“All-in-one data collection tool
Pros
I've been using Jotform as my primary online form builder and it's genuinely changed how I collect and organize data. The layout is clean and simple, so putting a form together feels easy even though I'm not super tech-savvy. With drag-and-drop elements I can tweak layouts quickly and the wide selection of ready-made templates has saved me countless hours. What stands out most to me is how many integrations are available, connecting forms to other apps and platforms is simple which helps keep my workflow efficient. I also appreciate the flexibility to either embed forms on a site or share them through a direct link depending on the situation which is really convenient. On the security side, having encryption options and secure storage makes me feel comfortable that the information I gather is protected. Whenever I've needed help, their customer support responded quickly and actually solved my problems, so I never felt stuck. All in all, Jotform has been a reliable, feature-rich solution that made data collection much easier for me and I would recommend it to anyone who needs a great form-building tool.
Cons
Even though I think Jotform is a great form builder, there are a few drawbacks I've noticed that are worth mentioning. For one, the free plan limits the number of submissions I can receive which can be restrictive if a form becomes popular, the paid options are reasonable but that cap is something to watch out for. I also found that some of the more advanced features come with a bit of a learning curve, so people who haven't spent much time building forms might need to set aside time to get comfortable. Another practical limitation is that it requires an internet connection to create and send forms, so working offline isn't really supported and can be an issue in certain situations. Finally, if you want to fully customize PDFs of form responses, that capability is pretty limited on the free tier. These are manageable quirks but they did affect my workflow on occasion.

“Advanced features made simple
Pros
Honestly, I'm really impressed with what this software offers. After spending a little time with it, it becomes easy to use and the learning curve is mild. Once I mastered the basics, the additional features and integrations started to reveal a lot more possibilities. One thing I absolutely love is the app builder. For example, I put together an app for a 30-person team and embedded forms to log hours, note events, manage functions and so on. It's genuinely incredible how much you can accomplish with this tool.
Cons
In my experience, some features need a bit of 'programming' to behave correctly. It's doable but I often find it slightly frustrating to get the formulas to work exactly as intended. It feels reminiscent of scripting up an Excel sheet, only not quite as complicated, but it still takes patience and trial-and-error to nail the logic.

“Company-wide response collection
Pros
We use Jotform because it offers an easy, organized way to collect responses from everyone across our firm. It's incredibly simple to distribute to the whole company and we've found it's easy for teams to implement consistently across departments. On top of that, the option to connect it to our Slack channels has been invaluable, people are far more likely to complete a form when it lands in the main communication spaces they already check daily.
Cons
I've noticed that Jotform doesn't always translate or format information the same way across different platforms. For instance, a form copy sent by email can look noticeably different from the version that goes to a Slack channel and that inconsistency has caused occasional confusion for our team.

“Flexible forms with instant notifications
Pros
I really love how flexible this tool is, I can create forms for a wide variety of intake needs and different types of surveys and it's simple to embed them on my website. What I especially appreciate is that the app sends me immediate notifications the moment someone completes a form which lets me get back to customers quickly and keeps things moving.
Cons
Because I'm using the free plan, I'm limited in how many intake forms I can keep stored which feels a bit restrictive, still, upgrading is on my radar and I'll probably move to a paid plan soon.

this tool is extremely easy to use and to distribute. It works across so many industries and has countless applications. I can gather feedback about a service, a product, pricing and much more. I've used it repeatedly and the answers I get are consistently easy while still being informative. The platform is also simple to implement and integrate across multiple social media channels.
Cons
Getting the hang of it at the beginning required a bit of trial and error for me but I didn't find it difficult, it just took some patience and time.

“necessary tool for clinics
Pros
At our clinic, the conditional logic capability in this tool has become essential because it lets us do an initial eligibility screen for patients. That single step saves our team a tremendous amount of time. Also, I find the form-building process extremely easy, it enables us to spin up brand-new forms or tweak and implement existing ones quickly, so we can make changes and deploy forms in a very short timeframe.
Cons
I know this tool costs more than competing options and while the price is higher, I'm willing to pay the extra because it includes features I can't get elsewhere. One area I hope they address soon is security, adding two-factor authentication for login would, in my view, be a meaningful improvement to protect our accounts.

Okay so.... I've been using this tool for the past three years and plan to keep using it. In my role as the director of a virtual K-12 school, it helps me connect with students and their families in a easy, efficient way. I'm constantly discovering new applications for the software and I'm still learning features and tricks. Because it aligns processes so well, I strongly suggest it to anyone who wants to boost efficiency and improve their workflow.
Cons
Most of the issues I've run into with this tool turned out to be mistakes on my part and I was usually able to correct them from within the program. When I dug into the settings or retraced my steps, I could fix the problem without external support.

Pros
I'm really impressed by how simple it is to get a form live on the web. The connection feels secure and I get an immediate email whenever someone submits through this tool. It also includes plenty of options to make my form look and work great!
Cons
To be honest, the biggest downside I've noticed is that their free plan only allows a very small number of forms which limits how much I can do without upgrading.

One thing that really sets this tool apart from other programs is how effortless it is to use and how well it connects with other services. I couldn't find another application that let me link directly to Stripe, Monday.com and QuickBooks the way this does. Beyond integrations, I also find creating customized forms fast, simple and highly flexible.

I can't think of anything I dislike about this product, it performs exactly as I need it to and meets all my requirements without fault.

I really value their live chat support, whenever I'm juggling tasks or need to push a form out fast, their reps are fantastic at giving a quick response or helping me through it. They've also built a great knowledge base and offer useful widgets that let me tailor forms to exactly what we need. We rely on this tool for everything from surveys and applications to ticket sales and intake processes several times each month.
Cons
We wish there was a multi-user plan option that didn't force us to upgrade all the way to an enterprise package.

Pros

All of my health questionnaires live in one central spot, so I just paste the link into my booking details and clients complete the form before their session. Then I have the option to look through their responses ahead of time or check them during the class.

“simple forms with automation
Pros
For our team it's really easy to build new forms, I find the interface extremely simple. Because it links to Zapier, those forms turn into powerful automation tools that work with our other software which is a big plus.
Cons
I don't like that their sales and promos (for example Black Friday) are only available to higher subscription tiers. If I hadn't already paid for this tool, I could have bought it for less. I get why they do that but I wish they wouldn't send marketing emails implying I can get a discount on my current plan only to find it's not actually available when I follow the link.

What I really value about this tool is its ability to build multi-layered forms that are both quick and, at the same time, flexible enough to meet whatever requirements my organization throws at us.
Cons

It is really easy to use and quite simple for people who are new to it. In my experience the help desk replies quickly and most of my questions get answered right inside the portal.
Cons
For my needs the links that point to the forms are excessively long and unwieldy. I'd really appreciate having the option to customize each link so I can give it a descriptive name that matches exactly what the form is being used for.

What I appreciate most is that it handles both payment collection and signatures smoothly and it's really simple to use and hooks into our other tools without issue. I haven't had to reach out to Customer Support at all which I take as a compliment. That said, we don't end up using it nearly as frequently as I'd prefer because the pricing limits our usage.

I've come to rely on this as the best form builder out there. It lets you get started with free forms, is simple to use and offers a massive library of templates tailored for pretty much any scenario you can imagine. For us it handles things like our quarterly employee-of-the-month nomination, internal company surveys and a bunch of other tasks without any fuss.
Cons
There aren't any real issues I have with the platform, for me the only wish is that they provided a few more free form templates so we could do even more without upgrading.
