Pros
Blackboard has all the necessary features for content creation or consumption. It was my primary tool for uploading content for students with discussion boards and threads aiding in easy grade tracking. The chat system was a great addition and proved essential during my student days.

“Great LMS for school or uni”
Pros
Blackboard is a reliable and userfriendly LMS that requires minimal direction or training for new users. Communication and notifications are consolidated for easy access and the gradebook is a fantastic feature presenting all assessment information in one place. The submission process allows users to thoroughly review documents and similarity reports before submission.
Cons
The UI could benefit from an update to enhance userfriendliness reducing clicks and adding more shortcuts for site navigation. Features supporting collaboration in group projectstasks would be useful as many users prefer external software for these purposes. However it remains perfectly adequate for users familiar with the LMS.

“Reliable Software”
Pros
We've been using Blackboard for over ten years and on the med school side it is absolutely essential. Without it our school year would not be successful. We have never encountered major outages or issues with the software.
Cons
While students quickly grasp the platform faculty and staff often require multiple training sessions. It takes a bit of time to become accustomed to using the software.

“It enables us to create a great and effective learning environment.”
Pros
Blackboard has all the necessary tools to create a great and effective online learning environment. I personally like the LTI tools, which you can integrate into Blackboard to be successful. Also, it is user-friendly and you dont have to be a tech genius to manage the tools.
Cons
Ive heard from senior professors about how challenging it is to add content to BB. The fact that course materials and syllabi are occasionally mixed up with other materials in other parts is proof of this.

“A Blackboard LMS review.”
Pros
Where does one even begin to describe how great Blackboard LMS is? The simplicity of this products know-how is one of its best qualities. When we first started using Blackboard LMS, I spent less than two hours teaching a sizable section of our staff how to use Blackboard. As a result, organizing a classroom is now simpler than it has been in ten years.
Cons
If you switch to this LMS from another, installation may be troublesome and time-consuming. Despite our good fortune, we still encountered issues when we transitioned. Even though it was annoying, this was done during the summer, when enrollment was the lowest.
