The most advantageous aspect of the time clock is how effortlessly I can manage my human resources. The system allows me to set limits on the number of staff members using PTO within each department. This reduces the need for constant monitoring since I can control the number of staff members absent during a given period.

Cons

Sometimes, I encounter a little challenge when searching for specific information in the reporting areas. I find myself navigating back and forth between screens to locate the desired details on a report.

PTO tracking is crucial for our group. However, the implementation process was not smooth due to personnel changes on our side and Webclock. There was a lack of clear communication on the initial setup instructions, which resulted in me manually updating all records for launch. Then, another admin had to manually adjust the time records for each account. I had to manually make additional adjustments by going back a third time to check another box for movement between screens. It was not a seamless process, and we still encounter unexplained issues with Webclock that require time to resolve.

As mentioned earlier, I've already addressed the issues that didn't work well during the implementation.

Employees have multiple options for clocking in, including facial recognition timeclocks, desktop, and tablet. However, we have restricted phone usage to a select few. Time management becomes effortless at the end of the payroll period, and we can smoothly export the data to our PEO.

In this version, I'm unable to highlight and print specific sections of PDF reports like I could in previous versions. This makes it cumbersome. Additionally, some reports only allow me to download them as Excel files, requiring further editing to extract the desired information for managers.
