talent management feature is just okay. I've used better systems but it might be the way it's set up that's affecting it.

“reliable for daily time tracking needs
Pros
checking in and out is not a problem and the website is not difficult to handle either.
Cons
My main issues are reliability and clarity. The website sometimes crashes at the worst moments, and the 15-minute time blocks can be confusing to track correctly, it's not always clear how they're calculated.

“Brings everything together for me
Pros
What stands out to me about UKG Pro is how it brings everything together including my schedule, timecard and vacation days, all while keeping track of key employee info.
Cons
Since I work in social services, my job can be unpredictable so I'm often away from my desk. The punch card system is usually accurate but sometimes it's hard to match up my entries.

“Highly customizable HR solution
Pros
The thing I like the most is that it is highly customizable and it also offers solid reporting and analytics tools.
Cons
The Succession planning module has been the most difficult for me. Part of it is because it's underused but mainly because it doesn't meet the expectations of leadership. It's not very adaptable.

Fits our needs perfectly. It's an all-in-one platform that covers everything from HR to payroll, learning, performance management, recruitment and more. Though no HRIS is perfect for everyone, UKG Pro checks a lot of boxes and has been brilliant for our team as we've grown over the past six years.
Cons
After the merge between Ultimate and Kronos, I've noticed the service and support model hasn't improved as much as promised. Some modules need to be updated and improved and the UI/UX still feels messy at times.

“Top-notch customer service
Pros
Their customer service team is excellent. They have been able to deliver service that most can't. They really listen, ask the right questions, offer clear answers and follow up effectively. This is what sets them apart.
Cons
When Ultimate and Kronos integrated, there were a lot of problems. But after the new leadership came in, they managed to resolve the issues quickly and get things moving.

I love how the reporting feature works. Being able to store and manage all our HR data in one place really helps make things run smoothly.
Cons
As much as I like this software, I think the customer service could be more responsive. It would be amazing if they integrated the recruiting data with the document manager.

“Perfect for handling HR and payroll needs

UKG Pro has been great for handling all our HR and payroll in one place. It's surprisingly easy to use, and the reporting features are fantastic, hey give us really useful insights. I also love how customizable it is, we've been able to set up workflows and alerts that fit our business perfectly.
Cons
Some older parts of the system still run on a separate 'Back Office' application that feels clunky and complicated compared to the main UKG Pro interface. The good news is they're planning to phase this out soon, which will make the system even better.

What stands out for me is how it simplifies complex HR and payroll tasks into one easy-to-use platform. The self-service features let employees manage their own info and the solid reporting and analytics tools provide real-time insights for managers, improving overall efficiency.
Cons
It's a solid platform but few tasks can be difficult for regular users. I often had to rely on admin help or customer service for certain tasks.

Customer service has definitely gotten worse over the years. The decline began after the Kronos merger and I still haven't seen improvements that I would expect by now.

One of the best things about UKG Pro is its clear and logical interface. It combines HR, payroll and workforce management into one system, which makes everything more efficient.
Cons
The date filter sometimes doesn't work correctly when searching for forms. If I click 'show all', it eventually displays all the reviews, but it's not always reliable.

Cons

I appreciate how easy it is to manage timesheets and time-off requests. You can even submit multiple entries for all employees at once, which is a huge time-saver.
Cons
It bothers me that the employee list isn't automatically sorted alphabetically. Every time I check the list, I have to manually adjust it.
