Regular updates

Pros

It stands out for how flexible it is with settings and customization. The custom pages and menus, together with the layout builder, give us a lot of control and the design feels modern while continuing to improve with regular updates. The API also looks very promising even though we haven't started using it yet. We do plan to connect Docebo LMS with external platforms and possibly build an admin tool that would help our team manage users and course databases more effectively. Another big plus is bulk uploading through CSV for users, courses and enrollments. That feature saves us a huge amount of time especially when we need to update user fields in bulk or enroll large numbers of people into specific groups or learning plans. The course player is also very flexible. We use course widgets to add more value to courses, collect feedback and give learners access to downloadable files and other materials directly within the course.

Cons

Docebo has added custom integrations with an external platform to improve classroom management, including scheduling and utilization which helps to some extent. Even with that in place, we still need separate custom software built around custom reports to visualize course schedules in the exact way we want.

Engaging and effective learning

Pros

Getting training programs up and running with Docebo feels convenient, engaging and effective without taking much time. It gives users the functionality needed to organize courses properly and add the right level of customization.

Cons

The biggest drawback is the cost. Getting started can sometimes feel difficult and the pricing overall is a noticeable setback. Response times could be faster and the customer support experience still has room for improvement.

Patient staff

Pros

The platform really shines when it comes to customizing screens and buttons and the interface can be tailored to fit exactly what you need. On top of that, the support team is helpful and the regular updates based on customer feedback are a big plus.

Cons

administration access can feel a little complicated. I'd also like to give power users access to a specific domain without having to make them super admins across the entire platform. The good part is that Docebo has acknowledged this request and said that added functionality is coming soon.

Easy to handle

Pros

As a learner, the part I appreciate most is how simple and user-friendly the app is to use.

Cons

The biggest downside seems to be on the admin side since there are quite a few workarounds needed when importing video materials and similar content.

smooth set up

Pros

Setting it up took very little time. The platform was simple to learn and the Help Desk has continued to respond quickly with genuinely helpful answers. One of the biggest advantages is that so much of it is visual so you can get results without dealing with complicated programming. Docebo's support team has been excellent overall and my CXM, Christina Streetman, has been absolutely fantastic!

Cons

Since the platform is still evolving, there are some inconsistencies in how certain features work. For example some menus are clickable while others seem like they should be but are not. I'd also really appreciate having more customization options available without needing to code an entirely new page.

Flexible customer experiences

Pros

Each customer can have a different experience while still using the same platform which is a big advantage. Once the initial setup is out of the way, the system is also very simple to use.

Cons

I'd really like learning plans to be assignable the same way courses are when creating new users since it would save having to jump through multiple pages. It would also help if SuperAdmin permissions had more than one level.

Nice LMS

Pros

Our initial demonstration of the platform left us impressed. Working within the free trial was a pleasant experience.

Cons

I found the software to be complicated and expensive. The difficulty in launching the software was evident upon logging in. Compared to our previous experience with a different LMS, self-implementation with Docebo seemed daunting.

Interactive content guidance

Pros

The platform does a nice job of directing users to specific content in a way that feels interactive and user-friendly.

Cons

At the same time, it could use more flexibility when it comes to reporting, notifications and editing content within the LMS.

Docebo University has been helpful

Pros

It stands out for client and relationship management and Docebo University has been very helpful for onboarding new clients. The implementation process is thorough and well handled, with clear guidance, coaching and tracking throughout. The user interface is solid, content management works well and their IT support for clients has also been reliable. AI and automation, notifications and catalog management are all good to pretty good overall.

Cons

There's still room to improve in a few areas. Learner tracking could be better especially since the platform currently doesn't capture multiple interactions with the same course or exam very well. Settings for courses, training materials, certificates and similar admin tasks could be more user-friendly. Exam management also needs stronger functionality such as versioning support. It would help to have more granular control over power users, groups and branches, along with deeper administrative control in Coach & Share at the post and category level. Reporting could be more powerful, with better control over what data gets included and broader support for payment processors would be useful. The central repository could also do more to function as a true hub for all training-related materials.

makes knowledge sharing simple

Pros

It makes knowledge sharing simple for employees and the platform gives us plenty of ways to tailor the experience for different groups through simple page design and effective group targeting. The learning management features feel very complete overall and the customer success team has been consistently high quality and helpful.

Cons

A few features still feel missing or could be designed better especially the monitoring tools available for managers.

helps us keep learners accountable

Pros

It helps us keep learners accountable while still meeting different learning needs through a variety of learning formats and system features. That combination makes training more memorable and gives people useful resources they can actually apply on the job. The mix of structured learning with social learning also does a really nice job of keeping the experience engaging. Our goal is for the portal to be the central place all learners go and Docebo supports that vision well.

Cons

In healthcare training, skill validation is especially important so I'd really like to see stronger dashboards and better manager visibility into competencies and compliance requirements. Engagement matters just as much and the notification portal could also be improved so messages reach the community more quickly and in a more effective way on the Docebo platform.

Variety of access permissions

Pros

Using this platform is very easy for both trainers and learners. I also really appreciate the variety of roles and permissions available since it gives a lot of control over what each user can access.

Cons

If I could change one thing, it would be the ability to create training content directly inside Docebo instead of building it in Captivate first and then uploading it. That would make the process even better.

Ability to build unique pages

Pros

One of the biggest advantages for us is how customizable the platform is. We've been able to build unique pages and tailor learning plans to fit our needs. We also have several Power Users who regularly upload and assign their own training content so the user-friendly setup is something we really appreciate.

Cons

Reporting and analytics are where we still need more. It would be really helpful to generate a report showing specific courses connected to a learning plan and its enrollment rules. Right now, we have to track that manually and with more than 150 unique enrollment rules, that becomes very difficult.

Well-trained team

Pros

Whenever I needed help, I could quickly book a call and get professional support on the specific topics I wanted to go over. The customer experience specialist was helpful, understood my concerns and was able to resolve the issues I was having on the platform.

Cons

At times, it seemed like the specialist wanted me to work through some of the problems on my own by sending support links even though I had already made it clear that I was looking for more direct assistance.

Pros

Creating reports with Docebo's reporting feature was straightforward.

Cons

Their team is always available

Pros

The platform feels practical and highly customizable and the customer service team is consistently available when needed. From the learner's perspective, it's user-friendly to use and it also gives you the ability to build very interactive courses.

Cons

Once you begin handling a lot of tasks from the administrator side, the system can start to slow down. Some loading times are longer than expected and the guides are not always very user-friendly. To really make the most of the platform, support from expert consultants is often necessary.

costly integrations and buggy ecommerce

Pros

There are several useful options for building different learning formats, including instructor-led training and e-learning. The course widgets are a highlight and the learner-facing course layout looks polished and very professional.

Cons

Recently, they introduced a feature called Docebo Connect and because of that, the native integrations they used to offer are being phased out and turned into paid add-ons. We already spent a significant amount to connect Docebo to Shopify through APIs, only to be told afterward that the Shopify native integration would be removed and everything would now require extra payment through Docebo Connect. Communication from the account manager has been poor and unclear. They are not proactive about helping improve workflows and it often feels like they are looking for every opportunity to charge more. The e-commerce functionality is also very limited and we lose hundreds of users each month because they abandon their carts before completing checkout. I'm also not a fan of the subscription setup and the Zoom integration has been extremely buggy.
