“Simple file upload options
Pros
I'm really happy that the tool lets me include an option for people to upload photos and documents directly in the forms.
Cons
As a user, I've been annoyed that the free plan only provides a tiny amount of storage for my documents and images.

“Smooth payments and integrations
Pros
Jotform connects easily with my email providers and scheduling tools. On my website, the contact form works well and looks professional. I like that intake forms can be styled attractively and I can link them to PayPal and Stripe. Tutorials are plentiful and support has been excellent whenever I needed guidance. I've also used it for class surveys and student feedback and the forms are easy for people to navigate and submit.
Cons
I found the free calendar app bundled with jotform a bit tricky to figure out and get working the way I wanted. Because of that learning curve, I've switched to a different scheduling system that gives me more features and flexibility.

“Advanced logic made easy
Pros
We've been using Jotform for two years, starting with internal forms for our team. Staff love them and often suggest improvements because changes are easy to roll out. Eventually, we expanded to client-facing forms and clients started praising them, they're just so simple to use. Conditions are a huge part of that, one form even has twenty different conditions to handle logic. Lately, we started piping submissions into Google Sheets which was easy.
Cons
I'd really like the ability to style my forms with custom CSS so I can fully control the look and layout across different devices and match our branding exactly.

“All-in-one daily workflow tool
Pros
I rely on Jotform for most of my workflows. It handles contracts, providing legally binding signature fields when needed. Beyond that, it manages surveys and general forms and connects to many third-party apps. I rarely need other software because Jotform covers everything and I use it daily.
Cons
Occasionally when I submit a request and they don't have an immediate answer, they tell me they'll open a ticket to request that new feature which leaves me waiting without a clear timeline.

“Custom forms that improve completion
Pros
What I really appreciate is how much scope there is to tailor forms to my needs. Having personalized forms is fantastic. It's also very easy for me to use and because it's so user-friendly, I notice more people actually complete the forms.
Cons
I've been wishing for a clearer, more polished way to visualise or present the data we've collected, because the current layout feels a bit clunky. It would also help if there was an option to auto-shorten form URLs and even better if those shortened links could be instantly turned into QR codes, that would make sharing so much simpler and more professional.

“Powerful features with fast support
Pros
This tool is incredibly user-friendly, packed with useful features and integrations. It handles nearly any scenario I need from a form builder and support responds to my questions quickly.
Cons
I find it difficult to connect with systems beyond Jotform's ecosystem, for example, when I'm building my own app and need to tie into my own database, getting a proper integration is not easy.

“Paperless forms that simplify workflows
Pros
I've turned every paper form into a simple, portable, space-saving online form that reduces printing. Team members can follow along easily because the form walks them step by step. When I check submissions, all respondent details are laid out neatly. It's really changed how we work.
Cons
My biggest problem is that there's no autosave, if someone abandons the form without hitting submit, everything they've entered disappears.

“Fast and easy questionnaire building
Pros
Creating questionnaires and gathering responses is incredibly quick and easy for me. The interface feels simple and approachable, even for those with minimal technical experience. Building forms was easy because there are many customizable choices, from question types to multiple response formats.
Cons
Sometimes I notice it moves very slowly and there are moments when it appears to freeze.

“Easy HIPAA-compliant healthcare forms
Pros
Jotform has been incredibly simple to set up, letting me build multiple HIPAA-compliant forms for healthcare without issue. The platform keeps data secure and is reasonably priced.
Cons
Adding extra users isn't easy and, from what I've experienced, ends up being fairly expensive.

“Reliable internal survey platform
Pros
Thanks to Jotform, we now have an extremely effective approach for conducting internal surveys and as a result our team is performing at its peak. A wide range of survey and reward requests can be configured with Jotform's assistance because their solutions handle them competently. It has played a key role in keeping our processes running smoothly and has become our go-to option. I find the user interface particularly well-designed, offering a reliable and enjoyable workspace for daily tasks.
Cons
I've noticed the program doesn't receive updates frequently enough which ends up causing notable delays in our workflows and frustrates the team.

“simple interface for data reporting
Pros
Interface is extremely simple, with strong customization options and I like that it really simplifies gathering and reporting data. Because it's web-based, anyone on the team can access and use it.
Cons
When it comes to collaboration, that's been the only real drawback I've found so far. I like that building forms together works well but the export/view workflow makes me have to send the data to others rather than letting them access it themselves which is inconvenient.

“Ideal vendor application management
Pros
I'm really impressed with this software, we use it to handle vendor applications for our festival and it's absolutely ideal for that. It connects to our Square account without any fuss and configuring which form fields are mandatory is easy. For example, I can require vendors to upload photos so they can't submit an application missing its images. We've also set it so that one click will notify the vendor when an application has been approved or declined.
Cons
It does take some time to get set up but I think it's worth investing that effort.

“Centralized nonprofit form handling
Pros
As a fairly small group with an international footprint, After the Races gets an impressive volume of inquiries and we depend on Jotform to manage everything from our contact page to adoption applications and the other forms in between. Building forms in Jotform was easy and quick. I appreciate the wide range of field types and input options it offers which made tailoring forms to our needs simple. It plugged into our platform without any issue and behaved reliably. For the work we handle and the scale we're operating at, the pricing felt fair and within reach. All things considered, I'd recommend Jotform to anyone looking for a simple, efficient way to centralize public contacts and handle outreach smoothly. The interface is simple and saved us time training volunteers which was a big plus.
Cons
If nonprofit pricing isn't already available, I'd love to see a dedicated nonprofit plan introduced, having that would be helpful. That said, regular discounts pop up often and those deals let us land a plan that fit within our tight budget.

“Flexible forms for daily tasks
Pros
I'm a huge fan of Jotform. My team and I rely on it for a bunch of tasks, from running surveys to handling purchase flows. The variety of question formats, embedding capabilities, automation features and the quick, drag-and-drop form builder give me a lot of room to be creative and practical across different projects. I also value the supportive community and responsive customer service that help me pull off complex builds and discover new uses.
Cons
There are definitely limits to what can be built smoothly because of the available question types and form-building tools. While Jotform can handle a lot of scenarios, some workarounds or configurations end up feeling clunky or inelegant. The user community has patched together fixes for a number of these pain points and I suspect more technically inclined users could devise additional solutions. One other drawback is that the platform sticks mostly to classic survey-style forms, so features like chatbots aren't really supported.

“Easy camp and program sign-ups
Pros
We've found the tool really simple and super simple to set up. My team used it for parents to sign up for camps and to express interest in summer programs and parents told me it was easy to navigate. That made a big difference since a number of our families aren't tech-savvy. Plus, sign-up submissions were sent directly to my email which made it quick and easy to review everyone's responses.
Cons
I have noticed the download feature can be a bit unreliable, it doesn't generate the file instantly and instead they send an email when it's ready. In my experience, you should expect to wait around five minutes before it's available. Another drawback is that all of the information arrives across multiple separate sheets, personally I'd prefer to have everything combined into a single, comprehensive spreadsheet to make reviewing simpler.

“Advanced forms without coding
Pros
With this tool I can edit forms without needing to be a developer. There are tons of features and it integrates with many different services easily. I've found their support to be top-tier.
Cons
The one drawback I've found so far is that some themed templates can be tricky to customize and manipulate. It's minor overall but still worth noting to me.

“Built-in calculations and logic

“simple tool with strong features
Pros
Having gone through a ton of form-building apps before choosing Jotform, I can say it won me over mainly because it's so simple and quick to deploy. Responses from Customer Support sometimes take a while but they eventually get back to me and I'm never left stranded. Considering the wide array of features and the numerous integrations available, I genuinely feel this is a powerful and versatile tool.
Cons
Occasionally I have to wait longer than I'd like for responses which is annoying when something is urgent. Also, I find the DocuSign integration could be smoother, it's functional but feels like it could use refinement to match the rest of the platform.

“great tool for designs
Pros
I've been able to tailor the appearance and vibe of my forms so they match my brand or website, by uploading my own logo, selecting preferred fonts and applying my brand colors.
Cons
In my experience, Jotform's drag-and-drop builder is usually easy but I find it can become a bit clunky and tough when I'm working on more complex forms and searching for certain tools or settings often ends up being time-consuming.
