Fast order forms with invoicing

Pros

this tool makes building order forms incredibly easy and fast. What I really like is that the details can be pushed straight into invoices and it even sends them automatically by email. They also plug into my website without any fuss. All in all, I'd strongly suggest trying it out.

Cons

I did notice a slight learning curve when I switch from one form to another which can take a little getting used to.

Versatile forms linked to CRM

Pros

it is easy to set up and use. We leverage it across several situations, surveys, calendar bookings and data collection and I can easily link all of these into our CRM system.

Cons

Feature-wise, I find Jotform has no real flaws. I'd like to have some more flexibility for design purposes, though.

aligned client data collection

Pros

This works perfectly for my business. We provide highly personalized services that demand a lot of detailed information from clients and Jotform has made it much easier for us to align our customer-service workflows. I'm really thankful to Jotform for simplifying that process.

Cons

I'd like an option to recover forms I accidentally deleted, because I've lost submissions before. If such a recovery feature exists, I haven't been able to discover where it's located or how to use it and that gap has been frustrating.

Easy navigation with smart logic

Pros

The interface is incredibly easy to navigate and I find the conditional logic feature to be the single most valuable part for my business.

Cons

I wish I had more control over how things look, because limited options for display styling is one of the few drawbacks I can point to.

Flexible forms without rework

Pros

Jotform felt incredibly simple and I discovered a broad range of options to pick from. Beyond that, the platform proved flexible and adaptable, letting me modify decisions I made at the project's outset without forcing a complete restart. It was easy for me to learn the workflow and I could share the form smoothly and without fuss.

Cons

I would like more control over the form's appearance, for example having text and layout editing environments that feel more like Microsoft Word.

Simple and effective HR forms

Pros

Finding it simple to use and easy to implement, plus the customer support is excellent. I use the app regularly and genuinely enjoy all of its features and it allowed me to build job application forms along with internal employee, manager and HR forms that have really made everyone's work much easier.

Cons

No complaints, I'm genuinely fond of every single feature Jotform offers!

Cleaner look than Google Docs

Pros

In my experience, it's incredibly easy to use and looks much more aesthetically pleasing than Google Docs.

Cons

Affordable tool with fast support

Pros

Overall, it's very easy to use and the pricing feels reasonable, I especially appreciate that I can give someone without a paid account read-only table access and support replies quickly.

Cons

Nothing to mention here but I do have one persistent bug that I've been pushing to get fixed and it still hasn't been resolved.

Highly flexible form solution

Pros

JotForm's flexibility feels boundless. I rely on it for every one of my clients and almost never run into problems. The way it integrates with any platform is seriously impressive, so it's literally the only form I ever need.

Cons

There honestly aren't any complaints I can think of to suggest for improvement, I've come up empty when trying to name something they could do better.

Simple webform creation for any need

Pros

Jotform keeps building webforms incredibly easy. I can choose from a huge variety of form types depending on my needs. Within my organization we've put together dozens of different forms for diverse purposes and I find the end result very user-friendly.

Helpful tools for email collection

Pros

I'm really into the tools that let me gather email addresses for a bunch of different purposes.

Cons

When I'm building forms, I find parts of the creation process clunky and not very simple and after logging out or switching accounts it's surprisingly difficult for me to locate each form's inbox to check submissions.

Fully customizable forms for every department

Pros

One of the best parts for me is being able to tweak everything, from the form's color scheme to the kinds of questions I include (short answer, multiple choice, matrix-style and so on). To my mind, Jotform really functions as a One Size Fits All solution for our company. We've got a handful of different departments and the Admin team relies on it for builder surveys, voting for Building of the Year, ordering planners, equipment usage surveys, plus a bunch of other tasks. On a personal level, I use it to send updates and info out to our crews in the field. Many of those guys aren't super comfortable with tech but because I can customize the forms so precisely, it's simple to gather all the details I need while keeping the process easy for them. They really like how easy it is, they click a link, answer a few questions and hit submit. I also value the ability to create a custom link to a form. I enjoy how much you can personalize each form, we put our logo on everything we send out which feels like a nice, professional touch. It's extremely convenient that I can build a variety of reusable forms. Some templates get used several times a month, while others only come up once a year, it's great not having to start from scratch every time. They're ready to go whenever I need them. Finally, it's very simple to import the responses into a spreadsheet so I can quickly track, sort and filter the submissions.

Cons

As an Administrator I do notice there's a bit of a learning curve when I'm building forms. At times I get flustered trying to edit various question types and figure out the best way to change them. There are moments when it takes quite a bit of trial and error before I discover how to edit text inside a particular form element and other times it only takes a few seconds. Another frustrating point is how matrix (multi-question) tables display responses, it can be confusing because the answers often end up combined into a single cell/response. So when I export to Excel, it sometimes feels like the questions aren't separated properly, instead, all of the answers land in ONE CELL rather than each answer getting its own column or cell. That's annoying because I then have to go in and manually adjust the data every time. The data collection itself works very well but the import process for that specific kind of response could definitely be improved. To be clear, this only applies to certain types of collected data, not all imports are a problem.

Easy to embed with strong integrations

Pros

I find it simple and easy to add into our internal SOPs. There are countless integrations and it improves our branding while making it simple for customers to complete forms. We use it every time we bring a new client on board and embedding tailored forms on any website is easy.

Cons

I do wish the Zoom integration was better so we could survey meeting attendees after every single call.

Quick setup for forms and surveys

Pros

Jotform makes building forms, quizzes and surveys really simple, it's easy to set up. I also appreciate the built-in integrations for nearly everything I need, from payment gateways to e-signatures.

Cons

Honestly, what I'd love is the ability to generate custom PDF downloads that are tailored to each person's form responses, having that feature would make Jotform truly perfect for my workflow. Aside from that missing piece, it's already very close.

Easy approval workflows at low cost

Pros

Building approval workflows has been really enjoyable because it's easy to hand each step off from person to person. I'm also impressed by how affordable it is.

Cons

When I try to scale up, I find it difficult to set up approval processes that involve a very large number of steps or many different team members.
