Helpful in supporting cross team collaboration

Pros

Handling multiple BOMs is very convenient and the change management process makes things so much easier . It also helps teams collaborate better across functions and supports more data-driven decision-making.

Cons

The pricing is on the high side. There also isn't much privacy for the organization and connecting it with other business systems can be challenging.

smooth ERP sync

Pros

One thing that really works well with Infor PLM Discrete is how smoothly it connects with other business systems especially ERP solutions. That kind of integration makes data sharing, synchronization and collaboration between departments much better which helps keep information consistent and accurate across different processes. The interface is also user friendly and the workflows feel very well organizes so it's easier for people to find what they need and get their work done inside the PLM system. That definitely helps shorten the learning curve and supports stronger adoption across the organization.

Cons

At the same time, connecting Infor PLM Discrete to existing tools like ERP or CAD software can be more involved than expected and may take extra effort. The integration side can become challenging because of compatibility limitations, data mapping issues or the need for custom interfaces to make everything work together properly.
