Customizable and fits us well

Pros

the software is very flexible and it fits smoothly into our current setup. After moving away from our old HR platform and putting together an ATS in-house recently, this solution has turned out to be just what we were looking for. Although we haven't gone live yet, the sandbox trials and test runs have demonstrated it meets our needs perfectly.

Cons

Right now I'm happy because it seems to cover everything we needed. We evaluated a few other vendors and this one ticked all our boxes. Once we officially launch and spend more time using it day-to-day, I'll be in a better position to identify any small adjustments or refinements that might be necessary.

excellent for tracking time and perks

Pros

I am happy I can see all my timesheets and vacation days together in one single place now.

Cons

Sometimes the site times out between page switches which I find pretty frustrating.

Sees everything but not efficient

Pros

I really like being able to access my pay, time off and benefits details all together in one handy place.

Cons

the fact there aren't distinct clock-in and clock-out buttons is very frustrating because it creates confusion and often forces other people to do extra work to straighten things out.

My go to tool

Pros

Having everything consolidated in a single place makes my life a lot easier , I can log my hours, sign up for professional development courses, check my benefits and more. Since I'm on the department's hiring committee, I also find it incredibly handy that I can review candidate applications here without switching between multiple platforms or systems.

Cons

I can't change the color theme , I'm big on customizing my workspace to feel more personal. Beyond that one con, I honestly don't have any complaints because everything I need is available in one place which makes using the system simple.

Clear & User-Friendly Interface

Pros

I find the layout very user friendly and moving through the app feels completely natural. When I compare it with other platforms I've worked with before, this one is far more user-friendly and noticeably more simple to operate.

Cons

the interface is bogged down with too many irrelevant choices and I can't find any filtering option to hide the things I don't want.

Poor polish and functionality issues

Pros

The staff directory and organizational chart are very useful when I'm running a growing, mid-sized company.

Cons

there are a lot of aspects of this platform that annoy me. Before, we relied on Zenefits for handling PTO and the transition has been a real pain. My team can't easily locate their exact hours without navigating through several screens. It's frustratingly simple to pick the wrong approver for time entries and those approvers often don't receive any notification. The whole alert system seems unreliable. To me, it feels like the engineers abandoned the project partway through development and it's disappointing.

easy to track time

Pros

what I appreciate most is how simple it is to get to everything and locate the details I need. I can pull up my vacation balance, sick leave and personal days any time without bugging HR or a manager. The platform refreshes itself with every pay cycle so I'm looking at up-to-date totals whenever I check it.

Cons

The PTO balances take forever to refresh at the start of each year , mine still lists a 2016 reset date even though that's long gone. There's also this 'estimated through plan' field in the PTO area that totally confuses me. When I try the help link it only throws up vague boilerplate about employee paid-time-off benefit plans and it doesn't actually clarify how the numbers are calculated or what they mean.

simple and clear to use

Pros

everything feels smooth and really easy to use. I find the overall user experience thoughtfully designed and it genuinely aligns my everyday tasks.

Good tools with some difficulties

Pros

For our distributed team, the In/Out board makes it much easier for me to monitor who's available since we aren't all in the same office. I also think their recruitment gateway represents a major upgrade compared to our previous system.

Cons

I find that logging and managing detailed time entries can be pretty difficult at times and the recruitment portal feels clunky , its awkward navigation patterns introduce delays that slow down our workflow.

excellent HR Time Tracking Solution

Pros

I am grateful for how adaptable it is when I request time off and log my hours. Having everything visible in a single place from my accrued PTO to benefits and performance evaluations is very handy.

Cons

the time clock connection doesn't consistently record when I clock in or out, although that may not be an issue with the software itself.

everything at one place?

Pros

One thing I really value is how all-encompassing this platform is , I can do almost everything from a single dashboard. It truly acts as a one-stop destination for all my HR needs. From submitting and tracking PTO, to accessing W-2 details, checking pay stubs and managing performance reviews in the same place, it makes my daily workflow much smoother. Having everything centralized clearly enhances overall usability.

Cons

the interface feels a bit plain and many screens look similar without clear visual distinctions. This can make it hard to distinguish between different pages

easy login, no time cards

Pros

Having the single sign-on feature is a game-changer, logging in used to be a pain before this update. The navigation's really interactive and I like that it keeps all my employee details together.

Cons

I wish it could also manage my PTO tracking and timecard data. Having to rely on a separate program for those things is pretty annoying when everything else is already here.

Simple to use but setup is awful

Pros

it's super easy for everyday things like pulling up my most recent pay stub, choosing benefits and clocking in or out. I also find it easy to search employee records when I need to look someone up.

Cons

Setting this system up has been an absolute nightmare for me. we've been battling installation and configuration issues for more than a year since switching over. The recruiting portion has caused the most headaches and still isn't working the way it's supposed to, despite our ongoing efforts to make it behave. What consistently gets under my skin is the way new employee records are entered: if I discover a mistake in an earlier section, there's no shortcut to jump back to that part. I'm forced to click back through every single step one at a time, which eats up a ton of time and becomes extremely aggravating when I have many employees to process.

Decent tool with room for improvement

Pros

I find having a mobile app incredibly convenient when I'm out and need to adjust settings or check details on the go. All of our HR tools are centralized in a single place which ends up saving me a lot of time. The design is clean and feels modern so I don't have complaints about the layout. It runs reliably with fast loading and smooth transitions between pages. Password recovery is simple and seems secure enough. I also like that I can split my paycheck into multiple accounts for direct deposit. PTO tracking is reliable and performs exactly as expected.

Cons

I get really annoyed when the navigation makes it hard to find specific features or the exact information I'm after. The HR staff could use much more training on how to troubleshoot and assist users because they often fall short when problems come up. A number of plugins only work correctly in a Windows browser and that limitation is frustrating for people on other platforms. In my build, team members aren't even allowed to change their profile pictures which feels like a simple feature to have. The platform relies on external sites for some content and I've run into broken or missing information when those sources change or go offline.

very flexible but hard reports

Pros

I value that this platform allows me to keep every employee's data consolidated and quickly review payroll items such as deductions, benefits and tax details. employee self-service works well, while managers receive practical reporting capabilities. Whenever I've required assistance, customer support has been responsive and helpful too.

Cons

When I try to run reports, the reporting tool is hard to use because it's built on Cognos and tracking down the right fields to generate reports can be frustrating. I wish it were more smooth so folks could learn reporting without heavy training. Also the customer service ticketing system handles urgent issues poorly , I have to wait for someone to reply rather than get immediate assistance which is inconvenient when I need help.

All-in-one but not easy to use

Pros

This platform gives me everything I need to handle HR in a single place , I can easily look up my benefits, salary information and personal details. As a manager, it has been indispensable for keeping track of team goals and running performance reviews because historical records and compensation data are all available in one spot. My team enjoys using it to keep an eye on their annual goals and I value quick access to company resources like organizational charts and the employee handbook.

Cons

workflow isn't as interactive as I expected which can be frustrating. going through team members feels awkward and setting up goals sometimes turns into a clumsy process. Although there are walkthroughs, I frequently have trouble locating the exact one that matches what I want to do. On top of that, several tab and button labels are unclear , they don't always indicate what action will happen when you click.

Good for staff

Pros

I really like that team members can manage their own deductions, benefits and pay stubs without having to bother HR. Letting employees handle those tasks themselves gives them more control and saves our HR group a lot of time. Also, I find the performance management and review tools solid,the workflow stages are easy to follow.

Cons

Honestly, I find the reporting capabilities lacking , we keep faceing broken reports and pulling historical data is a constant headache. From my perspective, the applicant tracking portion feels rushed and not fully ready for production which has been frustrating for our team.

Alignes Operations for Large Companies

Pros

the paperwork automation is fantastic , no more gathering 60+ timesheets manually and checking each one for mistakes. My managers used to spend so much time on that process. Being able to request time off and log sick days from home has been a game changer especially since we're trying to go paperless. Now supervisors review pending requests and approve or deny them instantly. I heard they might add facial recognition for clocking in and out eventually, which sounds pretty cool compared to just using employee numbers.

Cons

The problem for me is that there's one terminal so everyone has to walk to that spot in the building before and after shifts. It becomes a issue because we're expected to check in at the office early for shift swaps and when buses are delayed or traffic builds up, the timing can fall apart. Management hasn't given clear guidance on whether they'll deduct time for lateness or allow leeway. Some coworkers must leave before midnight to catch the last bus, which only makes things messier. Although this stems more from company policy than the hardware itself, its presence has certainly introduced these scheduling headaches.

simple tool with glitchy time off

Pros

it is so easy to get around and it brings together almost every company resource I need in one place. It has been dependable, with very few technical hiccups or outages.

Cons

The interface comes across as fairly bland and not especially attractive visually. Some areas feel thrown together or loosely arranged which makes things a bit messy. On top of that when I try to request time off for shifts that cover several days, I often end up submitting duplicate requests which is a real issue to sort out.
