My least preferred aspect is the delayed notification for messages from professors; I often receive alerts long after the messages were sent.

Particularly beneficial for larger classes it eliminates the need for paper copies making materials easily printable for students. The Gradebook feature stands out offering straightforward posting of quiz grades even for online quizzes and exams.

Blackboard experiences slowdowns with simultaneous heavy usage occasionally becoming temporarily unavailable due to maintenance albeit with prior notice. Apart from these instances I encountered no issues.
