Pros

The merge document feature is a huge time saver and has made our office more efficient and cost-effective for clients.

Cons

If an email is saved to the wrong matter in Prevail from Outlook Sync, only the person who saved it can fix it. They have to delete it and then re-save it from Outlook, which is inconvenient.

Pros

I am really disappointed that they removed my favorite features in Version 9. On the bright side, I do like that tasks, messages, history notes and more now have a "go to matter" button instead of just certain ones like task notes.

Cons

They removed a lot of useful features, zip code/city auto-population, doc merge codes for text boxes, and the ability to attach emails directly to file history from a history note. Now, you cannot edit how an email note appears in the file and "matter review" timestamps automatically default to 12 AM instead of the actual time. The time ticker now only shows hours and minutes, so if I want items to appear in a specific order, I have to wait for the minute to change before adding my next note. Calendar entries in history do not display appointment details anymore, and rolodex contacts no longer auto-attach to files based on zip codes. When multiple minimized tasks are open, they all just say "task" instead of the client or matter name. Another weird issue, when someone marks a medical record as "received," the system lists the original requestor as the author so it sometimes looks like people who do not even work here anymore are handling our cases. Honestly, I could name a hundred more frustrating things they took away, but overall, these changes have really hurt our efficiency.
