Donating through the website or entering donations one by one is very simple which makes the whole process really convenient. It also takes a lot of stress out of tax time and makes everything much simpler to manage.
Cons

Round-the-clock customer support is a huge plus especially when working late nights or on weekends. The system is simple to navigate so finding the information I need doesn't take much effort. Overall it's a very useful program.
Cons
every client has to be entered manually which can be pretty time-consuming. The search feature could also be better since it doesn't handle duplicate information well when there are misspellings or similar errors.

Pros
Right from the start, the bulletin board feature is incredibly useful for sharing agency or community announcements events and urgent needs quickly across the organization. It's a very effective way to get information out fast. The reporting tools can be customized easily to capture exactly the data you want which is a big plus. On top of that, the CharityTracker team responds quickly whenever questions come up and resolves issues fast and those issues have been very few in my use. I would absolutely recommend this software to nonprofits and other community service organizations.
Cons
The yearly per-user fee for CharityTracker is quite reasonable but the cost of uploading information can add up and become expensive.

Getting it in place gave our county its first real way to track clients and the assistance they receive. In just the first few days, it helped our ministry catch cases where people were using different names to get duplicate services. It also made it possible to spot clients reporting different income levels or listing different family members with various agencies to qualify for more help. CharityTracker is making a major difference for our churches and smaller agencies especially those that do not have trained interviewers or extra staff. As our ministry continues entering clients, those smaller agencies can view complete client details they normally would not have access to.
Cons
The biggest challenge at the beginning is the amount of time needed to get started since we have to enter every client who comes in. With around 14,000 assistance cases each year, it takes additional time to get everyone into the system. The good part is that this is mostly an upfront issue and once clients are entered the first time, it stops being a problem and the process becomes much more manageable.

Pros
Agencies can avoid duplicating services. Clients sometimes go to several agencies in the same county asking for help and this software makes it really useful to see which agency already assisted them and how much support they received.
Cons
The reporting side is still frustrating. The reports feel too complex and I still haven't been able to get the exact results I need from them. I'd really like the reporting features to be more user-friendly for agency needs.

It feels very simple. There are several ways to pull up a client record in CT, including SSN, date of birth and name which makes searches much faster. It's also really helpful to follow care in CT not only from Tricounty Family Ministries but from other local agencies too. On top of that, updating details when a client changes their phone number or address is simple and quick.
Cons
Duplicate detection needs work. The system does not automatically recognize when the same person is being entered again so multiple agencies can end up creating duplicate records for one client. If the name, DOB and SSN match, it would make much more sense for the system to automatically merge that information into the existing record.

One thing that really helps with CharityTracker is how the client's name usually shows up right at the top of the list so I rarely have to scroll around looking for it. It also does a nice job accounting for misspelled names or cases where the client's full name wasn't entered which makes searching much more forgiving and practical.
Cons
Updating relationship information can be frustrating because adding or deleting those details is not very simple. It also takes extra time to locate a client when they have a very common last name like Brown or Smith.

Being able to verify and confirm information across different agencies has been really useful. It helps cut down on duplicate records and prevents clients from being claimed by more than one agency.
Cons
