SkyPrep is really easy to use and the platform felt very user friendly from the beginning. The training was organized really well, with a self-guided learning approach plus several private sessions that made it easy to get answers to specific questions along the way.

Cons

This is fairly minor but I'd still like to have some menu shortcuts available. They may already be there, though I haven't taken the time to check yet.

To be honest it has been a pleasure to use. Everything about it works well for us and being able to build content directly inside the LMS is incredibly convenient. The standout feature, though, is the excellent support and customer service.

At this point I really haven't run into anything I dislike. There are occasional minor bugs now and then but they get resolved very quickly.

Customer support has been outstanding and even the bot is incredibly helpful. The course management setup is very flexible which has been a big plus. User and admin management are also really useful and I especially appreciate being able to give a facilitator the next level of access without making them a full administrator.

My only concern right now is the move to a new course creation platform. I am still figuring out how to make the transition to the new studio doc as smoothly as possible.

One thing that could be better is the way the user cap is handled when you need to add more people to a group that's already full.

I feel like the thing that would make it even better is having platform training videos available right on the dashboard. I'd still rate it 8 out of 10 when it comes to recommending it.

Building courses in SkyPrep LMS is really easy and the options available during setup are genuinely helpful. The assessment creation feature is also a big plus and an important part of making the courses work well.

One thing that's been frustrating is the messaging feature, since I am never fully sure whether my messages were actually sent. I am also still unclear on the best way to configure the automated course reminders.

One thing that really keeps me happy with SkyPrep LMS is how often their team rolls out new features. Even more impressive though is the customer support. As the team has been incredibly helpful, quick to respond and genuinely committed to fully resolving our questions instead of giving surface-level answers.

Cons

The biggest frustration for us has been the platforms load time. There are times when users make an update and we get contacted because something seems wrong but the real issue is that the system just hasn't finished loading yet. In some cases, it can take over a day for updates to process and officially appear.

It has been easy for both learners and admins to use. It's got a lot of cool features and integrating it with our Shopify store was a piece of cake. Plus, it's really reasonably priced and we've had zero downtime. Setting it up was smooth and simple.

Honestly, I really don't see any downsides. I'm not the most tech-savvy person when it comes to admin tasks but their help center and customer service are top-notch!

Learners find the platform very user-friendly. Also it is simple to teach power users how to assign courses and handle enrollments. The integration with Shopify works perfectly too.

As an administrator I am not very tech-savvy. The backend has a lot of options which can feel a bit overwhelming, but it is not a real issue because the support team always guides me through any problems I encounter.

Navigating the platform, adding new users and pulling reports were all incredibly simple and easy to accomplish.

I don't have many complaints. There are some minor hiccups with certain functions but nothing that actually affects the functionality. One thing I wish is that there was a way to verify that Knowledge Boosters were sent out or even send reminders to complete them.

It's so simple to use, track progress and assign courses to employees. Everything just works like it should.

Transferring completion certificates was a bit of a hassle because we couldn't do it in bulk and we had to do it one by one.

SkyPrep implementation process was way too easy. Plus I found it fairly simple to use and the setup was not complex at all as minimum effort was required. Lastly the SkyPrep team was very helpful and kind at every step. They guided me well throughout.

I do not have many complaints. There are a few minor issues with some functions, but they do not disturb overall functionality. But I do wish there was a way to confirm that Knowledge Boosters were sent or a method to send reminders for completing them.

Transferring training records and certificates is not an easy process. We had to do it one by one, which took a lot of time to move everything from SkyPrep to our HRIS.

SkyPrep's course authoring tools are packed with features that make creating modular courses and assessments really easy. Their API made it super simple to integrate the platform into our website. Their success managers are amazing and always make sure all our questions get answered. We've worked with them for almost ten years and during that time, they've helped us integrate new features to meet our needs.

In the past we had an issue with reporting where it sometimes missed some data points. However, they've added a custom report feature that's starting to fix that issue.

As an administrator, I find the system very easy to set up and maintain. Also, its user-friendly from both administrative and user perspectives. Their customer support is excellent too as they offers monthly check-ins, updates and answering questions that too without charging any additional cost.

The only issue I faced was quickly resolved once I contacted the support team. They provided a quick solution, so there are no dislikes!!

Setting up courses with this system was quite easy compared to others I have used in the past. After demoing several options and using four different LMS systems over the past decade, SkyPrep stood out to me. Although we had very unique requirements that needed specific adjustments, the team was keen to help and made the process smooth for us. They even provided video calls to walk me through settings and setup to ensure everything met our needs. I was able to upload a course, create quizzes and adjust settings to our custom needs, often in under an hour!

Cons

Customer support is not available 24/7 which can cause difficulties mainly if a tech issue arises after hours or during holidays (for example, they observe American and Canadian holidays, which can result in up to four days without service following a weekend). However, they remain responsive during major system shutdowns, and we generally do not face system issues. So just be cautious about scheduling your initial rollout around their holidays, as support might be limited if you face a problem.

Its features when compared with price gives you an idea that it offers great value for the money you spend. We evaluated 1015 LMS options and Skyprep appeared as the clear winner. It offers complete functionality and simplifies course creation. Also the administrative backend is fairly user friendly.

So far we have not come across any serious drawbacks. SkyPrep fulfills all our LMS requirements.

We very much liked the advanced features in Skypreps premium version including knowledge checks assessments and permissions for multiple admins to upload and grade material. It has become an integral part of our onboarding and refresher training for medical personnel ensuring they stay up to date with our protocols and procedures.

I honestly don't have any real complaints about SkyPrep. The only thing I struggled with was moving all our PowerPoint presentations over without using Studio. But once I figured out that Studio was the easier way to go, it wasn't an issue anymore.

Not only the Learning Paths are user friendly but the system offers multiple course authoring tools with SCORM support. Plus, Skypreps responsive customer support and API integration have made our training management smooth.

Not much to complain about here. It's a solid system, and the uploading and assigning features are really easy to use.

The software is remarkably user friendly allowing our trainees to follow along on their own PCs without screen sharing. Also to search for specific content, I do not have to struggle much which is another plus point of SkyPrep.

There is a slight lag during the sign in process but its a minor inconvenience and not happened often. So it is something we can let go!

Software's course creation tools are very detailed, and with SCORM support, you can easily add third-party courses, so you can say it covers everything. Plus, over the years they have worked with us to customize the system to fit what our users need. The customer support is awesome too, whether we need to have a direct meeting with account manager or quick help through chat. Moreover their API made it easy to integrate it with our website, so now offering our courses has become a lot simpler.

The reporting features don't cover all the data points we'd like, and with a lot of users, the reports can sometimes take longer than we'd want.

Also, we have all the tools we need to manage everything, from users and certificates to content and analytics. Plus, their integration APIs let us connect the content our users create with our own apps. On top of that, SkyPrep has a bunch of other cool features like mobile access, reporting, dashboards, gamification, course building and learning paths.

I wish I had more control over what shows up on my dashboard. And some of the data there isn't really useful for me so it'd be nice to be able to filter out the stuff I don't need.

“Secure and reliable product

We use SkyPrep for supervisory compliance. For instance, the federal government might say we need to do training on privacy, or since we do a lot of transactions with large dollar amounts, we have to be weary of money laundering which means we have to do a course on money laundering. Here, SkyPrep allows us to offer those courses, do the training and report back to our auditors that we are doing the training and show that we have a record of it.
