“Shared IPs lack deliverability!!”
Pros
The platform comes equipped with everything needed to manage email campaigns effectively, including a well-designed dashboard and useful reporting tools for monitoring campaign performance.
Cons
Transactional email pricing is very expensive and messages get blocked or land in spam far too often. On lower-cost plans, the sending IP is shared and when other users abuse it, everyone on that IP is affected. There's basically no practical fix since getting an IP removed from a blocked range is a very bureaucratic process. Paying for a dedicated IP also doesn't make sense unless you're sending more than 10,000 emails a day.

“confusing setup and paid limits”
Pros
Over the years, it has consistently proven reliable for sending easy email campaigns to a stable audience.
Cons
When I tried setting up a new account for a recent project, the process felt a lot more complicated than it used to be. On top of that, a number of features that were previously free are now locked behind paid plans. The redesigned interface was also confusing and far less user-friendly and in the end I gave up and switched to another provider.

“user-friendly layout and navigation”
Pros
Among email marketing and contact management solutions, this platform stands out for its ease of use. Navigation is simple, categories are easy to find and most features are self-explanatory.
Cons
One thing I'd really like to see is more flexibility when building emails and templates. It would be helpful if frequently reused elements, like buttons or standard content blocks for our institution, could be saved separately and accessed easily without having to rely only on a template.

“fantastic value and mobile access”
Pros
Our experience with it has been excellent from start to finish. It's easy to implement, simple to use on a daily basis and the mobile app performs very well. The value provided for the cost is outstanding.
Cons
I've been happy with all of it and don't have any complaints or remarks about the software.

“generous free plan”
Pros
A major advantage is the generous free plan. Being able to send around 10,000 emails to 2,000 subscribers without unnecessary complexity makes it a highly practical option.
Cons
Although the free plan is a nice bonus, the pricing starts to get pretty steep once your email volume and subscriber count begin to grow.

“Effortless campaign management”
Pros
Managing large-scale email marketing campaigns is refreshingly simple with this platform. It combines the essential tools and functionality needed to run campaigns effectively making it an enjoyable solution to work with.
Cons
Sometimes, building email lists or audience segments can be difficult. The newer updates to the system have made that part a little more complicated than it used to be.

“Simple segmentation and reporting tools”
Pros
Sending campaigns to large customer groups is easy and efficient. The segmentation features are particularly useful for targeting specific audiences, while the customizable surveys and clear reporting make it easy to understand and act on the results.
Cons
One thing to be careful about is the cost because it can add up fast if you are not paying close attention. If you are working with a large customer list, it is important to really understand how segments work so you do not end up paying for the same customers multiple times.

“User-friendly team platform”
Pros
One of the biggest advantages is how simple the platform is to use so most of my marketing team can work with it effectively without needing much, if any, training. The interface also feels very well designed and pleasant to navigate.
Cons
Once you start working with very large email lists and email volumes, in my case, into the millions, the cost climbs quite a bit. On top of that, list management is not as simple as I'd like it to be.

“Free plan with templates”
Pros
Getting started with it is pretty easy. We use the free version and it still comes with a nice variety of templates to pick from.
Cons
Editor feels like it could use a few more options, such as line or paragraph indentation. It also automatically adds a line break before and after bullet points which I'd rather it didn't.

“Flexible drag-and-drop design”
Pros
One thing I really appreciate is how flexible and user-friendly the drag-and-drop components are when building any email marketing campaign. The design features also give plenty of room to customize the email layout so it matches your own visual style. On top of that, it's especially useful to include references, images and other promotional elements without hurting interaction. Managing the participant list is also very easy and being able to categorize different community members is something that matters a lot for the way we use it.
Cons
Pricing agreements were a limitation for us because they capped the number of messages and contacts we could have each month. Because of that, we had to start talking about cutting back on parts of our email marketing strategy even though we still want it to remain profitable. It seems like each pricing tier really needs to allow more connections and transfers within email marketing.

“Fast email creation”
Pros
Running marketing emails to a large customer base is really efficient on this platform. You can tweak existing emails or build a brand-new one from scratch with the practical email creator and launching a campaign only takes a few minutes. The reporting tools also give useful insight into how recipients interact with your emails which makes it much easier to plan effective remarketing strategies.
Cons
One downside is that the email template library still feels pretty limited and there's still no Windows application available. If you use the service often, having a desktop program would definitely be better than relying only on the website.

“Trusted long-term platform for marketers”
Pros
After more than 20 years working in email marketing, this platform has remained one of the few tools I've stuck with from the beginning. I came across it early in my career and have continued using it ever since. Many of my clients had been on other systems before hiring me and most of those felt clunky and didn't offer much flexibility for creating eye-catching emails that actually stand out in the inbox. One area where this platform has consistently outperformed the rest is deliverability and I still haven't seen another system match it. As email marketing has evolved over the years, the platform has kept investing in improvements and expanding how it connects with channels like social media, eCommerce and other tools. Those added features have made it much more of an all-in-one solution which has had a really positive effect on my workflow. I genuinely can't recommend it enough.
Cons
With all the investment they've been putting into the platform, there have also been plenty of usability and design changes along the way. From a user perspective, that can definitely be frustrating. The dashboard and menu structure can sometimes feel like they've changed overnight which is annoying when you're used to doing things a certain way. That said it's still manageable and it feels like they may finally be nearing the end of these major redesigns as they continue building out the system's functionality.

“Quick setup with useful analytics”
Pros
Getting this up and running was pretty easy especially if you're already comfortable using Google's suite of products. There are tons of templates and layout options to work with and the basic analytics are really useful for figuring out which subject lines and hyperlink text perform best. It also includes helpful features like a landing page for subscription signups, an archive display for past newsletters and the ability to automatically post your newsletter and featured image to social media.
Cons
Most of the drawbacks I ran into probably would have been solved by moving up to a paid plan. The only real frustration I had with the way I used it was eventually hitting the subscriber limit.

“Affordable and practical marketing tool”
Pros
Right away, the standout points are how simple it is to use and the wide range of tools it offers which let us handle different functions without much hassle. It's one of the most economical options available in the market and feels especially well-suited for small ventures that are still growing and building their presence. On top of that, it delivers meaningful business insights that can really help with improving operations and supporting overall growth.
Cons
The only area that may cause a bit of difficulty is customization especially for someone who doesn't have basic technical skills. Other than that, I honestly haven't come across any real drawbacks with this software.

“Beginner-friendly nonprofit solution”
Pros
As someone without a marketing background, this software has been really approachable to use. I needed something that could create clean, attractive and readable email campaigns for our non-profit's events and meeting schedules and it has handled that really well, plus a bit more. One feature I especially appreciate is being able to save templates and simply swap out the text and images for the next month's newsletter. That has made it much easier to keep our branding consistent. The post-email reports are also very useful since they show metrics like opens, bounced emails and the reasons behind them, plus which links people clicked. That information has been genuinely helpful for improving our email strategy over time.
Cons
Getting comfortable with the software definitely involves some trial and error. Even though the drag-and-drop email builder is fairly easy, I still feel like I'm battling the preset sizing options when I want elements to align the way I want. I've also noticed that our emails from this platform seem to land in spam folders more often than messages we send pirdapir from our Gmail account.

“Startup-friendly free marketing access”
Pros
When you're just getting started, email marketing usually isn't anywhere near the top of the budget especially before any clients are coming in. This gives startups a powerful, user-friendly and affordable, basically free, way to start running marketing campaigns before it really makes sense to pay for a bigger platform. It feels like the only option in its category that truly lets a startup get email marketing off the ground without a major investment.
Cons
Its integrations with popular apps aren't as extensive as alternatives like ActiveCampaign although that feels like a small trade-off considering the price. If needed, Zapier can fill in the gaps and connect the apps you want.

“Centralized communication system”
Pros
Over the course of my job, I've relied on this product to stay in touch with customers and affiliates and it has been a really helpful way to keep all communication in one place. The platform is very user-friendly which makes day-to-day use much more manageable.
Cons
Sometimes adding graphics and videos can be a little tricky. That said people who are more comfortable with technology would probably handle it without much trouble. I usually struggle with technical features in general so my view may be a bit biased.

“Reliable community outreach tool”
Pros
During the COVID-19 pandemic, this has been a really helpful way for parishioners in our split-unit community to stay connected and communicate. It's been especially useful at a time when so much has come down to personal beliefs and questions about how to respond to our government and county authority leaders.
Cons
At times, I wish it had some kind of alarm or alert to let me know when something has reached my inbox. That would give me a chance to retrieve it and make edits before it goes to the final publisher later in the week especially when things are already hectic and we're being pushed to the limit.

Pros
Adding new contacts is easy and I really appreciate being able to tag each person based on the different ways I need to reach them for our various health care options.
