“Responsive support and solid admin tools”
Pros
Managing it as an administrator feels very simple. Support has improved a lot and now it really seems like the team understands us whenever an issue comes up. Having a monthly call with our Customer Success Manager to go over concerns also reinforces the feeling that Docebo is listening and paying attention to what matters to us.
Cons
At times, certain tasks take more clicks than they should to get where you need to go. Some newly released features also feel like they should have stayed in BETA a bit longer since not all functionality is available yet. It can also be frustrating when a bug is met with a workaround and a suggestion to "open an idea" instead of a more direct fix.

“Support makes all the difference”
Pros
With most top LMS platforms being fairly close in terms of features, Docebo's customer service is what ultimately made the difference for our company when we were choosing the best fit. They also offer a very strong feedback system and ideas management platform which really reinforces how committed they are to listening, improving and understanding their customers' needs. On top of that, their support technicians are consistently helpful and quick to step in on any issue, whether it's something minor or more complex.
Cons
Full customization can get expensive and unlocking all features and new releases may add up quite a bit in cost. The course player could also use a more polished, visually appealing design to better match the look and feel of leading MOOC platforms.

“cooperative staff”
Pros
From the first conversation about whether the platform was a fit for our business to now, two years later, Docebo's support team has been consistently helpful whenever we've needed guidance, improvements or help getting more out of the system.
Cons
A few reporting options we'd love to have still aren't available in the way we need them. The data exists but instead of being split into separate reports, it's bundled together which makes it less useful for us. Checklist reporting in particular is something that really needs to be added.

“Helpful support and guidance”
Pros
Having a dedicated point of contact has been really valuable. They help with all kinds of requests, clear up any questions that come up and offer useful suggestions and solutions whenever we run into challenges.
Cons
It's definitely nice to be able to submit ideas for improvements but with so many requests coming in from other clients as well, it can sometimes be hard to see our suggestions actually get implemented.

“comes with deep customization”
Pros
I really appreciate how flexible the platform is. It's highly customizable especially when it comes to content visibility and accessibility and it supports a wide range of content types, formats and course settings.
Cons
That same level of customization is also where the downside comes in. Because the settings can be so individualized, the backend can become quite complex, particularly for new users and there's plenty of room for issues caused by conflicting configurations such as with the waiting list.

“Improved over the years”
Pros
Found it userfriendly. The course player is dependable and managing e-learning content and administration doesn't feel complicated. I'm also much happier now with Docebo's support team and our experience with the Customer Success Manager has improved significantly over the years.
Cons
General search on the homepage/dashboard needs work since the results should be more accurate. The new custom reports would also be much better if they offered real-time data.

“Approachable team”
Pros
Getting around the platform is simple and the technology is simple to use overall. The support team is approachable and friendly and they do their best to help whenever needed.
Cons
One downside is not being able to simply call someone in tech support directly. Some admin updates also take more steps than they really should so it can feel a bit roundabout at times.

“ideal for large-scale training”
Pros
Over the past five years, our experience with the Docebo Learning Management System has been consistently very positive. That applies both to the rollout phase and to day-to-day operations. The platform has proven to be stable overall, with no major interruptions even when updates or changes are introduced. We use it alongside our Microsoft Office 365 environment to deliver learning content to students and we've synced user accounts with Microsoft Azure Active Directory through Single Sign-On configuration. One of the biggest benefits is its ability to run large exams over several hours for a high number of participants. User administration and assigning published content are simple and learning materials can be uploaded and offered in multiple formats without difficulty. It also handles externally created SCORM packages very well.
Cons
Access to the master data and test results stored in Docebo could be improved especially for building evaluations with external tools. In the exams area, we would also appreciate a wider variety of question types.

“Engaging LMs”
Pros
After switching to Docebo from a platform that also handled our HRIS, the difference has been huge. We weren't able to build reports, run them properly or customize the overall look and feel before. With Docebo, we've been able to create a highly visual, engaging learning platform that feels completely under our control. On top of that, it gives us all the traditional LMS features we need along with LXP capabilities so there's really no need to add another platform on top of it.
Cons
The admin permission options cover a lot of ground and in most cases they work well for us. They've even helped us create a self-service reporting model. Where things are limited though, is page management permissions. The ability to create and edit pages is only available at the Superadmin level and we have a few situations where we'd want someone to help manage design-related elements without giving them full admin access especially to better protect our data.

“fantastic community”
Pros
User community is very supportive. People are genuinely friendly, helpful and usually willing to share advice when needed. Compared with other platforms I've worked with, this one stands out because the user community feels much more active and engaged. On top of that, the platform offers a wide range of LMS features and possibilities and when we evaluated LMS options a few years back, Docebo ranked among the strongest choices.
Cons
There are times when it feels a bit glitchy. You might configure an enrollment rule or group setting, see that it's not working, then contact support and somehow it suddenly starts functioning. I'd really like to see those glitches cleaned up. Better notifications would also make a difference especially if multiple variables could be used. Setting up notifications for learning plans should be more simple as well. In our case, we had to work around the system and sort of hack parts of the platform to make it fit our needs. On the positive side, it is highly customizable so there's still a lot you can do with it.

“simple to manage”
Pros
Managing the platform for our learners across the globe has been very simple which has made administration much more efficient on our end.
Cons
Because we operate as a federation, we need to offer one default experience while also allowing each federation to have its own. That setup doesn't always fit perfectly with certain parts of the system. We've been able to find workarounds for most issues but not for everything.

“committed team”
Pros
Great how committed the team is to helping customers succeed. The platform is incredibly versatile which lets us offer a strong and well-rounded catalog of training options. It has also made learning much more accessible for both our customers and our employees.
Cons
My only real issue is with support at times. When we reach out, the responses can feel more automated than personal, almost like we're talking to a bot instead of an actual person. It can be frustrating when it seems like they're responding just to reply rather than taking the time to fully understand the problem.

“Exceptional user community”
Pros
I appreciate how open it is especially with its powerful API and the flexibility built into so many features. That makes it possible to come up with creative ways to solve problems even when the solution is not exactly what you first had in mind. On top of that, the support team, product team and user community are truly exceptional when it comes to being helpful.
Cons
I'd really appreciate more transparency around the overall platform direction and roadmap. Updates are released constantly but they can sometimes feel a little random and not always focused on the most urgent needs. Having better visibility into what is planned and when improvements are expected would also make it much easier to decide where customizations are worth investing in.

“impressive functionality”
Pros
It's fairly user-friendly to navigate and comes with enough built-in functionality to get things up and running pretty quickly.
Cons
You can tell the platform and interface have been updated bit by bit over time because there are noticeable inconsistencies in the design, formatting, layout and how certain features work. It also feels restricted in a few areas, including SEO options for the commerce page, admin permissions for Power Users and the available fields in reporting.

“flexible custom pages”
Pros
The thing that has been especially valuable is how flexible the custom pages are since they let us surface the right information to the right people. The course management interface and overall setup are much more simple than in the LMS platforms I've used before. It's also very simple to customize the platform so it looks polished and stays user-friendly for our end users.
Cons
Reporting is still weaker than on some other platforms I've worked with since there are limits on the kinds of reports you can run and the fields you can include. I also think the Outlook integration is more complicated than it really needs to be.

“support has improved a lot”
Pros
Having the freedom to shape and customize the platform around our needs has been really important for a tech company like ours. It strikes a nice balance between the learner-facing side and the admin/backend side which helps both end users and administrators. Since we follow a very decentralized learning model, our internal trainers were able to jump in and start using it without much delay. On top of that, the Docebo team recently refreshed their customer service approach and the difference has been noticeable, they've become much better thought partners to their clients.
Cons
Some features can be fairly complex to work through. The high level of customization is valuable but it also means you need a strong understanding of the product to make the best choices around design and functionality. It would help if the pros and cons of certain features and implementation approaches were explained more clearly.

“Offers multilingual support”
Pros
Designing, building and sharing courses with Docebo has been really simple. Another big plus is its multilingual support which makes it a good fit for a much broader range of users. On top of that, the customer service has been outstanding.
Cons
Something that feels limiting is the restricted functionality available to Power Users especially not being able to create automated groups. If that part were improved, this already excellent platform would be even stronger.
