“grouping controls done right”
Pros
What stands out most about OptaCut is how many choices it gives during grouping. The grouping process is very flexible, with options to set deviations, apply different warp and weft tolerances and even keep 0% tolerance on the minus side while allowing 1% on the plus side or the other way around. There are plenty of useful settings like these which makes the software very adaptable.
Cons
There is not much I dislike about the software. The only occasional issue comes up when new rolls are added or removed. If the grouping changes because of a new roll, then a new pattern has to be created.
