Top notch Learning System For Our Premium Needs

Pros

Learning with Cornerstone feels intuitive, with a mostly tidy interface. While some newer systems offer more modern features, Cornerstone gets the job done for us. I appreciate how relatively simple it is to engage our users and deliver quality learning content.

Cons

While the content development tools are improving, it is still necessary to use external authoring applications.

The worst experience I have ever had with a software or company!!!!

Pros

Unfortunately, the salesperson misled us, and it does not suit our needs as a restaurant group.

Cons

Despite being assured otherwise, it does not integrate with ADP, leaving us feeling cheated.

Clunky from the instructor view

Pros

I appreciate the organization of my sessions on the calendar and having my certificates conveniently stored in one place. It's also handy to be able to download a roster copy.

Cons

From an instructor's perspective, the reporting capabilities are limited; I can only access the roster. It would be beneficial to see who has taken related courses or attended my sessions directly within the system.

Cornerstone LMS not great for complicated builds

Pros

Cornerstone represents a significant improvement over the LMS platforms we used five years ago. It handles large volumes of learning objects and straightforward assignments well.

Cons

Administering Cornerstone is not straightforward, there are numerous nuances that arise during various activities also there are inconsistencies across different screens. While some areas allow you to select multiple objects at once, others require individual clicks, which is time-consuming.

Cons

Solid HRIS system with a strong LMS

Pros

Cornerstone offers one of the best LMSs I have encountered in my career. They consistently update the system with new features and adapt it to emerging technologies like machine learning and mobile compatibility. It seamlessly supports all the content we utilize, and managing users is relatively painless. Each aspect of the system integrates smoothly with the others, creating a cohesive performance management suite.

Cons

Customer service is a weak point, it is been an issue for years. While they claim to be improving, there is still a long way to go. Mobile compatibility and multimedia support, especially for video, also need enhancement.

I appreciate being able to access training courses and resources on my phone. It allows me to participate in training while commuting, making me more productive. Before using Cornerstone LMS, I had to be at a computer to take training courses.

I appreciate that Cornerstone continually releases new tools and features to enhance the LMS. They genuinely listen to their customers and implement necessary upgrades. Navigating the software is straightforward, and creating ILT sessions and events is simple. The ability to award badges for completing learning objectives boosts learner morale.

Cons

The Quiz functionality is outdated and cumbersome to use. It is not modern, and every test must be out of 100 also arranging questions is limited, and the tool needs upgrading for ease of use.

We maintain all learning transcripts on the LMS, building courses and assigning learning to every employee. The reporting function and regular updates are particularly appreciated.

Cons

Getting immediate assistance and accurate information is challenging. Joining a call for questions often results in waiting until the next day, and post-sales support is lacking.

Pros

Their customer service is a major advantage. They have rapidly improved their case management to provide timely responses and offer comprehensive documentation, webcasts, beta groups, and live trainings with each new feature release.

Cons

I wish there were more customization opportunities. While you can create custom pages, you're restricted to Cornerstone's layout and HTML/CSS scripting.

Pros

What I love most about the software is its ease of learning and navigation. When I started this role, I had no prior experience with Cornerstone or LMS, yet it was incredibly easy for me to grasp. I highly recommend Cornerstone to those seeking a new provider.

Cons

There is not anything particularly bothersome about the software. Dealing with their support model can be tricky at times, but that's about it.
