From my experience the API is very easy to work with. It comes with clear documentation and a easy design made it simple to slot into our SaaS workflow. I was able to add signature generation to our product with minimal engineering time and signature requests reliably reach clients while the signing UI is extremely easy for end users.
Cons
One drawback I ran into is there's no Sandbox environment for testing. Also the API doesn't let me fine-tune branding or layout deeply so when I embed it into a carefully designed product the look and feel can feel a bit out of sync with the rest of the app.

Unlimited documents even on the Light plan. The cost per sender is extremely low. The interface is simple and I was able to get started very quickly. It feels like a perfect fit for small businesses, coaches and creators. For a long time I was searching for a purpose-built tool that would give me a fast, consistent and accessible way to send, sign and verify legal paperwork. After trying several options that didn't match my business needs this tool allowed me to save my contract templates and sign them easily and without delay.
Cons
When my priority is low cost combined with unlimited documents and a easy workflow I honestly think it offers the best value. That said if you require heavy-duty PDF editing or strict enterprise governance, other platforms are more appropriate, Adobe Sign is stronger on the enterprise governance and PDF editing front. And if you need the most extensive integrations and highly automated workflows DocuSign is the better choice though it comes with a higher price tag.

These are still minor issues. 1) I'd like the option to cancel a document after I've signed it when the recipient hasn't opened it yet, or to cancel before they sign. 2) The signature field was a little confusing and when I place the box, my signature ends up centered in the box rather than aligned at the bottom.

I get that the company needs to encourage upgrades but with so many key capabilities locked away it's hard to really get attached to the product since you can't fully explore it and see whether it fits your workflow. In my opinion a better balance would be to make some basic but meaningful options available while keeping the most advanced tools behind paywalls. Another improvement I'd like is the ability to customize the name that appears when the document is sent and to send a single signed-copy request to a group instead of manually entering every recipient one by one. It's been convenient enough that I haven't needed to reach out to customer support myself, so I can't speak to that experience.

Paperwork often never makes it home or gets taken out of backpacks and parents sometimes forget to send it back. I've found that switching to a tool that lets me send documents digitally has been transformational for getting forms returned quickly and on time. The interface is extremely user-friendly and dead simple to navigate. Within the first few weeks of using it I already had parents' signatures returned. They could open the documents and sign them with no trouble whatsoever. I really appreciate being able to indicate exactly which fields need checking, signatures, or dates. Honestly I wish I had discovered this tool much earlier, it would have saved me so much time and follow-up.
Cons
The only downside for me is the price. It is fairly reasonable overall but because I work in a school district, the district frequently isn't willing or able to cover subscription costs and I don't feel comfortable paying for that out of my own pocket. If I had to pay personally though, it would be my choice without hesitation. Right now I'm making do with the free tier but I'm aware that I have a lot more forms each month that will require signatures and eventually I'll need features only the paid plan can offer.

I uploaded the contract and used their drag-and-drop tools to position signature and date fields exactly where they needed to be. Adding the recipient's name and email was quick and clear. When I finished, I hit send and my client received an email right away with a link to sign. After they signed, both of us received copies of the completed contract and Signwell also keeps a copy on file for our records. The process felt simple and saved us time.

The entire experience is very simple. I had no trouble signing up, uploading files or sending documents as every step was like walk in a park.
Cons
My experience was completely issue-free. I needed to get one signature and it was a simple process. A fun idea for the future might be to integrate online notary services into the platform!
