What Is OptaCut?
OptaCut is a cloud-based manufacturing platform that minimizes fabric wastage through AI-enabled fabric estimation, optimization algorithms, and leakage tracking to reduce deadstock and raw-material loss. It automates cut-order planning, grouping, marker allocation, and roll assignment to generate optimal cut plans and minimize end bits. The platform also captures live cutting-floor deviations, provides lay plans and lay slips, and delivers KPI dashboards to monitor ‘CAD’, cutting, and warehouse performance for faster, data-driven decisions.

OptaCut Features
OptaCut estimates fabric consumption using AI and big-data analytics to suggest fabric ordering close to actual need. It reduces over-ordering and potential deadstock by providing more accurate consumption values.
The software automates shrinkage, width and shade grouping plus marker allocation to produce the best cut plan from hundreds of candidate solutions. It applies around twenty optimization algorithms across planning stages to arrive at optimal layouts and minimize manual planning time.
The system allocates fabric rolls to markers in an optimal sequence to minimize end bits and efficiently use available rolls. It produces roll-allocation outputs and lay plans that reduce manual mistakes such as wrong shrinkage or shade during laying.
The platform captures spreading and cutting deviations via tablet input on the cutting floor and enables plan re-adjustment in real time. It provides live cutting status with shortage details to support informed decision-making during execution.
