“Great for building forms
Pros
I really value the ability to build and tweak forms and then publish them.

“Free but charges after 10 uses
Pros
It is free and simple to use. For me, there are not any other advantages beyond that.
Cons
Let me tell you that they start charging you once you get more than about 10 submissions.

“Pretty easy to use for setting up workflows
Pros
For the most part, it is pretty easy to use and their help guides are there for the more complicated stuff. Also it is a solid platform for setting up workflows, handling approvals and managing more intricate processes.
Cons
Their pricing setup makes it difficult for my team to share the work of managing forms and workflows. Plus since every person needs their own license, it can get expensive if you are on a tight budget.

“Simple to put a form together
Pros
I really like how simple it is to put a form together.
Cons
Well there is nothing I really dislike but the form layouts could be improved as sometimes they do not look very polished.

We could customize the themes to match our brand's look which we really like about it.

It gets a bit pricey when we need to create more forms.

“customizable on any device
Pros
You can open and use forms made with Jotform on any device with a browser, anytime you have an internet connection. Plus the form builder has great tools and templates that let us customize fonts, layouts and other design elements easily.
Cons
Overall it is very well suited to what we need. The only catch is that it's more expensive than other options which is why it is not as widely used.

“Build detailed forms to simplify procedures
Pros
With Jotform, we can build really detailed forms that help simplify our internal company procedures.
Cons
There is a bit of a learning curve with it. With so many features, it takes some time to figure out how to make the most of the system.

“Easy to get started
Pros
Getting started is incredibly easy. Plus building forms and adding them to our site is genuinely so simple with Jotform.
Cons
The customer support could use some improvement. We have been waiting for months for them to address some pending issues and we still have not heard back.

“Very easy and simple to follow
Pros
As someone just filling out and signing a form, I found the process very easy and simple to follow.
Cons
I cannot think of anything specific that I liked less compared to other tools like DocuSign.

“Impressed with how user-friendly it is
Pros
We were really impressed with how user friendly the platform is for creating new forms. We used one of the add-ons, a gift registry feature which let us set a registration cap for specific dates. This made it much smoother for students to sign up for multiple dates using a single form.
Cons
So far we do not have a single complaint about it.

“Perfectly customizable and brandable
Pros
Being able to fully customize my forms is my favorite part! They have templates for almost every situation and I can just add my logo and use my brands colors without any technical skills. I mean it is that simple. I also love that it connects with PayPal so people can pay directly through the form.
Cons
While the platform is really simple to use, the initial setup was quite tricky. The lack of real-time support made the process take longer and was a bit frustrating. So a good tutorial or a live chat feature would be a huge help.

“Great free version
Pros
I have used the free version for a small non-profit and it is a great way to display results in a simple, attractive way. Plus it worked perfectly for my non-commercial project. If I ever need it for a business, I would gladly pay for it.
Cons
Translations work well in the forms using translation tables, so it is confusing why the response emails do not have the same feature. Like we have to manually convert every piece of text for each language and create a separate email which is very time-consuming.

“Ready-made templates save so much time
Pros
The ready-made templates save me so much time. They give me a great starting point so I can just jump in and make the specific adjustments I need.
Cons
It is not really a downside but the sheer number of templates available can be a bit overwhelming to sort through.

“Adapt forms to contain exactly what you need
Pros
One of the best thing about Jotform is that it lets you adapt forms to contain exactly the information you need. Not only that but I can also decide which parts are mandatory to fill out before the form can be submitted.
Cons
Honestly I have no complaints about it. It has worked perfectly for me. The only drawback is that the submission limits on the free version are quite low.

“extremely useful
Pros
We love that we can use it for so many different tasks. Our donors can register for events, pay directly on the form and order promotional items, all in one place. Also it is easy for them to use and setting up the forms is usually quick for me. Overall it is a fantastic way to store and track our data over time. I have tried several similar platforms and this one is my favorite by far.
Cons
I have run into the occasional issue creating custom fields for our specific needs and linking it to our bank but other than that, I don't have any problems with it!

“An amazing tool
Pros
Jotform is an amazing tool for building online forms. It was especially helpful for gathering colleague and client information for events and for running surveys.
Cons
I found some limitations with data export. Also it would be great to have more format options like being able to export directly to Tableau.

“Sign forms electronically from anywhere
Pros
The ability to sign forms electronically from anywhere is a feature I really like. It makes our workflows seamless and easy which really helps boost productivity.
Cons
My main wish is for a more fully-featured mobile app and I would love to see collaboration tools added and for the whole experience to be simple and seamless.

“Great free usage but charges force a change
Pros
Jotform free usage and their support for non-profit charities, unlike some other companies is great. Also their support team generally gets back to us quickly with clear explanations and the platform is pretty easy to set up and use.
Cons
Once we hit the maximum on referrals and upload space, the charges start and it pushes us toward a paid plan. Not every business can afford that so it forces you to look for another solution.
