“My favorite payroll system

Pros

Hands down, this is my favorite payroll system I've ever worked with. It's so easy to pull up any employee information I need, and I have to say,it's actually fun to use, which is something I never thought I'd say about a payroll platform

Cons

Our employees had frequent trouble accessing the mobile app and restoring their access took a bit of time.

Pros

This is the safest payroll system I've worked with across multiple companies. There was a tutorial to get started and after a bit of time, it became relatively easy to use. While I'm not sure of the exact cost, everything, including hours is available in one place.

Cons

The app felt a bit complicated compared to others I've tried. It took some getting used to and you can't just log in with a username and password. You also need company details and an identifier.

“Smooth experience for end users

Pros

It brings together everything an HR & recruitment team needs, from onboarding to benefits, payroll and time-off management. The experience for end users is smooth and I found it really easy to use. Plus, it helps automate onboarding with a low-code solution.

Cons

It took a while to fully understand how to make the most of all the features, especially since the mobile app doesn't offer much beyond booking paid time off. It's quite limited.

its awesome for keeping track of time cards, submitting time-off requests and reviewing your time sheets. It really helps me organize things.

would have been great if it was a little less complex and had automatic alerts when it's time to approve the current pay period.

Pros

Appreciate how the app and website are laid out. The interface is neat and the job recruiting page is well-organized with clearly displayed tiles.

Cons

The app is designed well but I've had trouble getting my paystubs and PTO to load. It never seems to show up when I need it.

Pros

What I like about it is how everything I need is right there on the website from pay stubs to W2s, bereavement forms, volunteer PTO and even the handbook. It's all available in one spot.

Cons

I honestly don't have anything bad to say. I really love the software and I haven't found anything wrong with it. It works great for me.

Pros

I like the time and attendance system! Having all our people operations tools in one place is so important.

Cons

Their applicant tracking system is nowhere near as good as the stand-alone ATS products. It doesn't really compare.

“Reminds me of ADP

Pros

UKG reminds me a lot of ADP. I can see my timecard, PTO/SICK time balance and work schedule. I enjoy using it.

Cons

The only issue I've faced is that I can't see my pay or paystubs so I have to log into a separate portal to check those. I wish everything could be done in one place.

Pros

I really like the app's clean and simple look. It feels modern and uncluttered, which makes it nice to work with.

Cons

But honestly, actually finding your way around can be tricky. There are so many pop-up windows and layers that it starts to feel like a maze. The simple design is great until you need to get something done quickly.

Pros

First off, the logo is great! It is a thorough payroll application. I mainly used it for timekeeping and pulling all my payroll and time-off data.

Cons

Slow uploads and delays weren't really UKG Pro's fault but more my internet connection. It was often frustratingly slow to get the app up and running.

“Gives me control over my schedule

Pros

I value having more control over my schedule including both worked and scheduled hours. The updates are fast and my payslips are more accurate now. As a manager, processing requests and creating long-term schedules has become a lot quicker and easier with UKG.

Cons

The app kept logging me out frequently even after enabling facial recognition for login. Even if I was just switching between apps or locking my phone for a few seconds. It was annoying.

Its great how everything is so easy to access. I can view my PTO, points, teammates and even who my supervisor is right on the same page.

Cons

Sometimes there are no automated updates for the PTO section and we end up having to manually adjust it. It's not a huge problem but it can get annoying at times.

I find it really simple to check my schedule and clock in. The interface is user-friendly which makes the whole experience easy and efficient.

Cons

The long password requirement can be a bit of a pain. It's necessary for security but it does get tedious to remember and enter every time.

What I really enjoy is how everything is easily tracked in UKG. It helps me run a smooth business, from managing payroll to keeping everything else organized.

Cons

Nothing negative at all. UKG Pro has everything I need to run my business smoothly. I use it every week and it's perfect for my needs.

This product was really helpful for managing all the HR tasks. It was easy to use and got the job done.

In my view, the user interface looked a bit basic. It was functional but it could use a little more flair to make it more appealing while keeping things simple.

scheduling took me a little time to figure out, especially if you're a beginner but once I got the hang of it, it was fine.

Pros

Clocking in and out is simple for me and it's quick to access pay stubs and other important documents.

Cons

At times the app lags a bit when clocking in. It occasionally registers a time a minute later than I pressed it but it's easy to fix any errors once it happens.

It is a solid timekeeping tool. It works great and serves all my needs perfectly.

I like how all the key information is displayed right on the homepage making it super easy to access everything I need at a glance.

Cons

Time off section could be a bit more detailed. It's decent as is, but I think it could be a little more simplified to make it easier to use.
