when it comes to flexible content creation and reporting, it feels a bit restrictive. I'd love more creative freedom to build dynamic, newsletter-style pages for things like event highlights, but the current tools make it a challenge. Similarly, generating specific, individualized reports for things like different promotion dates is more difficult than it should be.

This learning system gives us a very adaptable design that works for all kinds of training situations. We have used the custom editing features, uploaded SCORM files, built quizzes, used game-like elements and certification tools and we regularly use many of the available reports. The support team has also gotten much quicker at responding to our requests and fixing any issues.
Cons
Even though we can customize things to a degree, we have definitely run into its limits. Like managing the size and position of images can be difficult. The quiz tool does not allow for sequence-matching or drag and drop questions. You can schedule reports and filter the data but some information cannot be removed and since it's a CSV file, I have to clean it up every week before sending it to stakeholders. We have been using this product for nine years and have faced challenges as it has changed. It seems mainly built for restaurants and places that track ongoing skills which does not match our use case. We sometimes have issues with SCORM modules not displaying properly. Also since the developers design for Chrome and our Windows machines use Edge, it sometimes creates a poor experience. The major update in 2019 was not a smooth transition as we had to rebuild everything manually.

The ease of use, mobile learning, tracking, reporting and the option to make changes on the fly make Wisetail LMS a great tool. I can quickly create and edit forms or courses and my team members enjoy using it. The owners see its value and regional managers find it easier to manage their areas. Integrating it into our business was pretty easy too.
Cons
Programming can be glitchy and sometimes does not save properly, so I have had to redo forms occasionally. A high-speed internet connection is necessary. It seems like certain functionalities should have been developed by now, like bulk editing fields in forms, bolding text, creating bulleted lists in forms, adding PDFs to forms and assigning groups or managing teams when creating new users.

With Wisetail LMS, I have combined LMS, communication, operations manuals and important documents all on the iPad at our location. The data compression lets me upload countless videos and documents. I can create digital forms, checklists or quizzes that can be tracked and graded within the app. Paper manuals and back-office PCs are a thing of the past. Frontline employees get the information they need quickly and consistently. Watching short videos instead of reading long, boring documents is transforming how employees learn and Wisetail was a game-changer in this regard. The internal messaging feature is fantastic any tablet linked to the system can communicate. Employees can share ideas, solve problems and connect with just two clicks. Uploading content is super easy. I just drag and drop files on the admin site and the information syncs instantly to any connected tablet. I can't praise the support team enough they have been amazing throughout our Wisetail LMS rollout. They always strive to customize the app to fit our companys needs and they are quick to respond and help with any issues.
Cons
The multiple-choice buttons on forms are placed close together. Completed forms get graded, but incorrect answers are not highlighted on the completed form weblink.

Since training often happens outside of a desk setting, Wisetail LMS caters perfectly to that. The product allows two-way communication with my workforce and allows management to share important information with specific segments of the business. I love being able to create and customize content, quizzes and forms, ensuring that new hires retain the necessary information before moving on. On the fly video capture and annotation are invaluable for training on our warehouse floor.
Cons
The products downside seems to be related to Wisetail LMS being a relatively new company that is still developing and refining the software to keep up with demand. Fully integrating Team Manager with the admin portal would address the "clunky" feeling of switching between those two parts of the system. A streamlined, code-free option for adding images to forms and quizzes would be a big advantage. Integration with cloud-based file management systems like Box would also simplify content sharing through URLs.
