“Fantastically simple for building forms
Pros
Building forms and web-based apps with jotforms is fantastically simple. Plus the huge template library practically does all the work for you but still gives you the freedom to do your own development.
Cons
Upgrading is a bit costly which restricts what you can do. Though I do like what's available for free but I wish there were more subscription choices instead of just jumping straight to $40 a month.

“So many uses!!
Pros
What I really like is that there are so many uses for Jotform right out of the box, even before you start exploring all the extra integrations and widgets.
Cons
It can feel a bit overwhelming at times because some widgets have similar names and often do not work quite the way I anticipate.

“safe and easy system for our nonprofit
Pros
Our nonprofit helps students with disabilities. We needed a safe and easy to use system to track information. It is when we found this tool. So now when a family is interested in our program, we use Jotform to collect their private details in a secure and organized way.
Cons
I wish there was an easier way to send the same form to many families without having to manually edit each one. For example I need to send a notice that requires a signature and I want each form to automatically have the correct students name already filled in at the top.

“easy to use and customize
Pros
It is so easy to use and we can customize it to our needs. Overall this is the best platform I have used in a work environment for collecting a large amount of information from a client or patient.
Cons
When we are using it for telehealth, some forms can be difficult to locate and send, especially if the client is not very comfortable with technology.

“Quick and simple with plenty of options
Pros
This platform is quick and simple to use which I really like. It also handles a huge variety of forms, giving you plenty of options to choose from.
Cons
I could not figure out how to build one specific form I had in mind for a certain job but it is not a big deal because I made a different one that worked just fine for what I needed.

“Our favorite feature is the branching logic
Pros
My favorite feature is the branching logic which lets you easily customize a form for just about any situation. It also keeps all the data and responses stored safely, so there is no need to export anything.
Cons
My main wish is for a smoother connection with our customer service platform. Right now we need another app to link them and bringing the data over is a bit of a clumsy process.

“easier for gathering client information
Pros
Gathering client information for proposals has become much easier, thanks to Jotform. Between the simple form builder and the many templates, we keep discovering new parts of our business where we can use it and its huge set of tools. Overall it's worth every penny because of all the time it saves us.
Cons
As someone who is not technical, the form builder really intimidated me at first. But by going through the tutorials and help guides, I managed to learn how to not only create forms but also personalize them with each client's logo.

“Very easy to use and understand
Pros
Jotform platform is very easy to use. I did not need to spend much time at all learning how it works. Everything is simple and easy to understand.
Cons
There is nothing I did not like. I honestly cannot think of anything to add here, it is a pretty basic tool without a lot of unnecessary clutter.

“best app connections
Pros
The ability to connect with other apps and build automated workflows for our processes and tasks is a huge plus. Their support system is also the best as they answer any request quickly and thoroughly.
Cons
A couple of features that would be nice to have are more flexible workflows like being able to insert forms into different processes and better integration with Excel and Google Sheets.

“Made appointment booking much simpler
Pros
Our clinic uses this tool to handle appointment bookings. It has made the whole process much simpler and far more convenient for everyone.
Cons
You do run into certain limits with form submissions and views depending on your plan. But given the massive number of features it offers, to me it seems pretty fair.

“offers a huge selection of customizable templates
Pros
One thing I like a lot is the huge selection of templates we can pick from and then customize to fit exactly what we want.
Cons
The pricing is my least favorite thing about it, you can find some other capable options out there that are more affordable.

“easy for editing and building forms
Pros
Editing forms is easy which I really love. Building new forms is also a very simple process and the people filling them out find them easy to navigate.
Cons
There is absolutely nothing I dislike. It is simple to use and has everything I require. Plus I have never had any trouble making or sending out a form.

“user-friendly for getting feedback
Pros
Our team loves Jotform because it is so user-friendly and is the simplest way to get feedback from our staff, customers and potential clients. We also like that we can edit a form anytime to get the best results.
Cons
We would love it more if there were some preset options for fields that don't exist yet, or if some of the current fields we can select were more customizable.

“Versatile for surveys and sign-ups
Pros
The best thing about this software is its versatility. You can use it for surveys, sign-ups and registrations. The template library is also great though I never use a template as-is but it gives me the perfect starting point to customize for my needs. I have used it to create forms for several different organizations I volunteer with.
Cons
Getting the email notifications to show exactly what I want can be a little finicky sometimes. Also I would love a simple way to just download emails that only come from my forms and the app sometimes tells me I have new submissions but they are actually old ones I have already seen.

“vast variety of designs!!
Pros
There iss a huge selection of designs and options available on Jotform. Their recommended designs also mean you can put a form together in just a few clicks.
Cons
The cost is probably my main point. I mean I am really hoping it can provide a lower price or at least offer more free forms and more flexible package options.

“A game-changer
Pros
Collecting information from potential leads and managing RSVPs for my educational events has become so simple with Jotform. In short it's been a real game-changer for me.
Cons
There is not much I can say against it. But maybe they could add more widgets and form options but overall, I have been genuinely happy with it.

“user-friendly
Pros
It is simple, user friendly and gets right to the point. New users will find it easy to work with and I find it a a solid alternative to Google Forms. Embedding it is also not an issue.
Cons
In a way it's almosttoosimple to use, to the point where it does not always feel that simple. But I know a lot of people like that simplicity. you can say it is just a matter of personal preference.

“Streamlines communication
Pros
Using it is easy, setting it up is simple and sending it out is no trouble. It also helps streamline a lot of our teams communication.
Cons
The forms are not the most visually appealing but I do not usually spend time customizing them. I also wish there was a submission history log I could check.

“Love the many templates & excellent service
Pros
Having so many templates to use as a starting point for our own form is a feature I really love. The customer service is also excellent as you can post a question and someone from the team will actually access your form and guide you through the problem. Plus being able to integrate with payment processors like Square has completely changed how we operate.
Cons
It would be great if there were more options for customizing the reports. I would also love it if form responses could automatically feed into an Excel or Google Sheet to make sorting and sharing the data with others much simpler.

“Incredibly user-friendly and logical
Pros
The thing I value most is how simple it is to use. As overall it is incredibly user-friendly, even if you are not a technical person. The layout is very logical too so you do not waste time trying to find things. Plus drag and drop tools, clear menus and helpful tips make the whole process fast and stress-free. I mean you can tell it was designed with the user's experience as a top priority.
Cons
There is hardly anything to complain about, it really does everything I need. It is incredibly easy to use, the interface is clean and makes sense and I love how much you can customize. Whether I am making a basic form or a complicated one, the process is always smooth. The automation and integration choices also make my work a lot easier. Honestly it just works the way you'd hope it would, which is tough to find.
