Being able to get Udemy Business for just a 2 person team is a huge plus for us. It lets me purchase it for both myself and my business partner without paying for seats we don't need. A lot of other platforms require a minimum of 5 users, so this setup works much better for a small business like ours.

A limitation is that the Team Plan doesn't include access to every course. To unlock the full course catalog, you have to move up to the Enterprise plan and that upgrade requires at least 20 team members.

I noticed that the number of employees an admin can add seems to depend on the plan. Because of that, we have to regularly monitor which users are active and which ones are not, so we can free up access and assign it to other employees when needed.

We ended up creating a workaround where employees had to take screenshots after completing training which was frustrating and created extra work for our HR and L&D teams.

Even though the investment does pay off, the cost can become enormous very quickly when you're rolling it out at scale. Since they aren't the ones creating the content themselves, I would expect the platform to be much more affordable than other providers but in reality it's actually one of the most expensive options.
